   We booked via Open a table as per the usual process We arrived on time to discover the place was closed without any further notice and we had to find to find a new place in late evening... Not good

   We booked Republic weeks in advance on Open Table to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We were really looking forward to it. Imagine our surprise when we showed up at our reservation time on a Saturday night to learn that they were closed for renovations. Scrambling, we were quite disappointed to see Google, OpenTable and Yelp all recommending that we go to Republic as they had spots available. Luckily we were able to get on the waitlist at San Morello and after a short while got a table. Next time just update your hours please for your business to let us know that you are temporarily closed. So I cant comment on the food, ambience etc. Looks nice from the outside...

   They aren’t even open. They say they are open on google and I was able to book a reservation on OT but get there and there is a sign on the door saying they are closed till September.

   They were closed!!!!!!! I showed up, and the restaurant wasn’t open.

   We made reservations for Republic on a weekend getaway and received confirmation from OpenTable about the booking. We drove 30 mins from our hotel to the restaurant and paid for parking. Upon walking up to the door we saw a sign that said they were undergoing a renovation and would reopen soon. We tried the door and it was locked. Please fix your website so that others do not encounter this terribly inconvenient issue.

   Rachel the hostess was very amicable and a pleasure to deal with. The waiter (whose name I forgot) was an outstanding server, knowledgable and very helpful.

   We had a wonderful time at Republic. This was our first visit post-lockdown and we were impressed with how they handled all aspects of the restaurant. Tried the chef’s tasting menu and every selection was really good. Our server (apologize for forgetting her name) was also excellent. Highly recommend that you visit soon!

    If you are a foodie, this place is for you. The Chef's tasting menu is $60 per person. Try it and you will enjoy unique foods and flavors. Every course was delicious.
