Excellent. The only reason I rated them down was the food attendant smelled badly of cigarette smoke.
This is my first time here. Went with a friend and had the lamb burger with roasted potatoes. Just enough spice and cooked to perfection. Service was good. I would definitely return.
A terrific little restaurant. The restaurant is set in an historic house on the vineyard property, and as you would expect, the ambience was charming. Brunch was very well prepared. The quiche was very good and the lamb burger was outstanding. Smallish portions but a good value nonetheless. The wine list was limited to the wines made at the property, as it should be. Next time, I will make a point of reserving the little nook in the turret.
What a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and the meals delicious
Our Server, Diane was outstanding, very personable and great sense of humour, looked after my many requests with a smile and great service.
Absolutely wonderful ❤ Great location excellent food. Waiter kind and very attentive ready to help and answer questions.
Wonderful lunch!! Food was amazing. We had the restaurant to ourselves for most of our delicious meal.
Birthday celebration in a lovely heritage house setting that was intimate with beautiful scenery just outside
Very pleasant from the time we walked in to the time we left. Food was outstanding!
Great food and service. Appreciated that we were not rushed and were able to enjoy our meal.
Restaurant was very quiet. We were 1 of 3 tables dining. Room lighting was very dim. Our server Matthew was very pleasant and offered great service. The main course Ribeye was tough and thin with a heavy layer of chimmichurri sauce. Would not recommend this dish.
We had an absolutely fantastic evening at Peninsula Ridge. The dining ambiance was very nice and our server was very attentive and pleasant. We ordered a bottle of their winery's Meritage red which was very good. Everyone ordered appetizers and were very pleased with the quality. The spicy Asian soup was very tasty as were the kale caesar salads and beet hummus plate. For entrees, our wives ordered the pasta of the day special and the men went with the grilled ribeye with chimichurri. Both of these choices were excellent. Finally the executive chef Pat came out to our table to greet us while we enjoyed their bread pudding dessert and ice wine - the four of us were on a double-anniversary date and it was really nice of him to come out and cap off a very special evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
A lovely lunch out…. Entrees we’re good but not noteworthy
Our first dinner at Pennisula Ridge. Overall a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely return again.
Great service place and food
Great view - lousy food. The peameal bacon sandwich was slapped together, lukewarm and the bun was stale. The "lamb burger" also came with a maybe 3-day old bun. The "German potato salad" with the peameal bacon consisted of some boiled or roasted potatoes with seasoning. I saw no evidence of a "potato salad". Mediocre, mediocre, mediocre. The only thing of value was the view. Try to find a way to get the view without having to suffer through the food.
We will be back soon. Always great 👍🏻👍🏻 Special
Everything was amazing. My only complaint would be the other very loud customers. It was difficult to carry on a conversation. This was no fault of the restaurant.
Dreary atmosphere, food slow in arriving, appetizer edible but uninspiring.
We had a lovely lunch overlooking the vineyard with a spectacular view from the 2nd floor corner nook. Service was great and the food was very good. Menu descriptions a bit misleading but presentation and taste made up for that small issue. Would definitely recommend.
Our server was an amazing guy who really cared about our experience. You have to have the chocolate mousse dessert. Most amazing dessert we have ever had!
Overpriced and under quality. The venison was superb but the steak was tough. I have been to this restaurant many times before but this visit underwhelmed me . I thought that the prices were much higher than the quality provided.
Limited menu, ambiance far behind other wineries .
the restaurant is in a beautiful setting and the lunch was very tasteful and professionally served.
Amazing atmosphere and beautiful setting. A real gem.
service and food was excellent, would recommend a visit
Very good food with excellent customer service. Nice place with nice view of the lake
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Peninsula Ridge! It was a delicious meal with fabulous wine. Our server was very pleasant and knowledgeable. It was the third time I’ve dined at the restaurant and Friday’s lunch was just as fabulous as the first two!
The meal was special for a few other reasons … It was the first time I’ve dined out with my best friend since Christmas 2019! It was the 2nd time I’ve dined inside since the beginning of the pandemic.
And the first time I’ve dined inside since vaccine passports came into effect. I appreciated the call a couple days ahead, confirming our reservation as well as the required protocols … provided an opportunity to ask questions and ensured no surprises. The process was very smooth and quick. And the greeter was patient as we were a bit slow finding and sharing our certificates.
Overall the meal, wine and experience were excellent. I’d highly recommend Peninsula Ridge.
I ordered the Rib eye steak for lunch at 47 $ for a 4oz portion. Being in the same industry i believe that the portion was too small for the price. Other wise the mushroom and the rest of the meal was good. The chicken schnitzel was dry.
Beautiful setting in wine country. The lunch we had was very good and the wine was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
We ate on the patio. Very pleasant once you adjust to “bird bangs” in the Vineyard. Charcuterie was ideal for sharing with a glass of wine.
A wonderful birthday celebration made all the better with amazing service and food in addition to a great wine selection and enchanting ambiance. All for a very reasonable price. We will definitely come again and can't recommend more highly.
We had a great experience. The food and the service were both tremendous. I’d highly recommend To friends. The only downside was the chairs. They were really uncomfortable-need to be replaced.
Enjoyed our lunch at Peninsula Ridge. It was wonderful eating on the terrace surrounded by the beautiful scenery and the pasta dish I selected was delicious. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend it as a great spot to go!
Our server Matt was great. Meritage wine was delicious and the food was exquisite.
We all enjoyed our lunch very much. In fact, we've booked again for next week.
The salmon is very much recommended.
The restaurant itself and the location are lovely and we have dined there several times and thoroughly enjoyed not only our meals but the whole experience. Unfortunately yesterday was a disappointment. Not sure what happened but the meals ordered at our table were not what we had previously experienced at Peninsula Ridge and could be described as barely mediocre at best in both taste and presentation. Unfortunately we had brought guests therefore their introduction to this dining experience was not positive. Hopefully things sort out in the future and the kitchen returns to upholding its previously excellent standards of creating flavourful and interesting meals.
Will definitely go back
They change the code menu regularly
This is our go-to for a special evening out, with friends or as a couple. The service is warm, attentive and friendly. The food is always a delicious experience. Our meal there last night topped our favourites list with Yuca gnocci, a pistachio crusted pork-chop and an amazing dessert; baklava cheesecake for two. You can taste the creativity, passion and quality that goes into the food.
Nice evening out, dinner was good. Service was great.
