The lobster roll and fries were delicious. The blue crab tagliatelle was very bland. Super cute vibe downstairs but the bathroom was absolutely disgusting.

The Hamachi Crudo was so good we ordered it twice and the lobster roll is the best in Boston (the fries are pretty outrageously delicious too!)!

We love the shared plates and raw bar options at Little Whale and always get helpful suggestions from the staff on a wine to pair with our selections. The place can get loud and crowded but has great ambience.

The place has a casual vibe, this was a reason we picked it for a brunch. However, the prices are over the top for a day time meal. My lobster roll was $70 including tips and tax, and it was just ok. Fries with it were too dry. So food wise I won’t come here again. If this meal was $40 I’d give this place another chance but not for $70. Service was efficient.

Came for the lobster roll, and left happy. Nice cozy location on Newbury, and it seemed that locals were there to enjoy the food too.

The lobster roll was exceptional. It was full of fresh lobster that was cooked perfectly. This restaurant is a neighborhood gem that shouldn’t be missed.
