Reposado Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Came for Valentine’s Day. Food? Amazing. Get the crepas del mariscos (may be butchering that- aka the seafood crepes). They were AMAZING. service amazing. Dad, attentive, everything. Decor is fantastic. Will come again. Boyfriend loves it too. THANK YOU for a fabulous dinner Reposado!
We went there for an early dinner for Valentines Day because some of the other places we wanted to go were booked out. I am very glad that we went there. The service was great, so was the food and wine. We created our own menue with a string of appetizers and side dishes and a desert. All was very good and just the right amount of food.
Now, sure we’ll go there again!
I enjoy Reposada and have gone there many enjoyable times since it first opened. Because it is quite noisy (presumably by design), I usually request a booth, which is much quieter, and typically am able to get one. For my last meal, there was an open booth, and nobody waiting, but we were told they had saved the booth for someone else, so we were seated in the noiser open area.
Consistently good. The guacamole is crazy. Crazy. And then you have the dilemma of what to order? What I got last time? Branch out? So hard! Short ribs, the pork - it's just all too good. The special margaritas vary quite a bit in price so should always double check but still delish!
The appetizers were fair but the entree - the seafood crepes - arrived late and was cold. They quickly returned and though now hot, the seafood (crab, shrimp, & fish) was somehow all mashed together, not seasoned well, and "fishy" tasting - no fresh flavors. We'll never go back.
The food is quite good, very flavorful, service was fast and efficient. Unfortunately every meal here is either a shouting match or a rush to leave because the noise level is unbearable. Apparently this is appreciated by a lot of people because there is always a crowd, and I understand that vibe sells. But a serious effort to dampen the noise would leave plenty of vibe and combined with the good food would make for a much better restaurant.
The food was sub par overpriced for excellent food it was not. We ordered the pork chop which served nearly raw waited for 15 minutes to get the attention of staff who were everywhere doing nothing but ignoring the diners. Our chop was reheated and thrown on the plate mashing the sides on the plate. We wanted more drinks but glasses were swept away, with no opportunity to reorder. The chicken mole was inder whelming most Mexican dives do it much better. We were anxious to leave but waited an additional 15 minutes to get a bill breathtakingly overpriced. Stay away go to Taco Bell much better food at 1/20th the price
The restaurant was uncomfortably noisy. I would go to a bar if I need that type of environment but not while I am having a nice meal.
There was nothing about the food which warranted the amount that they are charging. I have had much better Mexican food at other places at half the price with a decent ambiance.
Complimentary chips/salsa is a norm in most Mexican restaurants, but not here. You have to shell out $7 for a tiny bowl of chips with average salsa.
Repasado markets themselves as a fine dining restaurant but the ambiance and the quality of the food did not match with other similar places which we have been too.
The drinks and ambiance were wonderful but the be honest the food was a big let down. Everything was pretty bland and the quality of meat was not good at all. We felt like for the price it should have been much better. You can get much better Mexican food for much less. We will probably not return.
Great tasty food!!! Seriously some of the best upscale Mexican food I have ever had, but it is pretty pricey. It’s going to be around $50 per person for an appetizer and entree. Cheapest entree is $29, most expensive is $49, most of them are around $34. We had a party of four, everyone got an entree and we split guacamole and chips ($14!!!!) and everyone paid around $43. Super good food, just it’s a bit pricey. Service is good.
