   We have been coming to Restaurant 301 for almost 26 years. We had our wedding reception dinner here in 1999. We have seen the impact of Covid on restaurants. It has been challenging. Fortunately Restaurant 301 has weathered the storm. We had an absolutely delightful and delicious Prix Fixe tasting menu dinner with paired wines on Friday May 9th, 2025. Our Hostess was informative, attentive and paced our meal perfectly. It began with amuse-buoche trio paired with a Rosé brut. This was followed by a starter course, entrée course and dessert. The starter and entrée course are paired with 2 wines per course. To be clear these are tasting pours, but I would say by the end of the tasting menu it is the equivalent of 3 glasses of wine. The Chef is talented and inspired, each course was exquisite. The 301 is back! I’d recommend trying the Prix Fixe dinner WITH the paired wines (if you enjoy wine) as a special night out or anytime you want to enjoy a spectacular meal.

   Outstanding meal. From the moment we entered the restaurant to when we left the experience was awesome. One of the best meals I have ever had. And the service was perfect

   The new prix fixe concept is very for good for this lovely small restaurant, if a bit steep for Eureka. The entrees and salads in our group were delicious, as was the short list of wines by the glass. The Amuse and desserts were nice and creative, though we might have preferred to skip these and have a smaller bill. Service is a bit annoying, varying between fawning (“My darling”), snippy (“coffee is in the lobby”) and irritatingly fast and tidy, picking up every item one by one every few minutes while we tried for a relaxed evening.

   We had a wonderful experience! Gabriel gave us awesome service and Ian was an expert bartender. The food was excellent!

   I was really looking forward to this DINING experience especially since when making the reservation I had mentioned at least two or three times I have a gluten allergy when ordering the hostess was very unprofessional seemed a little overwhelmed like she was the only one working there and I asked her about gluten-free and she said everything was gluten-free, which is unusual actually when We ordered we found out that there is not that many items that are gluten-free, especially dessert I asked for coffee and she never brought.it . Hopefully they can find somebody that can manage the place to service and pay attention to details. We were also starting at the Inn

   We were very surprised when we came to the restaurant that our table was not ready and we were greeted , not by a restaurant staff but by a receptionist of the hotel. We told him that we will walk around the area and he said that it was a good idea!! We did get seated after fifteen minutes and then we realized that this restaurant with 12-15 tables was being served by only one waiter. He tried very hard to do it, but it clearly was not possible. The food was very odd, the wine list was good, but it took the poor waiter 10-15 minutes to find a bottle of wine that we wanted. Overall, do no recommend.

    The ambiance was perfect with the food and music playing. Service was excellent and full of spirit. Would recommend for a lovely night out.
