Excellent Hawaii food, beautiful view and low noise level make this an attractive dining option.
It was good food however, the portions were tiny and it wasn’t delicious, so the price and quantity didn’t add up at all.
Great setting with average service. My partner’s risotto with Mahi and prawns was good but my Blue Crab and Macadamia Nut crusted Mahi fillet left a lot to be desired. It wasn’t overly warm when it arrive but I declined to have it reheated to avoid it being over cooked. The vegetables were cooked nicely but I suspect the fish was previously frozen as much of it had the consistency of mashed potato.
Beautiful table Oceanside.
Excellent view of water. Food was mediocre. Seafood Risotto was very salty and fish portion was tiny. Ribeye was good-not great. Dessert trifle was obviously pre-made and had been sitting in a fridge. Very disappointed that it was made with non-dairy whipped topping and not real whipped cream. Service was attentive and fast.
All around a great experience - food, service, ambience were delightful. Definitely worth stopping by when strolling along the coastline.
We had entrees and cocktails. Our party had Ribs, Lobster Mac and cheese, lobster chowder, and the steak filet. Very Good food, not excellent. Prob not the right items to order in Hawaii.
Amazing ocean front location. However, the seating was uncovered, which was not ideal when it started sprinkling. Service was acceptable, not very good / friendly. Waitress did not seem to want to be there. Food came out very fast, which was nice. I had the Hawaiian take on an old fashioned. Was ok, but not great. Prob not the right drink to order in Hawaii. Rating considers vale relative to other options nearby.
Went here to eat outside and was walking distance from our hotel. However, was cool and windy night, so opted for a table inside. The tables were squeezed into walkway next to tall dark columns in the bar with very little view. Felt like we were eating in a hallway. Not the enjoyable dinner we wanted. Food and service was rather good.
Great setting and Great service. The food was good and they gave great selections.
The location is beautiful. We were there for the ending of happy hour. Perfect time because as we ate dinner the beautiful sunset was right in front. They have live music during happy hour. Nice. The food looks beautiful, but the taste was just ok. Even the lava flow I had was just ok. I've had better. The service was wonderful. Our waitress and other staff were very attentive.
We went for Valentine's Day and were disappointed by the short menu. Due to the rain we were only a few people that were seated for the evening. We understand they were prepared for many more with the short menu but it was not up to it's usual standard in our opinion.
Fabulous Valentines Day dinner! Perfect beach ambiance. More importantly, the surf & turf was delicious and cooked perfectly. Service attentive and not pushy. We had a lovely evening dinner.
We went on Valentines Day and they had a very limited menu. It happened to be Ash Wednesday for us and we thought we are in Mauai- every expensive Resturant has many fresh fish options to choose from. Not the case; only offered a very bland vegetable fettuccini or a Samon dish. Fresh salmon in Hawaii? I don’t think so. Very disappointed. Very expensive. Since it was a rainy night, couldn’t even appreciate the ocean view. Many other options in the area
Valentine’s Day Dinner in Maui Hawaii.
Great location right on the beach. Our server was very nice and the provided excellent service. The meal was first rate.
We had one of dozen tables on the grass immediately next to the beach. There really is no more romantic setting in my mind.
But to top things off, we had whales, lots of whales. And they were having fun wit tail slaps and full breaches, launching themselves out of the water and creating huge splashes afterwords. Oh yeah, and the food was pretty good too!
The Menu needs an overhaul! All the restaurants around had lines / here only 4 or 5 tables were used.
The Music also did not suit the ambience
It used to be much better before the changes - I think it used to be Pacifica and had a great menu prepared very well.
Service was very prompt and the food was great. Loved the chowder.
Outstanding appetizers, good drinks and main dishes. Amazing service in a beautiful location.
I had the lobster mac and cheese and it was Sensational! Also our waiter Anson was amazing!
This restaurant could be a lot better with a few upgrades. Lighting, Red table cloths, white linen napkins, and some small decorations would go a long way. The food was fine. The waitress was fine. The personnel were all fine. I like this particular place to eat because you can get in easily and all the tables have an excellent view.
We had a very nice dinner. Our service was excellent and so was the food. It was a perfect night!
Wanted a special evening for a 40th Anniversary every expectation met! Ambiance, delicious food, excellent service, and ocean side...Perfect!
The service here was exceptional. Our reservations were later so it was very quiet and peaceful, a nice change from the Whaler Village restaurants. I don't remembee much about the food because it was pretty much the same you would get at any nice restaurant in Hawaii. However tje service and ambiance more than made up for it!
Fantastic food, service and view! We split the lobster chowder. It is a full bowl appetizer. My husband had the seafood risotto. I had the crab and macadamia crusted mahi. All was wonderfully delicious! The drink menu was very nice with some creative selections. Overall, one of our best meals on Maui!
Some people may dismiss this restaurant since it is part of a large hotel. But if you walk down Kaanapali beach walk it is Oceanside and worth the visit.
Delicious everything. Really enjoyed the risotto.
My husband and I had a table next to the beach and it was a lovely evening. The server, Donna did an exceptional job and the food was delicious. The ambience of the beach and the ocean made the evening very special. A great place to relax, and enjoy Maui.
Great evening. Wished I could have sat on the grass closest to the beach, but the host said it was booked for the day.
Delicious food, great attentive service, and spectacular views of the ocean! We had a table right on the beach facing the ocean and everything from the minute we arrived until the very end was a fantastic experience. Definitely recommend!
Unfortunately, the extremely poor service totally over rides the food. We all enjoyed our meals but we waited 45 mins to to get a drink order, they brought bread after we asked twice but no butter ir anything g to accompany the bread after asking 3 different people. The waitress was rough and really did not care much about the quality of service she was providing since she knew she was getting an automatic 20% gratuity ($75 on our bill) It was not very busy so she had no good reason to be as inattentive as she was. This poor service goes across the boras with all staff I had the displeasure of encountering. No o e really seemed to give a care about anything or have any sense of urgency to service the customers. Save your mo way and go into Lahaina for some much better eats and stellar service. Worst service we have ever had.
We walked here a few minutes from our resort and really enjoyed our first visit. The filet was tender and tasty with nice accompaniments of mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts. My wife thought the crispy hibachi salmon was wonderful. We were seated at a very nice nice table near the waterfall and out of the cool evening breeze. We'll come another time to enjoy this restaurant.
What a treat to find this restaurant on the waterfront in the middle of the hotel district. We were not sure what to expect, Given that there had been some mixed reviews lately for service. But those were from Christmas which was probably a busy day. We were blown away by the quality and creativity of the food, and Anton was a fantastic server. The taro focaccia was amazing, fantastic texture and with a delicious garlic dipping sauce. The beet salad was beautiful, and we got another house salad which was also very good. The steak was perfectly cooked, and came with the most delectable beefy mushrooms as well as a really solid mashed potatoes and some perfectly cooked brussels sprouts. Crispy skin salmon was perfection. I wasn’t as crazy about the bok choy on the side, but it was very healthy. And the bartenders craft cocktails were on point. Delightful foodie surprise, and a lot less crowded than the touristy restaurants like hula grill. Tables were well spaced and it had a much more elegant feel. We are looking forward to returning.
12-26.I had made reservations on OT beforehand. We requested a table near the the beach which would have been a great setting for dinner. There were thunder showers at the time of our reservation so we were moved under cover by the pool. The area was very bright and very stark with a cement floor. Not much ambience other that the pool and the singer who was great. We were seated at a square table meant for 4 and there were 5 of us. After the waitress came and noted the crowding at our table and asked if we wanted another table added (She looked confused as to why we were seated that way). We said that would be great and a circular table was brought next to us which still felt a little like a cheap diner. There were other open tables that remained empty during our dinner in the same area and through out the restaurant. The meal was expensive and pretty good. Not excellent. I had the filet which was a bit tough, My husband had the lobster mac and cheese I could have perhaps been more forgiving had it not been feeling like I was sitting in a garage off to the side of the other guests. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly. The seats were the beach looked great I just think the area we were placed could have been a little cozier, and the food needs to step it up.
The worst dining experience we ever had. I brought my family of 5 to Relish for Christmas dinner after we arrived in Maui for vacation. While we were seated immediately,we did not see our server for 30 minutes. After drink and food were ordered (a multi course set menu), we got on salads 30 mins later. An hour went by before we saw the Manager and complained. We got our main courses minus a side dish that was ordered. My fish was ice cold. Nobody explained why until the manager came back and said they were out of that dish. I told him I would take a dessert to go instead. We waited for another 45 mins with no service and finally asked for the check. They still charged for the side dish. I never saw the dessert to go. We couldn’t get anyone to stop so I paid the bill... a $500 bill I might add for cold food and left a note that the tip was the side I was still charged for and the dessert I never got. The only positive thing I can say was the ambiance was nice. I travel a lot and eat at fine dining establishments often. Never have I had this awful of service and quality with such a hefty price tag. So disappointed!!
I was very disappointed in the whole experience it was terrible and I won’t be eating there again
Decent food but quite pricey! Skip the fudge pie dessert!
Relish has a fabulous breakfast buffet! Service is fantastic for breakfast. Their lunch salads are great , as well.
Unfortunately, our dinner was just average and a bit pricey.
Would recommend for breakfast!
The food is very mediocre. Nice location.
Very good food options with a wide variety of proteins. Server was very knowledgeable and food was prepared to all requests. Portions were on the large side and made great lunch leftovers
