I wish more was offered, the food was great but not much on each dish. A little more could be offered like dinner rolls, salads, etc. two of the dishes that came out weren’t complete and had things missing on them. No excuse for that.
Brought a friend for a Christmas dinner/gift. We both had the crab cake special. We enjoyed our meal immensely and had a great visit. The staff were wonderful and it was a quiet, enjoyable evening.
No specific comments about this restaurant. It was a nice evening overall.
This restaurant is charming. There are several rooms 2 of which have red banquettes against the walls. It is a New York bistro type of feel. Service is excellent and so is the food. 2 of us has crabcake which arrived with small potatoes, coleslaw and broccoli. The 2 small crab cakes are served with a delicious sauce. Another member pf our party had pasta and shrimp. Absolutely no complaints. Will return soon.
Its good to see the return of the old Acacia menu at this restaurant. I loved the original restaurant and this is the first time I've been back in two years since they remodeled and tried to change the menu.
Once again Reina was PERFECT! Definitely our family's go to for special occasions/celebrations!
What a wonderful dinner celebrating a friend's birthday. Top notch in every way
Lunch for four $200. Couldn't use all of Gift Card? Scallops delicious but $28. for 3 medium scallops on puree sweet potato? Tea $3. Coffee 4oz. cup $5.00. Bottle of Reisling $36. In Germany a bottle of Reisling in a restaurant would be E7.00.
Portions not enough. Even with desert, we left hungry. Food was delicious just not enough for the main entree. Waiter was friendly and his service was good. He was a salesman who pushed menu items for extras.
Not sure I would consider Reina again only because there are so many other restaurants that are as delicious but a better value. Overall, we enjoyed the food and how it was prepared. But, we didn't think the experience at Reina was worth the expense.
Quite simply one of the best Sunday brunch options in Frederick. White tablecloths, super-professional service, high quality food from a curious and creative chef who rarely strays into exoticism, and lovable drink specials. Worth a trip.
This is a very nice-looking place that was recommended by a "know-it-all" friend. I expected a Latin-influenced menu since it is labeled as "Latin Bistro" somewhere in a magazine or internet and the name implies Latin food. The food is more generic American which is fine. My friend had the crab cakes (he liked them very much) and I had the lamb chop (a total MESS of overly-fatty lamb chop, slices of hard-as-leather pieces of lamb (?) and a mix of vegetables in the middle with 1,000 dressing). Very disappointing evening.
The family took the mom's out for Sunday brunch. I picked Reina's this weekend and wish we had found it sooner. All I can say is wow to everything. It has been a long time since every dish and beverage was spot on. Alex our waitress was wonderful. Drinks - Peruvian coffee, Fresh squeezed orange Mimosas and fresh brewed iced tea. Meals - 3 French Toasts w/ apples and bacon made with 9 grain bread, 1 eggs benedict and 1 crabs benedict. And complimentary chocolate donut bites to start. The French Toast and Mimosas were the super stars but again, WOW. If you are looking for brunch in Frederick. Give Reina a try, just leave a table for us!
A friends birthday we dined outside the atmosphere was nice, food was fantastic as always and the wine was good. Our server has been there for years and always provides great service.
We love Reina. At the risk of letting the whole world in on our secret, it's a completely under-appreciated gem in the heart of Frederick. We found it by accident and now go there pretty much exclusively. Food is fabulous, original and often locally sourced. Service is amazing. We just love it. But, shhhh! Don't tell anyone!
A wonderful Sunday brunch in their beautiful garden area. The Eggs Benedict were superb and I wish I knew how they prepare their breakfast potatoes...out of this world! Great service and oh my, the dessert was to die for...chocolate heaven!
We sat at a front window table and enjoyed the street view, while many other folks were further back in the restaurant where there was music. Where we sat was quiet and we could talk easily. Service was very nice and food was terrific.
Servie was at a perfect pace not too fast not too slow. Scallops were over the top delicious. Crabenedict was nice portion and steak and eggs was cooked to perfection. They have a back patio which looked nice but we enjoyed the white table cloth service inside. It was my mom's birthday and they brought her out a candle....that was it a candle, no ice cream, no cake; just a candle melted onto a dish - was very strange. I would go back anytime just not for a birthday
They play live jazz on Saturday, it was great!
Way too understaffed. Almost an hour to get our drinks. Just under two hours to get entrée. Dirty dishes would sit on table 30-45 minutes. Entrée was good, but appetizer and soup were boring.
Reina is a beautiful place in a great location but our experience was not good. We were the only party in the entire room and it took almost an hour to receive our meals. My friend ended up sending her pasta back because it had a very odd taste. It ended up being over $50 per person which I felt was way too much for our experience.
The service here was amazing! I live in LA and wanted to set up a dinner date for my parent's anniversary who live by Frederick. I called Reina and the staff was amazing in helping to set up this date night. They offered a romantic table, candle, flower and set up a bottle of champagne before my parent's arrival. They allowed me to pay over the phone, called to confirm reservation and request before the reservation, called me after to confirm final price, and were a pleasure to work with. I believe the 2 people that helped me were Katie and Kimberly and they were such a help, and pleasure to speak with. My parents said the food and service was great and they absolutely loved the experience. I'm planning on going there on my next visit back. I'd strongly recommend this place!! Thank you Reina!
We & our friends really enjoyed a super dinner at Reina on Friday evening! Especially since they have gone back to their old menu; all our choices were outstanding! Thanks to Nezih & the entire staff at Reina for a great evening!
Food and service were both very good (although the restaurant was not busy). Eclectic menu with dishes to appeal to a variety of tastes. (Unusual to see Kung Pao Chicken and Pork Schnitzel on the same menu). Beet Salad was excellent, fried green tomatoes were average. Desserts were creative and tasty.
Always enjoy Reina, Especially since they've returned to a more American fusion menu. Always helpful, cheerful and patient service from Alex. Yahoo!
Yesterday's Sunday brunch was wonderful. The steak and eggs were great, served with
potatoes and whole grain bread. The coffee was excellent.
Service was attentive and friendly. The tables in the garden made a great place for
conversation amid greenery.
We love this restaurant...love the wait staff and the food is unique and delightful!
Always great grub. Alex an extremely helpful and professional server. Wonderful fresh local produce. Can't be beat and highly recommended.
Open table said its open till 9, but the restaurant is only ooen till 8
Food was great (except an overpriced, mundane Caesar salad), but the service was exceedingly slow and uneven.
With all the choices on that strip, I doubt I would return.
Came here for Mother's Day. The garden in the back was nice. The food came out late due to "computer issues" but I figured the server could have told the kitchen? The coffee also came cold. The environment is very nice and the hostess was accommodating for where we wanted to sit with a toddler and a baby.
Food was Very Good! Good service. Quite surprised by the overall experience. First time, will be back!
The food, beverages and service were excellent, and our table in the back looked into the garden...too bad it was a little chilly to dine outside. The only drawback was the noise level as there does not appear to be any soft surfaces to reduce the noise. We were seated next to a table of 6 or 7 and they were having lively conversation with lots of laughs. Nice folks but we were not unhappy when they finished. Reina was a good value and we'll go again when we come back to Frederic.
Excellent food and service! I had scallops, they were perfectly cooked and served on top of light fluffy butternut squash ravioli. My husband had filet and short ribs; so tender you could cut them with a fork! We also had dessert which was equally as fabulous!
We had a table in the front which was great for people watching. Highly recommend!!!
The outdoor ambiance of this restaurant is so cute! Their food is also delicious and the service was great!
Delicious and unique food combinations and flavors from local farms/establishments. Great to sit by window and watch people walk by. Fresh and eclectic look, great location with option outside seating available.
My only complaint is that the food was a bit salty. We got the calamari and the steak and eggs and all I could taste was salt. Great bloody Marys though
The reviews did not match the experience. I felt that the food and ambiance are just ok.
Delicious food, great friendly staff, beautiful scenery
Very nice atmosphere, especially when dining in the back garden. Generally the service is very good, but on this occasion there were some minor issues, but not to distract from the great food and ambiance.
Outstanding food. plenty of healthy choices and very good pairings of food and flavors. Good chef. The service was exceptional as well.
Birthday for my wife. It was perfect
