Best steak I may have ever had in my life. Tomahawk A5 from Japan. Super expensive. But OMG. And I don’t say these words lightly. I am usually VERY critical.

I have sent a note on the reservation to say THANK YOU to our guest. The reception didn't do that. We ordered Flatbread appetizer and other main courses. We got our main course but appetizer never showed up. Later we cancelled the appetizer order. One of our guest order from the PrixFix lunch menu. He also ordered coffee after main course. They forget so serve him the dessert and served him coffee. We had to ask the server for his fruit platter. I felt the dining experience was a not worthy for the $423 we have spent.

I'd recommend it to a friend who kept Kosher. The service was nice and they gave us sparkling white wine because I noted we were celebrating in the reservation.

Best high end kosher restaurant in New York. Service is incomparable. The high level complete confident staff make sure you are completely taken care of. There are many unique options on the menu such as the Braised beef cheeks which is absolutely delicious. The stakes are on the next level. The perfect balance between soft and tasty that's also extremely savery. I would recommend the stakes sauces to add a extra boost of flavor. The deserts are a perfect ending to the meal that make sure you are absolutely satisfied. Reserve cut is a great place to enjoy yourself and enjoy those your with by making you as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend going.

This was my 3rd trip within the last 3 months to Reserve Cut. The first time I got the salmon filet with crispy quinoa and it was good. Second trip, and yesterday's I ordered the steakhouse salad. Both times it was off and meat was very undercooked. I normally go medium rare, but went medium to be safe both times - still undercooked. The watercress "salad" is nothing more than a rushed side that feels like a last minute side just covering real estate of your plate.

Place is nice, the workers will come over 5-7 times, then the manager to ensure you're satisfied with the service. Food hasn't proven to be fabulous, or even decent for that matter. No more business meetings here, I'll save myself the $200 lunch expense.

From the moment we walked in, my friend and I were treated very special. We got to the restaurant early so we ha D.A. drink at the bar. All three bartenders could not have been more nice. One of the bartenders even made me an off the menu cocktail.

Our waitress was very friendly and was always stopping by our table to see if we needed anything. No request was too big!

The food was delicious . I ordered the ribs as an appetizer and they practically melted off the bone! My lamb was made to perfection. They also have an outstanding wine list

While the restaurant is far from inexpensive, it is definitely worth going to. I highly recommend it.

Very very very expensive and they charged for a coffee refill. Totally insulting, obnoxious, and ridiculous and I will never go back because of this. They lost a lifetime customer over a nickel.

It was my moms birthday. And one of her friends recommended Reserve Cut to her. The food was absolutely fantastic. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The ambience In the restaurant was like no other I’ve ever seen before in a kosher establishment. Both my mom and I were extremely impressed by that. They had this beautiful wine hallway with all glass doors. With all these fancy wine bottles inside that you can look at. Anybody that goes there. I would definitely recommend taking photos in that wine hallway area!!! Our waiter was super nice and even laughed at my moms jokes that aren’t really that funny. Very polite. I would definitely recommend this place to others! It may be a little pricy but considering the quality of steak you are getting and the fanciest of the restaurant. Totally 100% worth every penny !!

What a retreat! I had the prefix menu option and everything was delicious especially the striped bass.
Honestly more then expected considering the 39$ promotion.
My friend had a very nice truffle sushi and a delicious chicken salad.
The restaurant is very elegant and the server was friendly and attentive.
Manager came buy couple of times to check on us and they sent complimentary dessert for my friend birthday.
Reserve Cut is definitely a place to go!!

Over rated, midway into our romantic dinner after brushing off the waiter's arrogant attitude towards us, an executive of restaurant turn on the TV to watch a basketball game with total disregard to the patron couples trying to have romantic dinner.

I asked the waiter or assistant to tell the manager to shut it down and his reply was "sorry sir, he's one of the owners" and was ashamed to ask. Someone ended up turning volume down but the TV was bright as the sun.

We asked for medium rare and got medium well saying that's what we ordered.

This restaurant is extremely over rated.

Truthfully this place is not worth the hype. The server was horrible, the food was mediocre at best. We ordered two steaks both medium well, one came out medium rare and one came out well done. Don’t waste your time coming here, there is better steak options elsewhere.

Rib eye was probably the highest quality piece of meat I have ever had (it was the regular usda prime cut). Absolutely delicious. There wasn’t a big seer or crust on it though, which I usually prefer but it wasn’t an error, I think it’s just the style. Perfectly cooked to rare. They are definitely up to par on skill in the kitchen.

Truffle fries and broccoli rob were very good too.

We shared a rainbow roll which was good but probably not $24 good.

The only real disappointment was the wine. I tried three red wines and they all were unimpressive. The waiter who took our drink order was not helpful. I told him I was looking for a dry red and his response was “they are all dry” and then an awkward silence. So I just picked one and tried two more. I don’t know if maybe kosher wine selection is limited but I wouldn’t order wine here ever again.

Overall it’s a great place, the food itself was very good. I think the value is there as the meat is concerned. Since it’s a kosher place everyone knows you’re going to pay a bit more. Since the meat was the best quality I’ve had it’s easy to justify the extra.

I took a look at the scotch list which was okay. The scotch prices were ridiculous though. Easily 20% more than any other place. It’s almost like they took normal steakhouse prices and added 20% across the board on food and drink. Them buying a bottle of laphroaig is going to cost the exact same as any other place buying the same bottle (which can’t be said for the kosher meat which has the added value) so charging $20 for a glass of 10 year laphroaig instead of the standard $14/$16 isn’t right. I was disappointed to see some price gouging on booze.

I would go back again, skip the wine, and deal with the inflated scotch prices.

BUYER BEWARE

Good restaurant with good ambience and sub-par service. I ordered a steak which was cooked very well and tasted great. However, the service was not perfect because of an issue my fiancé had when ordering.

After ordering two specific sushi rolls my fiancé was brought two rolls which she did not order. She asked for two cooked rolls, which the server said was fine, but apparently they could not prepare them as asked, and rather than tell us that, the server brought us the closest thing- raw fish. Had my fiancé known that the cooked fish could not be provided, she would have ordered something else.

Even though our server recognized that she did not bring what my fiancé ordered, noticed her displeasure, and then tried to justify why she brought us two items that we didn’t order without asking if it was okay first, she did not offer to correct the order. She was very unapologetic and I believe that reflected her lack of respect for us as customers. As this dinner was in celebration of our engagement that occurred earlier that evening, my fiancé asked me to not make a fuss about it.

I find this unusual for a restaurant of this quality as restaurants normally would correct their mistake. Given that this was a special occasion and that we spent so much on this dinner, we expected to be treated better and perhaps shown that we were respected as customers.
