    Great, attentive wait staff. The food was perfect, wine was wonderful, and dessert was special! We were able to eat our meal and hear each other talk because the noise level was low. If you want to go for a nice dinner with wonderful ambiance, this is the place!!!!

    Staff working hard to service wedding patrons for brunch. Consequently food orders took around 40 minutes. Noise was high at first until wedding party left. Food was good, and the four of us were served at the same time. One of our party was celebrating a birthday and was rewarded with complementary desserts which we shared. Server was knowledgeable and professional throughout. Next time we will return when there is no weddings on the docket.

    The staff were very accommodating. The service was excellent. The food came out promptly and was delicious. The appetizers were particularly delicious as were the selection of drinks. It was a memorable way to spend my sons 21st birthday.

    The service is top notch. Everyone was friendly and customer focused. We love the setting and had a table with a wonderful view of the mountains. Only sad part is having had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, we didn't have leftovers the next day or two.

    The waitstaff was excellent (Austin), food was exceptional. We booked this last minute for Thanksgiving dinner while out of town. We knew nothing about the restaurant and could not be happier. The property and scenery are beautiful. We would definitely come back and highly recommend.

    Food for most part was good, some meat dried out. For Thanksgiving who doesn't serve a dinner biscuit with butter. That was odd! Overall nice experience, breath taking view.

    Even though it was a Thanksgiving buffet the food quality was great and it all tasted amazing. Other than 1 item they were able to keep everything at the appropriate temperature and the service was great as well. Autumn took care of us and stopped by multiple times to freshen out drinks without being intrusive. She also accommodated some special requests and did everything with a smile. Would definitely go back in the future

    We enjoyed everything about our experience! All of the staff was very friendly, the wine list and specialty cocktails options are awesome, the food is incredible — just wish there were more dessert options. Also loved getting there before dark so we could enjoy the view.

    Austin was an excellent waiter and the food was outstanding. The upstairs seating area was a little plain. If the cover exterior seating had been open it might have been better.

    This is the BEST restaurant in the Carolinas. Perfect ambiance, unique and unforgettable food, farm to table all around, and abundant wine selection. We are so lucky we live less than 30 minutes away to this treasure. This was our first visit and it will not be our last. We dined outside in the courtyard next to their beautiful fountain at night and we cannot wait to go for brunch during the day to see the breathtaking mountains. The best for last, the service. Austin was attentive, authentic and made our experience that much more memorable.

    Dining at R17 capped a wonderful stay at Hotel Domestique. The menu is smallish but covered all the bases. My Chicken Cacciatore was delicious and our server doubled as our bartender for an after dinner drink. Top notch service overall!

    We went here for our 10th anniversary, thinking it would be special. The setting is lovely. The service was B.A.D. and the food was meh, especially for the price. As one example of the bad service, we ordered a bottle of wine to go with dinner. Over an hour later, when we were almost done with our main courses, the wine had not arrived *and* the server’s explanation, when asked, was that somebody had to “go upstairs” for it and that she thought it was on the way. (The wine was specially priced for the evening, so you’d think they’d have it handy.) The food was ok, but not nearly up to the level the prices would suggest. A ravioli appetizer was undercooked; squash accompanying a fish piccata dish was inedible; etc. Maybe this was just an off night. And again, the view was lovely. But we were underwhelmed by the food and very disappointed by the service.

    Stayed at the hotel, food was really outstanding! We had trout piccata, the steak special, fall salad and a kids meal. Drinks were great as well

    We love this restaurant. Beautifully prepared, savory and delicious food. Impeccable service. One of the very best restaurants in the Greenville area. A hidden gem.

    Sam did a great job in the bar. Food was fantastic. Bourbon too expensive…Buffalo Trace $16 a pour. A bottle cost $32.

    This restaurant came up in a search as being in Greenville SC, however it was over 30 miles out of town. We decided to go anyway expecting a five star experience based on reviews. We were disappointed at the stark dining room and the very limited menu. We ordered the bread plate starter, the EVOO dip was good but the bread was not fresh. We ordered from five items on the small plate menu, shell pasta with sausage and a red sauce and spaghetti with shrimp, both were good but not special. This is a very ordinary overpriced hotel/inn restaurant for people who don’t feel like driving into Greenville where there are numerous superb restaurants.

    Celebrated my birthday here, the views and service were incredible! We had the place to ourselves, and it was the perfect quiet date spot upstairs. Market fish entree and ricotta dip were AMAZING! Love the farm to table concept.

    We had a great dinner at Restaurant 17 while visiting Greenville. The cocktails and mocktails were creative and tasty. The food was exceptional, and they were able to accommodate a member of our party who is vegan. The best part of the experience was our server Michael. He was knowledgable, attentive, and added so much to our evening. We will return and would highly recommend.

    This was my third time dining here. I am gluten and dairy free and they go above and beyond to accommodate my dietary restrictions while serving me delicious food. The service is great as well. Our bus person Julia was fantastic.
