Restaurant at Peninsula Ridge
Our culinary team takes great pride in offering the ultimate dining experience using fresh locally grown produce (often grown right down the street) served by skilled, professional and friendly staff. Our reputation for epicurean excellence is often one of the main reasons why people choose The Restaurant at Peninsula Ridge.
What a wonderful experience! For my milestone birthday, I had out of towners come to have lunch with me. The food, service and ambience were all fantastic and we sat for 3 hours visiting (the room was nearly empty in late afternoon) and no one seemed to mind. Special sparkler in my dessert for my birthday but no huge embarrassing to-do. It’s pricy but well worth it for a special occasion.
We ate here a year ago and the food quality seemed to be so much better! Our server was proficient but I felt rushed at the end. She mentioned that that day was her last before vacation. I had the daily pasta which was ok, the cheese board was the best of the lunch experience. The lavender crepe brûlée was tasty as well.
The only disappointment is that the place is outdated in it’s colour and decoration. Outside needs repair....wood is rotting-obvious from where we were sitting. I guess when I pay $115 for lunch I expect you to spend some of that money on maintenance.
We will definitely be back again!
The food was amazing, atmosphere was great, lighting was a bit dim ( hard to read the menu)
Service always very professional, menu has been the same the last few times I’ve been but several specials are available as well. Best winery to eat at in Beamsville.
The only issues we had were that the pasta portion that we had was very small but good.
We were still hungry.
Fantastic food , service and atmosphere. Peninsula Ridge never disappoints !
Excellent service from Tracey and food was delicious!!!
This is one of our favourite restaurants in Niagara region. The food is always excellent and service as well.
This is an outstanding restaurant...service is amazing..very friendly and courteous... food is amazing..great presentation...would recommend it for a great dinner or brunch
Very good experience. We have already told several friends about it and highly recommended it. It was our first time there and will definitely be going back. Thank you!!
Initial seating downstairs on the main floor as staff were set up for main floor dining.
Being a repeat customer, asked if seating was available on the second floor (intimate dining with incredible view). Staff went out of their way to accommodate our request. Extremely impressed!!!!!
From starter to desert, delicious!!!!!
Winter mid week Surf and Turf special incredible value!!!!
Will be back soon.
My visit was pleasant as always. The food and customer service was lovely. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The ambiance was relaxing and our seating was in a lovely area by the window that made for a great intimate conversation. Would highly recommend and will most definitely return.
We dined at Peninsula Ridge during the Steak and Lobster special ($29.00) When we were ordering, it was brought to our attention that there was also another option.....Surf and Surf. We assumed that they were both the same price, however, when the bill arrived the Surf and Surf was $45. I think that should have been mentioned when the dish was described at the ordering stage.
Other than that, we had a lovely meal.
Fantastic service. As our venue for our wedding next year, it holds a special place in our hearts and we cannot wait to get married in September. The staff are amazing and the food is to die for.
We were there for Sunday brunch. The scone was one of the best I’ve ever had. However, in all places that serve proper scones, they are served traditionally with cream (whipped). Not so at Peninsula Ridge. Disappointing! The frittata I ordered was bland, dry, over cooked and hard to cut through. Very bad. The salad served with the frittata was delightful. I also ordered a hit chocolate and could not taste any chocolate. It tasted like hot milk. This is my first bad experience at Peninsula Ridge.
Service was great, the food was small in portions but excellent in flavour! Great location, view and ambience.
We enjoyed the special entree of surf and turf. Perfectly prepared!
Wet enjoyable. Food was excellent. Wine was perfect.
Friendly staff and a relaxing and warm ambience. The food is top notch and reasonable. Treat yourself and friends to this one of a kind experience. The falls colours and sunset was special as is the location on the Bench.
Peninsula Ridge is my go to restaurant when I have friends from out of town. The ladies I brought Saturday had been before and were excited to return.
Been back several times since the first time for lunch on patio a few years back. Have introduced several other people to this wonderful spot and extremely great food.
service was wonderful though a little rushed even though we mentioned we were in no rush whatsoever. Look forward to their summer version of mussels with bee pollen. Delicious. Definitely a keeper.
We waited what appeared a long time between courses. The food was good despite not pleantiful but quite pricey. First time our family of four ate a three course meal and there was not a spec left on any of the plates. This was our third visit despite a consistant feeling when lesving... good food but small portions and quite pricey.
Was disappointed to see that the Salmon main course was off the menu.
Trust this is temporary.
A memorable dining experience, celebrating our 50th. Anniversary at Penninsula Ridge. My only disappointment was the fact that when I made the reservation, I indicated we were celebrating our 50th.
I thought we might have been presented with a glass of sparkling wine or even a dessert on the house. We even told our waitress we were celebrating our special anniversary. I guess it isn’t their policy. So many restaurants do acknowledge special events in some small way.
Wonderful food, wine and service and we will eat there again. We wer given a lovely table at the front of the foyer overlooking the vineyards and the lake.
Absolutely spectacular! New chef and menu!
We will return.
Took a close friend for a birthday lunch. She has dietary restrictions which were immediately addressed.. The service was excellent, food delicious and locale beautiful.
Excellent service, food, and the room was lovely.
As usual lunch was great. We were able to take advantage of the beautiful day and sat on the deck. There is a special place in our hearts for this venue, we were married there 13 years ago.
See you again soon.
Once again, great Thanksgiving meal. Only problem was over eating. Not much of a problem after all.
Love the house
Love the food
Service is great
We keep going back it's so enjoyable
We had a lovely table overlooking the vineyard and lake Ontario in the distance. Great place for having a private business discussion in a very tranquil location as well as for a friendly get together. Our meals were delicious. I will definitely return.
We had a delicious brunch. Great food, great service, and amazing views. A+!
It was lovely! We will go back again for another special occasion.
Excellent food and service, as always. We’ve dined at Peninsula a Ridge many times and have always had an excellent lunch, brunch or dinner. The patio is lovely on a warm day, overlooking the beautiful property. Staff welcoming and attentive.
A beautiful place and great atmosphere for a romantic and elegant anniversary.
Idyllic setting, gracious service, excellent meal!
We enjoy celebrating birthdays here and we love the food and the service!
