We arrived at this very noisy and busy location with our OpenTable confirmation in hand. We were told that as of 4 months ago, they no longer accepted OpenTable reservations. They weren’t overly apologetic, and said that one of the co-owners was working on severing ties with this site. We waited 25 minutes for a table, but at that point we were already a bit disenamoured, so the mediocre experience was just that... mediocre! This wasn’t our first visit there, but it might be our last.

Pasta is delicious, the service for a cappuccino before our lunch was slow, waitress apologized for the delay, she waiting on other tables. Took over 10 minutes for cappuccino to arrive. Meal service was prompt. Staff was busy behind the bar, putting glasses on tables, took forever to find someone to ask to for our bill.

The pizza and meatball pasta were good but there was something wrong with the noodle for the carbonara. They were stuck together and tasted brittle. The waiter said it was supposed to be like that but I highly doubt carbonara is meant to come up all together when you lift it with the fork. The service was alright. Our waitress didn’t even look us in the eye until we tipped and left. Won’t be coming back unless it’s the last restaurant in Park Royal!

Always a very enjoyable visit every visit! Our server was cheerful and very personable. We ordered Veal Scallopini Marsala, Veal Scallopini Piccata , and Pasta Bolognese and while the dinners were very pleasing, the Veal were a touch overdone and a bit tough. For that, we took away a star. The rooftop dining area is so relaxing and quieter than the dining area below. It was an enjoyable way to spend a birthday dinner. Thank you Trattoria!!

Kitchen has to pay attention to clients requests, such as NO salad dressing, or dressing on the SIDE. We come often for brunch because we enjoy it, but every time we have a problem with the salad. This time we had 2 guests with us and the usual kitchen and servers errors were even worse. These problems should be corrected. Thank you.

The food is very tasty and the front of house staff are very welcoming. Let us wait at the bar for a table upstairs on the deck. Server was slow and seemed overworked. Not sure I'd come back to dine in but would probably take out.

My family and I usually go to the Burnaby location and it was our first time at Park Royal. Although the service was great and the bonus meatballs for booking online were really good, the rest of the food was so-so and not up to the regular standards we have come to expect from the Burnaby location. We ordered the Caesar salad, Carbonara, brussel sprouts, kids rigatoni with meatsauce and kids chicken with veggies. The portion of the carbonara was smaller than we usually have and not as tasty and the brussel sprouts' taste was not as spicy as we have expected in the past. The rigatoni pasta was too tough for my kids and the sauce was more spicey than what I think most kids would tolerate. Us parents had to help finish this dish. The service though was very good even during a busy Saturday evening.
