Liberty Entertainment Group's 2024 project in the iconic Union Station. Blue Bovine combines the traditional steakhouse with the traditional Japanese sushi house to fashion a distinctly modern dining experience. Combining custom elements, such as exclusively designed Canadian maple wood furniture, manufactured in Toronto with bespoke artwork, handcrafted lighting details, and a warm colour palette of deep reds, seawater blues and layers of white to reflect Toronto's four seasons. Honouring the integrity of local and natural elements, the restaurant's ethos is expressed both through the commitment to local menu ingredients on the plate and local and natural material honesty in the design.

    The location is great for after work drinks and the ambience is amazing. However, the dinner left a lot be to desired given the price. The food was very bland and seemed to lack any seasoning

    Address should read "61". Front St W. Currently states 65. Also need better walking directions to get to the front desk. Service was excellent Food was delicious Offerings on menu were incredible.

    I reserved a table for 5 for lunch. Two guests had the octopus and raved about it . The other three ordered sushi maki and were impressed by the quality and quality. 1st time there but will come back.

    Overpriced, corporate-feeling, and dead. Charged $10 for two glasses of still water. waiter clearly didn’t want to be there. lighting coming in from station was bothersome. food was mostly above average, but took far too long to come out, and really not worth the price point all things considered. crustini were rock hard, bread was stale, but australian beef was good and seafood “tower” (more like tasting tray) was very tasty. overall poor experience and not worth the time or money.

    Thumping DJ Mix was far too loud given the small number of people in the space. Sushi was pretty meh, steak was excellent but overpriced.

    Firstly, the service was excellent. Everyone from the front desk to the server, etc was on point. This is a steakhouse so me and my guest ordered the 22 oz bone-in Ribeye (may as well go big :) My steak was a beast! Sometimes you go to a steak house and the bone-in rib-eye is smaller or larger but these were a full 18 ozs of meat! I should have stopped at some point but I ate the whole thing as well as a baked potato and brocollini. The steaks were dry-aged and cooked perfectly. It's pretty pricey so be prepared, especially with a few glasses of wine but well worth it and a great experience.

    We had a great time on Thursday, there was a party atmosphere in the lounge area after 10pm. The sashimi was so good and the tuna tar tar was the best. Also the house martini is perfect.

    Blue Bovine was a surprise to me that I discovered yesterday for a business lunch. The service was excellent and energetic and the food was beyond my expectations. I had a burger. I wasn't aware that the term "burger" was a mere prequel to what Blue Bovine redefined it as. No burger will ever fulfill the new standard. Someone will need to change the name - either Blue Bovine makes burgers and the rest make beef patties, or the rest make burgers, and Blue Bovine makes the "Beef-Splendor Sandwich". WOW. (Oh, and the rest of the folks at the table were blown away by their steaks, sandwiches and deserts... but this isn't about THEM!)

    We celebrated my husband’s birthday with friends! We started in the lounge and enjoyed half price drinks and appetizers then moved to dining room for dinner. We ordered two sushi appetizers and USDA tomahawk and NY Striploin to share. The sushi plates are very fresh and tasty and the steaks are juicy and tender. The cocktails and wines we ordered were great. The services were excellent and we enjoyed every moment of our dinner! Will definitely come back again!
