Reposado Restaurant

I eat here often, and for good reason. It is absolutely delicious. Ask for Daniel. He'll treat you RIGHT. Actually, every wait person I have had is first rate. The sauces are the best I have ever tasted. I cannot get over the deliciousness. I want to take a bath in it.

We went there for Thanksgiving and were very pleased with the meal. It was sidewalk seating, of course, so "ambience"and "noise level" aren't fair categories for ratings. The food was delicious and he service was attentive and helpful.

Some of the best food I've ever eaten. My cousin and I are regulars. It's pricey stuff, but it is well worth it if you're foodie. Absolutely delicious. The sauces are especially delectable.

This was our first visit to Reposado and we will DEFINITELY return! The waitstaff were kind and attentive; they guided us to some excellent main courses (short rib enchilada and chicken pibil) and an amazing apertivo called fig relleno. The guacamole was rich and delicious. Wow! We caught a nice evening in Palo Alto, so chose to eat outside, flanked by two elegant heaters. We were warm and well-fed. We'll be back!!

Our server, who claimed to be in his second day, was incredible. My wife has food restrictions, including no shellfish. He returned to the table to inform us that the oil used for the chips is the same as that used to cook shrimp and offered her fresh tortillas as a substitute. That kind of attention to customer needs deserves praise!

Great outdoor happy hour! The mescal margaritas are amazing with a side of guac! Outdoor dining is so much fun.

It was different and the food was amazing because we’re going through navrati which is Hindu prayer time and they were able to make us vegetarian food

Relaxing dinner out on the sidewalk on a beautiful warm Friday night. The service was friendly and the timing relaxed so we could enjoy. The appetizers delicious. Loved the ahi and the shrimp dishes.

We arrived at 6:55 for our 7:00 reservation and were told that they needed to clear our table. After waiting for 15 minutes in the street, we realized that there were no available tables. The staff weren't particularly friendly and didn't apologize for the inconvenience. We eventually left and went to a competing restaurant down the street.

Loved it. The food is authentic and great tastes!

Outside ambience is not the same as inside - still great food and place!

Maybe it wasn't a fair time to try being the first day they reopened... but we found both the food and service very underwhelming. It was our first time here, geft certificate from a friend,, sadly we didn't see a reason to retun.

The carmel banana cake was amazing. Everything else not so much.

Food was amazing, but seating outside without umbrellas or shade was terrible! We would ordered more but we couldn’t handle the heat & sun in our faces!

The outdoor seating has absolutely no shade. That combined with alcohol and spice with slow service is less than optimal.

Great food, great drinks, fun atmosphere, wonderful service. Why go anywhere else?

My son’s favorite restaurant in Palo Alto. We celebrated his birthday here. We are never disappointed with this restaurant. Great food and drinks. The staff is really nice. We highly recommend Reposado. My tamarind margaritas are always perfect!

Overall it was a great experience, ambiance was lovely. Service was slow, it took 10 minutes after we were seated for someone to take care of us. A bus person actually took our drink order and gave us chips and salsa on the house because of the wait. After about 20 minutes our waitperson came and took our order and everything went better after that. I loved my steak and my husband said he liked his meal but did not love it. It was a very expensive evening considering we only had one drink each, shared a salad and two entrees. I would still recommend it though as the atmosphere was fun!

The food was mediocre definitely not worth the money. The cocktails were terrible

The ambience and service were great. The food left much to be desired and given the over-priced Mexican food it was actually quite bad. The food was reminensent of something you might get at Cheescake Factory though with a significant lack of flavor.

Restaurant was stifling. Not sure if the restaurant doesn’t have AC, or they didn’t want to turn it on. But made the dining experience unpleasant.

Love this place! Great food and ambiance. Don’t miss their margaritas either.

This is a go to Restuarant for us in Palo Alto. Food, Service and Atmosphere all great. We usually sit at the bar, as we did this time. The lead bartender(looks like Wolverine)- usually great - was definitely off. He was grumpy.

Food, as always was very good, as was the atmosphere.

We were a party of 10, service was excellent and food was amazing! We definitely recommend this restaurant.

Our server was also tending bar, so check in and refills were not timely.

The service was great because my server allowed me to switch out my drink because I didn’t taste the alcohol. The food was amazing and I like how they have a vegetarian menu.

We enjoyed having margarita and appetizers in the afternoon. The staff was attentive, but also let us relax and enjoy talking together with friends.

The food and drinks were outstanding. A really fresh take on Mexican. Service was rather slow though. Fairly noisy restaurant. Overall I very much enjoyed it and will return.

Wonderful food, great service, but pricey!! It’s a “happening” place in downtown Palo Alto. Would definitely go again.

Great place! Pisco Sours!

We were seated under a vent which had extremely cold air blowing on us so that I felt sick when I left. It made the food totally cold before we had a few bites. I requested for it to be turned down but was told it was on auto. It was late the restaurant was half empty & it was February 15th! I asked agin if they could turn the blower off. They did for maybe 8 minutes. Then it was on again. I spoke to manager on way out & he said I should not sit in that booth again. It ruined our night & our food.

What a fantastic meal and time we had at Reposado! Our server Victor was perfect. Always there when we needed him but never a bother. Thank you Victor! My husband and I had a great time with our son and his girlfriend thanks to the atmosphere and employees. To start we had the ceviche and pork belly appetizers along with the chips and salsas. They were all outstanding. Each had a special flavor that was unique and tasty. The octopus in the ceviche was tender and fresh.
I ordered the seafood crepes that were the best I had ever tasted. My husband had the short ribs that were amazingly perfect. My son had the pork and his girlfriend had the salmon and all were the best. We are still talking about how incredibly delicious each dish was.
We all highly recommend Reposado and if ever in the area again we will definitely be back!!!

My husband and I have been to Reposado several times...two of them on Valentine's Day. We love SO much about this place -- especially that the menu offers vegans (me) and meat-eaters (husband) solid choices. The service was a little lax this time, and it wasn't because it was Valentine's Day. We actually decided to dine early, at 4:30pm, and the place wasn't full. I think our server was just not tuned in as well as he could have been. Although I stated that I was vegan in the very beginning, he didn't pick up on it, and turned his attention to me to explain all the meat and fish specials. The food was outstanding and overall, we truly enjoyed our date to Reposado. :)
