We go every year on our visit to Jackson Hole and found this year that the food was not up to our usual expectations.
Visit on Feb 14, 2018. Food was good - NY steak, tenderloin and chopped salad. Came in on time and as requested - medium rare for the meat. Deserts were also good. Only thing I did not like were the noise level - we could not hear each other; tables were too close to each other - so not even a "restaurant" type of privacy and the drinks - my coctail came in an "orange juice" glass mostly full of ice... where was the coctail? Other than that, service was good - the server was attentive given that it was very, very busy.
Excellent! Everything had a unique twist that was delicious!
Great place, good food, fair prices, nice variety on the menu.
All food was amazing and great service
Dinner in Feb.’18. Interesting menu - everyone in group (6) liked their meal. Great fun.
We had a group of 10 after a day skiing in Jackson Hole. The manager was very accommodating and brought out a little snack after we had to wait on our table for the reservation. We were bummed because they were out of a few items but we had a later reservation. The food and wine selection was great!
Fried chicken was dry and pretty tasteless. Potatoes were good. Service was average.
Love the Bistro....BUT....the sea bass, they served me, was NOT good.
I have eaten a lot of sea bass......what they served me must have been
some breed I've never seen.
Nice people but the food was bad. We left and ate again somewhere else.
Hey... it's been here forever. But while other dining establishments may have come (and some have gone), RB keeps doing an excellent job. A great and varied menu. Our whole party really loved it. If you have forgotten about the Bistro, it is time to rediscover.
My favorite restaurant in the area. Staff was fabulous and the food was delicious. Had a group of eight and everyone was very happy with their meal choice.
After coming to the Bistro for many years, we found the current menu and the food quite disappointing. Only one vegetarian option for the entrees, and the "daily special" has disappeared. The fried chicken was as good as ever, but the salad (artichoke hearts and feta cheese) and other entrees (duck confit, cod, and mac & cheese) were average at best. No pasta option on the entrée menu.
We had a "dinner for 2" gift certificate. I had scallops (nice sauce, fresh spinach) and Peter had Duck Confit (dry, not much taste, but red cabbage was good). We had calamari for an appetizer. You get a very large serving (would have done OK for 4) but I felt they were over-breaded. I guess what I dislike is the noise level. We got there at 5:30 so it took a while to fill up - but when we have been there at prime time the 2-person tables are so close together that you are a part of your neighbor's (usually silly or stupid) conversation. We are locals, and do not go to the Bistro more than 2x/yr. because of that.
Eric was awesome!!
We haven’t been here for several years but came back as we had a memorable dinner previously. Excellent cocktails. Solid wine selection. Food was impeccable and we had attentive service. We’ll return.
We live coming the Bistro and this trip was great too! My husband Always orders the meatloaf and it never disappoints. Oysters were fantastic too. And I must say, our waiter was great with the kids!
Monkfish was fabulous. Everything was wonderful from start to finish.
The service was attentive and kind. They had a really good vegan entree option.
The food and the service were excellent.
