   I guess I had higher expectations or perhaps completely misjudged when I was reading about this restaurant. I thought the place would be packed since there were articles about the brunch. However, we were the only people there for the first half hour for an 11 AM brunch, and two more tables sat down by 12 noon. The service was good, but the food was so-so, depending on what was ordered. The prices were fairly high (too high) for what was served., especially for a brunch menu. This was meant to be a special occasion for my father‘s 80th birthday, who has been cooking Filipino food for over six decades for his family. Unfortunately, our experience fell flat.

   Love this place! The miso cauliflower is delicious! I also love the crunchy surf and turf roll. This roll keeps me coming back to Sunda. We had a great waiter too!

   It was a great experience with an enthusiastic server. The food was delicious and we enjoyed it. I just hope you’ll give great deals with your loyal customers specially who take time to give you great reviews.

   Food and atmosphere consistently deliver. Wagyu Crispy Rice is a must. Love this place.

   Great service and staff, food is somewhat excessive on price for what you get. It’s good, but I left wanting else from it. Some of the dishes were a little much, like they were trying too hard. The cauliflower was the best dish on the menu, that was a 10/10 which I did not expect. The rest were solid but nothing to write home about. I’d go again if the meal was paid for by corporate for example.

   The ambiance was superb. The service was excellent. The cocktails were delicious. The food: I have to say the we were overwhelmed with how underwhelming the food was. Nothing wrong with the food but it just ordinary. I understand that there’s only so much that can be done with an avocado, and I probably expected something unreasonable, but I did anticipate a different take on my dish. My wife’s chicken scramble was good but a bit plain; the spinach salad accompaniment was delicious. Presentation was great.

   This is the second time we’ve been to Sunda and this experience was just as good as the first. The first time we got drinks and a couple appetizers and were full enough that we didn’t need any more food. This time around we got cocktails, the beef lolipops app and several rounds of sushi. The sushi was phenomenal and we were stuffed. Service in the bar area at the high top tables was great even though they were packed. We’ll be back a third time to try some main courses!

   Drew (GM) and Jeremy (Waiter) were absolutely amazing! We had a larger party and they moved a lot of tables around to accommodate us, as we had a bunch of people from out of town. The food, drinks, and service were amazing! Jeremy absolutely nailed it! His suggestions were ON POINT! Amazing experience all the way around.

    We had a great meal at Sunda! Loved each item we ordered - jalapeno hamachi, oxtail potstickers, seaweed salad and Szechwan chicken. We also had a couple of interesting and delicious cocktails - saketini and strawberry fields. Our service was great and food was brought out quickly. Nice vibe in the restaurant and beautiful decor. Music was a little louder than I would have liked, but not a significant issue. Will definitely be back.
