The Tides Restaurant and Turtle Lounge located at the iconic Tides South Beach Hotel, features an eclectic blend of International and American cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests have the option of dining under beautiful Florida skies "al fresco" while enjoying South Beach's favorite spectator sport "people watching", or for a more intimate quieter dining experience, guests can enjoy their meal in our beautiful "Turtle Room".
Chef Todd Mark Miller brings more than 20 years of prolific industry experience and has worked at The Ballagio with Jean Georges Vongerichten, The Four Seasons, Starr Restaurant Group and The One Group (STK).

You could hear a pin drop in the restaurant. So quiet. No music. Not many other guests. Despite having a reservation for 5, tables were not setup. The wine list was "blah" to the point where I had to ask if they had a red wine off menu. The steak was great and presented well. My colleagues didn't share my opinion of their half chicken breast entree. I would only come back here for cocktails or if it was nice enough outside to enjoy the evening.

Went for lunch. Great location but food wasn't as good as it could be. Service was a challenge. While our server was very nice the setup was very inefficient and everything took a bit too long. The lemon chicken was so dry and cold it was not edible and was sent back. Seemed like it was reheated rather than cooked to order. Empanadas we're good. Quesadilla used greasy poor quality cheese and hardly had a reasonable amount of chicken.

Worst ever. Waiter tried to do his best but to no avail. Inedible food. Had to leave after appetizers. Website menu completely inaccurate. Manager said they were changing owners. Should shut down until they get it together. Do not go.
