About

This restaurant is permanently closed. Permanently Closed - We like to think of Remedy as our playground. A creative space where our chefs and bartenders take inspiration from the classics and transform them into something new. Our decor and environment are reminiscent of soda fountains of the 1920s, while our food and beverages are always  evolving to meet modern tastes. Textured cocktails and elixirs, whimsical desserts, and innovative takes on American cuisine come together to create a unique dining experience.

My most favorite restaurant anywhere. It's got a cool vibe n the staff is super great. We eat there every time we head to town. Can't beat their sausage gravy n biscuits or the turkey pastrami sandwich n cup of heavenly tomatoe soup. Don't forget to get a dessert, we went with the coconut cream pie and the Sylvester Sundae...A MUST GET! We were in town for 48 hrs n had to go twice!!

You can go wrong with anything on the menu, it isn't huge but everything is done right! Save room for dessert, yeah it's done right!! It's a cool gem of a place!! Dallas' #1 place!

The ambiance and experience at Remedy far exceeds many of its counterparts in the DFW area. It will be sad to lose the restaurant at the end of this year, but it will always be easy to remember the well-balanced cocktails, cleverly paired sweet and savory dishes alike, and sundaes that end the night just as brilliantly as it began.

Another amazing meal at Remedy. Our food was wonderful, the service perfect, the interior beautiful as always. I am distraught that they are shutting down my favorite restaurant - hoping earnestly that the rumors they may reopen in Uptown or Highland Oark will prove true!

Everything was great. A little noisy, but most places in those old buildings on Greenville are. Sad to hear they are closing. Don't understand why. We have been there several times and always busy.

We found out Remedy is closing so we had to have one last meal! We've always enjoyed our dining experiences there and the bologna sandwich is superb! Highly recommend going before they close 12/31...

Great place for a Date Night I recommend the sharable items we had the duck, Lobster, and they were gracious enough to split the Brussel Sprouts Ceaser excellent items. The Homemade Apple Cider soda was a bit strong but when the bartender put alcohol in the drink it was perfect. I definitely will come back to get some of the main dishes but this place it GREAT especially if you are looking for an exciting place to eat in the DFW

We were seated upstairs that required the waiter to navigate them. Service considerably reduced. Food very good. Don't be seated upstairs.

I made reservations but was running behind due to parking, but was the hostess let me know it was OK! Upon being greeted we were seated near the bar, but my friend didn't like it because it was in the isle. We told our waitress that we wanted to move to a booth, but she was informed by the hostess that it was being saved for a party of four and that they have to honor the reservations that people made. I made a reservation and should've decided where I sat. So after much deliberation 20 min later, they decided we could get the booth. But what really bothered me was the waitress had to whisper to the new waitress that we moved because we didn't like our seat?? It made for a very uncomfortable visit because I felt like the new waitress didn't really give us the attention we needed and we had to to stop the hostess several times to get a refill on our drinks!

Don't sit upstairs. Too noisy!!!!!!! Downstairs has all the atmosphere. Great food. I had the chicken and it was wonderful. We stared with appetizers; hushpuppies and fries. Not notable. Save the calories.

Remedy is probably my favorite place for brunch in Dallas. The cheeseburger is the best I've ever had. It was a little too crowded yesterday, but most places are for brunch. I love the way they rotate desserts and their food is consistently excellent.

My wife and I had Sunday brunch reservations. Being from out of town, we decided Remedy based on some online comments and a mention in Southern Living. the food was excellent and creative, as were the drink offerings. We had the hush puppies as an appetizer. I had the American breakfast which included a Bacon-Cheddar Grits dish that was over the top. The place isn't much to look at, but the staff was friendly and very responsive.

The area around the place is filled with restaurants and even at 10:30 on a Sunday Morning, parking was a challenge. There are several places that offer valet parking, but I'd advise a cab or Uber to eliminate the hassle. Go and you'll enjoy it.

Food was as good as always although pricey. Portions are small and the martini was tiny. The lamb chops were good, but, tiny. One person even told the waiter he was hungry and asked if they would fill him up. He said "Oh yeah!". A real rip off!

We had a reservation and had to wait at least 15 minutes for our table. Our waitress wasn't exactly warm & friendly. We paid almost $20 for a simple cocktail (without warning). The food, however, was delicious! My card was charged for someone else's (more expensive) bill after the itemized receipt was provided to me.

Great ambiance and service, and very good food. Modern/fusion twist on comfort food: spicy chicken-n-waffles, turkey pastrami reuben, bananas foster waffles, etc. Not an everyday place (if you're careful about calories), but definitely needs to be in the regular rotation.

T-bone was very expensive and way too salty. I also had to send it back for cooking more. Cheeseburger was light on the actual meat. Just so-so meal. However, the dessert was great (s'mores ice cream sundae).

What a great experience! I booked it for my fiancé's birthday. We walked in, they immediately said "Happy Birthday", gave him a card that everyone signed wishing him a happy birthday, and sat us down in the perfect location. They knew how to make us feel very special. Not only was the food great, cocktails were yummy, and the atmosphere was outstanding. Feel free to pick something out of your comfort zone for food because EVERYTHING was delicious! Would highly recommend this place to anyone!
