    As a frequent patron of this establishment, I was both surprised and, disappointed by the level of service during our recent visit. We chose to celebrate our 17th anniversary at LAVO, but the experience fell short. We waited over 20 minutes for the complimentary bread and had to repeatedly request straws, drink refills, black pepper, and red pepper. Despite multiple follow-ups, we never received the last two. Additionally, the pasta tasted as though it had been sitting out for quite some time, it wasn’t hot and the cheesecake was dry. LAVO usually delivers great-tasting food and delicious drinks, which is why we continue to come back, but last night, they were simply 🗣️OFF! ALL AROUND!

    Overall, disappointing. I had made a small request for my girlfriend’s birthday online. Our server had no idea it was her birthday, and my request to be seated away from the crowds was ignored. We sat at a very small table with little to no room for plates and or wine glasses. Will not be going here for any special occasion again.

    It was good. We had reservations but due to the crowd we waited 20mins before they seated us. Only thing I would recommend is to accommodate of modifying the food. People have dietary restrictions and it’s understood sauces cannot be modified but at least the option to change the meat option.

    It took a very long time. We actually had to cancel part of our meal because we were going to be late to our evening entertainment. The waitress was very nice, though, and deducted a bit from our bill. I was also served meat without a knife, and it took so long to get one that my date was almost done with her dish before I got started on mine!

    Disappointed with this place. At least the food was good quality. The service was not up to standard as I thought it would be because it’s well known restaurant inside one of the palazzo. We got sat at 1:15pm for brunch. We ordered fairly quick or as fast as we could when the server actually came back. Yes it was busy in there but no one really pay attention to any details. Didn’t get drinks for like 20-25mins and never got the complete drink order because missing a cocktail that didn’t come til around 45mins after. The food was the worst part on timing. even if the server put in the food at 1:30 which we gave the order before that the first course didn’t show up until 2:18pm. Just for the first course of cold items that’s ridiculous because the server said he would course it out but maybe that wasn’t done correctly but I’m not sure if it was the server or just the kitchen backed up because all the tables around us got all their food before we did when we sat first which is annoying. We had a 12 and 2 year old with us and they didn’t get food until an hour later basically. Would I go back again, no. Will I recommend this place to people, not really. Really sucks because expensive restaurants on the strip like this and they do so much volume of people and they don’t really care about the actual service. It’s upsetting to go to place that’s not up to standards on service I could go to broken yolk and have breakfast way faster and better service and spend way less.
