We had an excellent meal it was actually our first Thanksgiving ever going out to eat because all family could not be together so we chose the Renault Winery because we had Easter dinner there wants time which is excellent Thanksgiving was excellent we really enjoyed it the food was perfect the atmosphere was perfect the price was very reasonable and we are looking forward to coming back for an everyday dining experience we really enjoyed ourselves and we thank you happy holidays and good health to all of you
Our Thanksgiving meal was really wonderful. Enjoyed everything about it. Our Thanksgiving meal was really wonderful. Enjoyed everything about it. The food was fantastic. Ambiance was absolutely gorgeous
My husband and I had brunch here prior to the start of our wine tour, after spending the night at the hotel across the street. The brunch provided a nice selection of foods from fruit, deli, cheese, dessert, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. The food was checked by the chef constantly and turned over quickly and did not lay around. It was fresh and delicious and the wait staff was attentive and professional. The decorum was interesting and kept us entertained. The cost was reasonable and we were not rushed through our meal.
We went to the Gourmet Restaurant for their brunch nothing impressive. Run down and nothing that warrants a $25.99 per person price. I could have went to the diner and spent $25 bucks for both of us, never mind a $50 bill for an omelet. I say pass on this place.
My wife and I had a wonderful time. Our recommendation is to have the exterior pond cleaned up. Walking in makes the place look bad. Years ago, there were ducks who swam in that pond and it was pleasant to stay outside.
Also, the menu shown on the website indicates more food choices than was actually available at the brunch.
Amazing omelet bar, deserts so so. Lunch selection interesting. Hit or miss on taste. Choice of beverages excellent.
We went for Sunday brunch to celebrate our mothers birthday. The staff was very friendly and attentive. All the food was delicious, and blueberry champagne punch was a big favorite! My mom had a great time.
Brunch food was pretty basic bad not enough option.
Not lot of organization and no menu for make to order food.
My family enjoy going to Renualt because we had our daughters reception there. The food and service is always excellent.
We dined at Renault Winery for their Sunday Brunch. The food was very good and fresh. The Blueberry Champagne Punch was delightful and a nice addition to the more usual Mimosa with brunch although they had that as well. Our server was attentive and personable. In short, we loved everything about it and would highly recommend it.
Sunday brunch - good food - great value.
Did the wine tour /tasting too. great wines! Interesting - fun for 21+.
Corporate owned... Buildings need some upkeep.
Renault has always stood out as a fab brunch or dinner restaurant. Although it was good...it was not great.
The made to order waffles, pancakes and omelets were excellent. The service was excellent. All staff were warm and welcoming.
The buffet food was somewhat dried out. The dessert options were very dry.
The food was mediocre and the room decor was outdated. The dim lights made me uncomfortable, I was questioning how clean everything was. The food was poor catering hall quality at best.
Very casual restaurant with a quite bar. Food was average but service was great, grabbing a bottle of homemade wine made at Renault was only $19, great value.
Graduation brunch reservations for 12. Service was great. We weren't rushed. Food was excellent- huge selection of food- and the wine punch was great too.
Pleasant facility, pleasant people, good food and beautiful setting. Overall great way to spend a special day in a unique setting.
The food was awesome fish chicken beef hot and cold wine punch also did tour of winery and purchased wine from gift shop there is a hotel on site and another restaurant We will go back again
A once great spot for Sunday brunch is a shadow of its former self. Food is still ok but the selection is meager.
We had an excellent Valentines dinner. Food and service was awesome.
Went for Valentines Day, prix fixe menu. Very romantic, dark lighting, service was spot on. Water tasted like it was from water fountain, and the food was pretty good. I thought the food would be better, but nothing to complain about.
The staff was great. Especially a young man named "T". he was always nice and very attentive----
Four of us had brunch at Renault Winery. The buffet was very good, the omelet station left something to be desired. All in all, I would recommend this brunch.
For a christmas gift, I treated 5 friends to brunch at the renault winery. Everyone had a wonderful time. Great food and so many selections to choose from. Grounds are beautiful and even in January, we took time to walk outside and enjoy the day.
The restaurant was great. The food, service and ambiance was special. No wait and everybody
there was friendly and courteous. It was family friendly. The staff were knowledgeable and
Our server was excellent and our birthday girl was so pleased with everything. We enjoyed the food and the service.
The brunch is outstanding. Food is excellent. Atmosphere is great. Would recommend a booth if available. Includes champagne and wine.
Food ranged from mediocre to terrible when we had brunch at "Gourmet Restaurant." Years ago dinner there was amazing. Those are bygone days.
There is a very steep, curvy ramp up into the restaurant - hard to push a wheelchair but my mom (99 and fit) got up it with her walker. Staff very friendly, the proprietor came to chat with us when he heard the occasion of our visit was her 99th birthday. Brunch cost is low, so it's a good value, with omelet station, hot bar, great selection of salads and sweets. But nothing fancy, no oysters, no carved ice figures - which makes it affordable enough that I'd go more often if I lived nearby. Kind of low lighting, not ideal for elderly, but perfect for romance. the decor is very interesting
We went to Sunday brunch. I would definitely recommend and would do it again. We were a party of 10 with several kids and everyone enjoyed it. Food and service was great!
The food and service was good. The amount of food was very disappointing for a buffet brunch.
The buffet brunch was lacking in light, quality, ambience, and service. The restaurant is very dark, the buffet did not have adequate lighting, so it was hard to see the choices, and the food was not the best- sorry to say.
My wife and I were married there 16 years ago. We had not been been there in a long while, but when we returned it brought back many great memories. The Renault Winery still happens to be a magical place.
Haven't been to the restaurant since their Bankruptcy filing but it was a disappointment. $3 Mimosas were pleasant. The complimentary Champagne Punch was pleasant at the first sip but had an unpleasant finish. This was surprising because we enjoyed the Champagne Punch in prior years and Renault is a Winery. For the first hour, the Carving Station had 2 cold, chewy and tasteless remnants that were eventually replaced. The Brunch Buffet was mostly composed of carbs (several flavored with cilantro if that is to your taste). The Caprese Salad was a high spot but the absence of a tossed salad and the absence vegetables will certainly be a downside for Vegetarians. The Bread Pudding was dry as there was no Vanilla, Caramel or any other type of sauce. We were looking forward to Pate with Renault's Cabernet Jelly (mentioned on their on-line Sunday Brunch Menu) but it wasn't available yesterday. The high point was that the cost was only $24 per person.
Brunch includes cooked to order entrees from the kitchen, omelette and carving station and buffet of breakfast & lunch entrees, sides, and desserts. I ordered French toast from the kitchen- it was a nutty bread like zucchini bread fried, but I didn't notice the egg? And topped with whipped cream. Loved it. DH got the key lime pancakes but said he didn't notice lime flavor. Most dishes on buffet were repeats of the last time we visited, but still very good. I have dreamed about the bacon which was cooked perfectly. Stuffed clams -the best I've had. A lot of variety of hot and cold dishes. But when it fills up, it can feel pretty noisy and the line is long
Despite reservations and lots of open table when we arrived, we were elated close to the lavatories which made for a lot of traffic and commotion at out end of the room.
Out server was fantastic and had a good sense of humor.
This was my first time back to the winery for brunch after many years and it still doesn't disappoint. This is a buffet with carving/omelet stations, as well as, selections from the kitchen. The portions are perfectly small allowing the opportunity to sample many things and go back for your favorites. I've always loved the dining room and this was the first time I was seated in a booth made from an old wine barrel. It was secluded and romantic. Our server, Francine was attentive and friendly... her service was spot on. We followed up with a tour of the winery and a tasting... it was a lot of fun and informative! Definitely would recommend this as a Sunday afternoon outing.
Delicious in a beautiful space!
Loved every bit of it!!!! Highly recommend and we plan to go again. The food, the service and the view was great! The wine was definitely worth trying as well.
We usually love the brunch, but it was not the same experience this time. Very crowded, poor service--the waitress forgot to put my order in, came late. The beverage jugs were close to empty the whole time we were there. We got there at 11:30. We had to wait a long time for the waitress to come around for the payment. She didn't check on us during the meal. The entrees were not as usual, not a good selection. My bananas foster French toast tasted like gingerbread, so I did not eat it. I requested a booth at reservation, but we were seated at a table, very uncomfortable with people walking around you while you are eating. The omelet maker/carver was excellent. Salads and desserts were good.
We recently went to brunch at Renault Winery for the first time in about 5 years. In that time there have been notable changes.
Made to Order items have been reduced from a menu of about 7 to three and an omelette station. I opted for the made to order carrot cake pancakes-- I would come back for these alone. This was a serving of two smallish pancakes- which is the only bad thing I will say about them. The rest of my party went for omelette a and the carving station, which had just roast beef. In the past there were usually two items there.
The rest was as I remember it. Some interesting cold items like tomato slices topped with mozzarella and basil and Italian ham, amassing desserts (chocolate mousse!) and a mix of breakfast and lunch hot dishes. Everything is good and beautiful.
The service was terrific- friendly and attentive.
The Renault Winery Gourmet Restaurant has always been a favorite of ours and well worth the 35+ mile drive. The brunch was delicious with no shortage of culinary delights. The staff was courteous and attentive. My wife and I remain optimistic about weekend dinners returning to the Gourmet Restaurant. The food and ambiance was second to none.
