DUNE by Laurent Tourondel is South Florida’s only celebrity chef-driven oceanfront restaurant and special event venues able to accommodate social, corporate gatherings, beachfront weddings, and other special occasions from 10 - 500 people with customized menus by Chef Laurent Tourondel in addition to oceanfront meetings and events. A private wine room is available by reservation in addition to semi-private and private spaces and dining rooms with full audio/visual and sound capabilities for seamless presentations.

The restaurant is gorgeous and sitting outside on a beautiful night was amazing. Service however was not coordinated. We received our meals about 10 minutes before we were served our glasses of wine, which I don’t understand for a restaurant of this caliber. The food was good but not outstanding and my fish was lukewarm. Lunch here is outstanding; dinner just ok.

Service was abysmal. They were out of every wine I wanted to order. Water glass was always empty. Server was really slow (place was not busy). I’ve been a couple times in my travels to Fort Lauderdale and it gets worse every time. I’m officially done with Dune. Go to a better place like Takato or Vitolo.
