We were so looking forward to this evening and restaurant only to have everything go astray. Our waitress was fine, knowledgeable and timely in the beginning. To get right to the issue they have different staff deliver the meals and supposedly the main wait staff checks back once the meals are delivered. One of our meals was not what was ordered, and even though we told the wait staff several times he still left the wrong meal at our table. We waited too long for someone to come get the meal, for the waitress to check on the table, while telling my husband to begin eating his meal. We finally stopped a wait staff that was not even waiting on our table. He immediately took the meal and we waited again. While my husband tried desperately to eat slow. Which was causing friction between us because I thought we would be eating together. Finally our waitress returned, told us that the meals had been delivered to the wrong table, even though one meal was correct. Explaining that the other meal was being prepared, but it will take a little time. You have to wonder who got that meal? So when the meal(s) were delivered they brought my husbands second meal plate as well. Asking us if we would like to take it with us. Unfortunately we were going to the Theater and couldn’t possibly take a meal with us. Then the manager got involved and apologized, the waitress apologized and I ate very fast not really enjoying my meal or this experience. They ended up complementing my meal which they should have done anyway. So will we go back? Would we recommend? Yes to both of these questions but not immediately.

Celebrating my friend's birthday at Reserve could not have been lovelier. Our server, Andrew, was attentive and informative, and graced us with a birthday dessert. The ambiance was calm, yet there's an energy at Reserve that is exciting and fresh.

My husband and I dined at Reserve on a Saturday night before going to the theater. I ordered the duck breast for my entree. Ten minutes later our server returned to say that they had a special party that evening and they were "saving" the duck for them. This left me feeling like I wasn't special to them. I would have rather been told they were "out" of the dish than to have been told I wasn't special enough to order this dish. Kinda put a sour note on the meal. Ended up ordering the fish special - calamari sautéed with tomatoes, olives, capers and croutons. It was very good. Our appetizer was lamb meatballs that were good buy could have been more tender.

Steak came med rare when ordered well done Seafood linguine arrived without any shrimp. The manager did remove the cost of one entree from bill. Just frustrating bc we had limited time bc my guest was an actress that needed to eat in between shows at the DeVos Performing Arts center.

Exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable serving staff made our dining experience truly enjoyable. Our group chose several dishes from the shareable offerings and were delighted with every single one of them. Fantastic wine selection. Highly recommend!
