This was our first time here and we were celebrating our sons 20th birthday - we were a party of 7. The food was outstanding, menu choices were great and everything came out to perfection. The service however was horrible. This could be because it was a Sunday night but we had 3 different servers of which none seemed to take ownership of our table. We had to consistently call them to our table to place drink orders, food orders, etc. The music and overall vibe of the restaurant otherwise was phenomenal.

Should be a disclaimer on the website "that the weekends are dedicated/designated for the youth" When my group was leaving, I mentioned to the hostess that, the music was too loud. That's when we were told about the weekend DJ. Would not have booked if we were aware of that. We were a group of six. Our conversation was non-existent because of the loud music. Our table was at the very back. Limited, confined space. Should not be a space - at least not for 6. The head server was not warm, not friendly. Went through the motions. No interaction from the other servers - they moved, replaced the dishes and wiped the tables. Robotic. The food was okay but it's not always about the food. It's about the event, having dinner and spending a pleasant, enjoyable outing with family and friends.

Food was great and servers were attentive but the nightclub level volume of the music made for an uncomfortable experience. Could not really enjoy conversation with the people we were with because we could not hear each other. Made for a lacklustre night

Found an amazing restaurant during our ventures today in Toronto! We went to @misslikklemores in downtown Toronto and the food was outstanding. Caribbean-inspired cuisine… we had Oysters with two house made sauces that were so flavorful (we put it on other stuff too), Cheddar Biscuits with whipped jalapeño honey butter, Fried Rock Shrimp, Plantain Chips with a chili-lime salt, Nuff Nuff Salad (25 fresh ingredient salad featuring compressed pear, jicama, kohlrabi, peanuts, papaya vinaigrette, and crispy taro), Daily Grilled Filet which was Branzino, Snow Crab with XO Sauce and Crab Risotto, Coconut Rice, and finished with a Passionfruit Tart! Definitely a must visit in the Toronto Area!

We went for Sunday brunch. The table and ambience were good. With the name Miss Likklemore’s we went with the expectation to be Caribbean food with a Downtown City fusion. I had the Shrimp Grits which was cooked well i just wasn’t personally wow’d by it. That could just be a me thing. My partner had the oxtail hash, which she said needed more seasoning in the prep room to bring out the flavour of the oxtail. Unfortunately we did find a piece of aluminum foil in her plate towards the end. We understand it wasn’t purposely or maliciously done . It was addressed by our server quickly. Our server was very kind and courteous throughout our experience there, no issues whatsoever. My suggestions: ‘Likklemore’ the term is from Jamaican roots, and I’d like to see and hear that musically within the restaurant a bit more. Doesn’t have to be loud music or anything of that sort. Would just like more of a Carib feeling. A little more love needs to go into the preparation of the food. Visually it was appealing, very much so. Taste wise I know the bar can be raised. Would I go back? Possibly for the dinner menu to see what that experience is about but just not anytime soon.
