It is very sad to think that this restaurant is closing next month ! Apart from the best view on the North Shore , it provides wonderful food, exceptional service and a great ( not too noisy…) ambiance . We had a lovely dinner last night , we all hope it reopens soon……thank you !

The salmon dish offers were high quality , unfortunately the food got cold real quickly because of the poor air conditioning in the restaurant. Even after advising the server nothing really changed. This made for a less than perfect experience , Cold food is not ideal. Desert was good choice and really the only appealing item for desert.

Food was good. Service was pretty unusual for this restaurant. We really hardly saw him. Sat for long, long periods with no service. Martinis had one ounce eac but we certainly paid for two. Disappointing experience for sure.

We have going here for special occasions every year since it opened in 1976! We will miss it as it's being moved and rebuilt nearby sometime in the next year or so and and look forward to it reopening with the same ambiance and foosd quality.

Amazing food and service as usual. I bring my visitors on their last evening with me , and have done this since I came to Canada 42 years ago . I will continue to do this as it never fails to please.

The service at the Salmon House was impeccable. Our stepdad was sick and they still came to help us take care of him. The food was fantastic. The gnocchi was outstanding and so was the seafood chowder soup!

Our server (female perhaps Eastern Europe) was AMAZING, she provided the very definition of “hospitality”. The view and ambience were perfect and our meals were absolutely scrumptious

As with all the higher-end restaurants, you go in expecting to get "higher" everything. The Salmon House does not disappoint in this aspect. This restaurant is a bucket list contender! Ask for more hollandaise sauce!
