Beach Walk Café, known as the “Most Romantic Dining Experience in Destin,” is located inside the Henderson Park Inn where guests enjoy unobstructed views of the Gulf overlooking more than a mile of the world’s most beautiful and secluded beaches with spectacular sunset views.

In this idyllic private setting Beach Walk Café features an intimate atmosphere with dining available inside, with a cozy fireplace and magnificent views of the coast and outside on the verandas of the Inn overlooking the emerald waters of the Gulf. A favorite with locals and tourists alike, Beach Walk Café is known for its meticulous service, innovative cuisine and a stunning, unparalleled view.

Reservations are recommended. Please note, all diners at Beach Walk Café must be 13 or older. If there is inclement weather, your outside seating reservation is subject to alteration or cancellation.

For the money, would not return. If your into small plate entree that are fairly overpriced, this is your place. Nice little quiet setting but would not dine there again

I wanted to share some feedback from our recent visit to your restaurant. My husband, two daughters, and I dined with you to celebrate a very meaningful milestone—my recent remission from cancer. I had specifically requested a table on the porch with a view, hoping for a memorable setting to match the occasion. While we were seated on the porch as requested, we were unfortunately placed at the least desirable table—with no view of the water. Two of us were facing a restaurant supply cart at the end of the porch, and the other two, who could see the water, had the same unsightly cart and a portable storage closet visible in the background of our photos. For a $300+ meal, I would expect better attention to the dining atmosphere and table placement—especially for a reservation made with a view request noted in advance. That said, I want to commend your staff. The service was excellent, and every team member we interacted with was professional and welcoming. The bread, in particular, was outstanding. As for the food, while everything was good, we didn’t find it to be on par with the pricing. Here’s what we ordered: •3 alcoholic drinks (avg. $12–15 each) •4 waters •2 shrimp cocktails (served as the main meal for two of us) •Brussels sprouts appetizer •Shrimp & grits •Caesar salad with chicken •Fried ice cream •1 slice of key lime pie We value thoughtful dining experiences, especially when celebrating something significant. I hope this feedback is helpful as you continue to create what is clearly a beautiful and well-run restaurant. A few adjustments to table placement and presentation could elevate the experience even further. Warm regards

Great food our waitress unfortunately we didn’t get her name but she was from Hungary was amazing.The atmosphere was second to none in this area we felt like we were in Chatham on Cape COD. Just an amazing experience. We are looking forward to staying at the inn at the end of this season

My husband and I had a great time at dinner the other night. The food was amazing! Everything from the bread butter to the snapper! We also had the smoked tuna dip, the shrimp cocktail and the key lime pie. All amazing! We went to four different restaurants while visiting Destin and this was by far our favorite. A must try!

The food was exceptional as was the service. The restaurant was quiet, clean and elegant. We were seated by the window overlooking the Gulf which made the ambience perfect.

This is an absolutely gorgeous restaurant. We sat on the wrap around veranda which boasted a beautiful view of the white sand beach. The view alone was worth the visit but the food was a complete disappointment, especially given the expensive price tag. The service was excellent and the free bread was the best part of our meal. I ordered the twin Florida lobster tails with fingerling potatoes. The lobster was tough and a bit chewy, very disappointing when I was expecting fresh locally caught seafood. I’ve enjoyed fresher lobster at home in Oklahoma. The purple fingerling potatoes were completely unseasoned and barely cooked. They were still hard and just generally unpalatable. My husband ordered the fried chicken and his meal was better. Not outstanding, but good nevertheless. Given our experiences with the entrees, we opted to skip dessert. That said, this was one of the loveliest restaurants I’ve ever visited. When we return to the Henderson Inn, we will probably just stop by the Beach Walk Cafe for cocktails and perhaps an appetizer or dessert.

Eaten here many times over the years sometimes good, sometimes really good. Our dinner May 28, 2025 was outstanding in every way. The best version of Grouper Vince I’ve ever had. Filet was fork tender.

This is our favorite place to go for a special evening on the Emerald Coast. The food quality is amazing. The view beautiful and comfortable, even on a warm evening. Service is always great. Not inexpensive, but so special that it's totally worth the little extra expense.
