Walk into TORC and you might notice the music. It's rock & roll, blues, or soul, and it's undeniably on. You might notice the energy — it's high. And you'll definitely notice our bar. It's busy serving well-made cocktails and pouring rare wines we're proud to say you probably won't find anywhere else by the glass. There are no white tablecloths. No dabbing the corners of your mouth. No pomp, but lots of circumstance. And perhaps the only reason you noticed the aforementioned is because you haven't tasted our food.     Last night's dinner reminded me why Torc is my favorite restaurant in Napa. The tomato salad, which is a standard on the menu when in season, was outstanding. One of the things I enjoy about this dish and others is that the components and presentation change from time to time. This version was delicious and very generous. But the main course was even better. I love morel mushrooms, and the pasta with morels was delicious. It must have had over a dozen plump mushrooms, more than I've seen in any similar dish in the US, France or anywhere else. Perfectly prepared, as were the pasta and sauce. A great Barolo by the glass was the perfect accompaniment and reasonably priced. The service was lovely and attentive, as always.

    We had an amazing time! From the bartender to our server to the manager, everyone was personable and helpful. The food was delicious. My lobster was perfectly cooked (which is hard to do in pasta) and the short rib was falling off the bone. I highly recommend stopping here for dinner.

    This was our 2nd visit to Torc and it is hands down one of the best restaurants not only in Napa but in the entire U.S. The food is amazing and consistently high quality. We have tried almost everything on the menu and everything that we have ordered is phenomenal! The service is also exceptional. The husband and wife duo is unique and their thumbprint is all over the restaurant. We will go out of way to eat here every time we visit Napa.

    Service was good but the food was not that great. We started off well with the squash blossom appetizer but went downhill from there. All three main courses were disappointing. The dessert was ok, but there is a lot of competition in Napa, and there are better choices.

    The hamachi appetizer was so good we ordered a second one. The food is such a fabulous combination of flavors. We then had the homemade pasta with lobster and the scallop dinner. So very good staff are excellent.

    Everything was absolutely amazing! The food, service, and even the accommodation to food allergies. Will definitely come back when I visit Napa again
