This was such a nice find. The staff and greater were great. Made us a cute bottle for our reservation and the waitress was a delight. The blue cheese pork chop was cooked perfectly and my boyfriend loved his wagyu burger .
Food was decent but service was bad. We waited 25 minutes with an empty glass of water and wine, they also kept telling us they were bringing us bread and never did. It seemed to us they were more worried about the standings that come every Saturday night then us. We were here 2 years ago for New Year’s Eve and the service was awful then to. We waited and hour and 15 minutes for a table when we had a reservation . We thought maybe things have changed but I guess not. We will not be returning.
This popular Manasquan bar and restaurant is always jumping on the weekend. The as always is excellent and creative. The drinks are exciting. The only problem being that if you are in the high top room, especially when the room is crowded and when they have live music being played, it can be so noisy that you can’t talk to someone on the other side of your table. If you go on the weekend, try to be seated in the back room if you want to talk to your dining companions.
Our steak was good and cooked perfectly, but we felt rushed throughout our entire dinner.
Apps, were luke warm and took 30 mins. The place was empty, yet we waited 15 mins for a server. Tap beer was flat and not cold. Entrees are over-priced and don't fill you up. Very disappointed in Remingtons's, not going back to waste anymore money.
Good meal and service. Just s little noisy!
No issues, all good as usual, food was served timely, brad and butter were tasty, meals came out perfect, nothing negative to say atll on this night, glad we decided to go there after a long day
It was bit unusual....
There were four of us and our orders were timely and correct except for one of our group.. The drink order was not correct and the food came incomplete ..
This was not our usual FINE experience...
Could not be more pleased with this evening. Service was excellent considering there was a table of 20 next to us and server was able to supply us her best condition. One meal was not to liking of guest who failed to say no sauce and manager offered to buy us desert .
Great meal and great service.
While we thought the entertainment was a bit too loud given the number of patrons, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The arugula & watermelon salad was refreshing and delicious and the salmon was wonderful- great sauce!
Maybe it was an off day since it was Labor day but there were some issues. Most of us ordered the she-crab soup as and appetizer. It was delicious and chunky but served only warm. We all ordered different things for the main. There were temperature problems such as cold vegetables and fries. 2 ordered the waygu beef burger medium rare and they were medium well. They did take the burgers off the tab. Nobody wanted to send back their food as it took so long for it to come. It was not crowded but sometimes that is worse than full. Michael the bar manager was attentive but our actual server was not very good or even pleasant.
In the past we always liked Remington's and may still try again! The menu is very good as long as they can get it out of the kitchen in a timely fashion.
A wonderful fine dining restaurant on the Shore. Remington's has an excellent menu with appetizers to match. Specialty cocktails give an added good touch and the desserts were enjoyed by those that had room left after a fine evening.
Food and service always excellent! Seafood always fresh and appetizers are delicious
Thoroughly enjoyed a special night out at Remington’s. Food and service were excellent. We sat at the bar with a delicious VO old fashioned and enjoyed the music before dining.
I really enjoyed my food I’ve been coming to Remingtons for couple years now. Bartenders were very friendly and gave great service. My only negative would be that we were told that we had to be out by 8:30. We were finished well before and didn’t feel rushed by our waitress but I did not like being told that. Overall great!!!
Every staff member we had contact with was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was amazing...my husband had the shrimp and scallop rosa as is on the menu, I had the shrimp & scallop rosa but instead of with pasta I had spinach and that was absolutely perfect. We both agreed the sauce (or gravy) was fantastic. I would definitely not hesitate having that again. This was our first time here BUT will not be the last. Look for us soon Remington's, we will be back!!!
Every meal at Remingtons is fantastic. Do go!
Delicious dinner and great service!
Always a favorite in downtown Manasquan.
Perfect for pre- or post-theater.
Fully liquor bar and seasonal menus make this one of the best at the Jersey Shore.
Consistently great food, wine list and service. The music is always good but can be too loud at times.
Always reliable. Busier and noisier in summer, but that's to be expected. Good, fresh oysters (but why were there no shallots or cracked pepper in the mignonette? just vinegar) and huge, tasty caprese salad with avocado as appetizers. One diner raved about the risotto; the other was happy with the filet (a bit past the requested medium rare, but flavorful and nicely presented with asparagus and mashed potatoes).
Great service. Food was good. Be forewarned of the live band (Thur,Fri,Sat?) If its your thing fine, if not request a table in the other room
Lovely music appropriate for the classy atmosphere. Good cocktails and food. Friendly and attentive staff. Love this place!
Food was excellent service was great would definitely return and recommend Remingtons!
Everything was excellent, food, service, etc and would go again. Thought the salad was exceptional. There was a bike crawl visiting when we arrived and the bar area was quite loud spilling into the dining area and quieted down once they moved on. Reservations were at 4:45 as to beat the main dinner crowd and we had good views of the street.
We had excellent service and the food was superb. I look forward to returning in the future.
Had a great dinner. Needed to eat early so restaurant was quiet. Loved the crab sliders and Berry Napoleon.
Ordered a hamburger well done and had to send it back three times and it was still not cooked properly. Service was terrible, Restaurant was clearly understaffed both in the kitchen and wait staff.
The restaurant is too small for the live music. Food was “eh” and service was not good. Server was busy & frazzled.
This is one of our favorite places the ambiance, the service & their blue cheese olive martinis!,
Great last minute choice for us. We beat the dinner rush and had wonderful, attentive service. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the blackened shrimp/scallops with grits and peach salsa, which was a special that evening. Excellent!
Remington’s food was delicious, as was the atmosphere.
We felt the service fell far short of what is expected game paying their prices.
Water glasses were never refilled. The waitress never checked on us after the food was served, we had to ask the bus boy for extra ice etc.
The tables for two against the wall were very close together.
I have dined there in the past, possibly the summer crowd did them in the. Isn’t we were there.
A lovely club-like atmosphere. Service was good. Food and wines were predictable but good quality.
The food is excellent cuisine. We have never had a bad dish. Portions are generous and ingredients are creative and delicious. The light jazz adds to the atmosphere. Prior to the jazz trio , the music in the bar was a bit too loud coupled with a full bar of people eating at the bar before the local show. The empty wine battle with our name on it sitting on our reserved table was a nice touch.
Love love this place!!!
My wife's salmon was so undercooked it could not be eaten. Because our waitress was not seen for fifteen minutes we notified the manager. He offered a replacement, but because it took so long she declined and ended up eating a few pieces of my steak.
Third time back to Remingtons and the food never disappoints. Halibut special was spectacular, my wagu beef burger was quite literally the best burger I've ever had. They had Cotuit oysters on the menu, a tad pricey, but quite delicious as an appetizer. We split the summer arugala and watermellon salad, which was refreshing and light. This is a nice spot that typically has reservations available at the last minute and the food is typically excellent. I like that it is considerably more quiet than many of the restaurants you go to nowadays, making conversation without yelling across the table possible. Even with the live music in the bar and high table of the establishment.
