   An absolute neighborhood gem! Discovering Peya on Opentable, I knew nothing about the restaurant and saw that it was Indian + French fusion and was immediately intrigued. I brought two of my local friends there who haven't heard about it and we all ended up loving the experience,. Mind you, Peya was so new at the time I wrote this that it was not even on the map of Lyft / Uber! We ordered a dozen of oysters and the elk Tartare... absolutely uniquely delicious. For mains, we ordered the rabbit pilaf, lamb flat bread and cheese and potato plate and the rabbit pilaf is a standout. I forgot to mention that the cocktails are also exquisite and unique. I got the Mango Sazarec and am still thinking about it now. Enjoy Peya... what a gift to the YVR restaurant scene?

   Absolutely loved Peya! The burrata sweet potato was heavenly, and the rasam mussels with airy garlic naan were packed with flavor. Drinks were top-notch—creative and delicious thanks to JC at the bar. Service was warm and personal, with great conversation from the owner, Ashwini. A unique French-Indian fusion spot that I highly recommend!

   Mostly Indian style dishes . We are not aware that there is a French cuisine dish in our order . The rabbit dish was sold out . 2 stars for the duck .

   My first visit and it was such a pleasure Big windows lovely ambience and fabulous service The food is innovative and fantastic. We had the 72 hour marinated cornish game hen, oysters, mussels,and the samosa dish Such an interesting fusion of tastes. Think Indian flavours combined with French elegance. We had a lovely BC red wine. They have trained servers with knowledge of food and drink. Cocktails reflect the unique Indian inspired flavours. The place was packed which is a good sign. A lovely experience we both had.

   Lovely decor and ambiance full of light and nice touches. The location is great, nestled in up-and-coming Hastings sunrise. The cocktail drinks were creative and nice to look at. The food however, was inconsistent. The rabbit kebabs were tasty but the turmeric and lentil “melange” aka the daal was extremely underseasoned. The fig Samosa had a nice Philo crust, but could have done with some savoury notes. The server tried his best but was clearly out of his depth. We are rooting for this restaurant so hope it gets better with time.

   Food was deliciously spiced. Menu is light but that was fine. Portion sizes were quite different; ex ratatouille was decent size but rabbit biryani was massive! Super tasty though. The ambiance was very stylish and comfortable. Service was great.

    The food was very good and a fun twist on classic indian cuisine. We ordered the elk tartare, duck kulcha and mussels in rasam and a rabbit biryani The rabbit was a bit on the dry side but the flavours were on point. And the cocktails were super fun and delicious!
