Biddenden in Kent is home to a small, family-run restaurant. Housed in a 15th Century weaver's cottage, The West House Restaurant is one of only a few restaurants in Kent to hold a Michelin star.

    Booking was easy and I also called to change the time of my booking which was no problem. Dinner was a set menu with small courses. Everything was superb and delicious. A real treat.

    A real gourmet experience. A real gem in the heart of the Weald of Kent. A small intimate restaurant in the middle of Biddenden has been a favourite of mine for many years. The food is exquisitely presented and the tasting menu never fails to present fantastic flavours and interesting combinations of local produce. And if you love trying new wines, the wine pairing options from around the world are always brilliant. Always allow a few hours for the meal to get to get the full value from the dining experience.

    Wonderful food throughout the whole meal. Everything was interesting and surprising. The wine was delicious. A thoroughly memorable experience

    We had yet another lovely meal at the West House. The staff are warm and friendly and efficient and the food is delicious.

    Absolutely outstanding in every way. The food was superb, the menu, ingredients and combinations just incredible, with excellent wine pairing. One of the best meals we’ve ever had. Fantastic service. Thank you!

    What a gem! Wonderful food in charming surroundings where attention to detail is in evidence in every part of the experience. An absolute must for people who appreciate fine food and wine and excellent service.

    We love the West House - such sublime food! Lovely to have a tasting menu that actually fills you up. Service is warm and and friendly, an intimate restaurant but not at all pretentious.

    Absolutely love this local restaurant. We cannot wait to see what’s on the menu each time we visit. Every dish is like heaven on a plate. Great ambience and excellent service. Jake is very welcoming and certainly knows his food and wine. We look forward to our next visit.
