Food was excellent, lots of dinner choices. The service was top notch. And of course the view was amazing. Decor was a bit dated but that’s understandable given the restaurant is closing. I think this restaurant will be missed.

My friends from Australia enjoyed their visit to Vancouver and the Boathouse English Bay was a super way to end our visit. Great Food, lovely B.C. wine, super service from Heather - and - an outstanding sun set ! As a West End Resident I am going to miss you after you are gone !

So sad that this location is closing down. My wife and I have enjoyed our time and meals there over the years we’ve gone there either an anniversary or just a date. Thank you so much.

First they say us at a nice table and then Stephanie took our drink orders. Then she blindly threw them on the table and not to the right people without saying a word. Came back and took food orders and criticized what we chose. The appetizers we ordered never came the maple salmon was actually the mango salsa salmon. Our water was never refilled we were never asked for other drinks. We waited 15 min with the dishes piled on the end of our tAble before they were cleared. We had to Wait for her to walk by again to get the bill. Then we sat and waited 25 min while she talked the the table beside us for so long she kneeled On the floor. We got up and walked downstairs and finally caught the attention from the hostess who eventually helped us.

Server was arrogant and the food did not impress - crab cakes flat flavour, sauces were meh.

We had a lovely evening at the Boathouse English Bay. The meal was very good and the service was outstanding. Our special thanks goes to Stehpanie, our server who went above and beyond making our evening great.

The restaurant wasn't busy but the service was slow. Lobster Bisque was cold, steak had a lot of gristle
