Renato's boasts a prime location in Palm Beach, complemented by its inviting ambiance. The convenience of valet service, on a back street, is a thoughtful touch. We found the service staff attentive and genuine. However, our dining experience was overshadowed by the quality of our entrees. My wife's duck was unfortunately overcooked, resulting in a dry texture. Similarly, my pasta with sausage lacked the flavor I was hoping for. Despite Renato’s positive attributes, I would be hesitant to return for another meal.

First time trying this place, from the looks of it, we thought this place would be high end fine dining. Service was a bit strange, we never had a waiter/waitress, it was 5 different people throughout the night so we never really knew who to ask for service. Definitely confusing. We ordered the rigatoni alla vodka but never received, the other food was good but not stellar or reason for returning. Desert was very good. A bit of a let down considering the location and looks for the place.

yes with a caveat --- the food is not all excellent (as in every single dish) as was our expectation given the location and overall price.... in my humble opinion, i would mark 5 stars if absolutely each ordered item was amazing. this was not true. The foigras appetizer recommended by the server (it was our first time to the restaurant) was not good. also, the filet mignon entree was not amazing - it was slightly dry and not enough juice, sauce. also, the asparagus on the plate with the filet mignon was soft. in addition the side item was heavily deep fried and in my opinion didnt rise to the price point of the dish overall. The dover sole was excellent. However, due to the mixed luck with the chosen dishes (lead by the servers) the overall rating was not stellar. Aside from the focal point of food, the service from the valet to the restaurant in the rain was AMAZING. An umbrella was held and i was helped to the seat. however, my poor husband was ignored completely. Therefore, overall i would say this restaurant has some inconsistencies in excellence but showing promise.

Lovely restaurant, terrific ambience, and excellent service, but average to slightly above food. The Caesar salad was tasteless, the pappardelle with veal and morels had good ingredients, but somehow was not really flavorful. The mussels on the other hand were excellent. Worth another try.

Authentic as you’ll find in Palm Beach. Tremendous experience from start to finish. I had the veal chop and cooked to perfection. Our entire’s party dishes was wonderful. Only thing I would change is the cocktail glasses. Go wide on the glass on the vodka tonic drinks vs slender glasses. Will be returning for sure.
