Good pizza and excellent beer selection in the back biergarten. Absolutely too noisy inside the main dining room. Install some curtains, acoustic tile or something to mitigate the sound. You can't have a conversation without shouting in that space.
My friends and I met up at this restaurant for our prom dinner. The service was good, the food was delicious, and the noise level was quiet even though the restaurant was full. I really enjoyed this place, and will be going back.
The brussel sprouts are to die for. A touch of spicy heat made 'em delicious.
Our part of 6 all enjoyed eating at the round table that used to be a pulley when Reilly was a funeral home.
Great restaurant. SERVICE WAS SPECTACULAR!! We will definitely come back to visit the next time we are in Tucson
Great food, wine and service. Bar is fun. The vodka tomato sauce rigatoni is excellent as is the bolagnese fettuccine.
Awesome place to eat and drink. Great beer selection, great ambiance.
We had the fennel sausage pizza. The flavor was fresh and full. There was plenty of sauce, but the toppings were spread a little thin. Our server was very good. She was attentive and responsive, but disappeared for long periods of time. Maybe the wait staff was spread a little thin, too. The decor is interesting - refurbished bank, I think, with a groin vault ceiling. The acoustics are typical for that kind of venue, so it probably gets pretty noisy when the place is packed. The bar looks very well stocked, and there was a pretty fair selection of wine and beer on the lunch menu. Overall, it was a good value. We'll go back and we'll recommend Reilly to friends.
We were going to the Elton John concert and wanted to find somewhere to have dinner before, several FB friends had raved about Reilly, so decided to give it a try. It was wonderful, service was great, it was quiet and the food was also wonderful. I would recommend Reilly's to anyone.
Some out-of-town friends were looking for a night out so my wife thought Reilly's would be a good choice. She was right; it was a great night out with a great server. We enjoyed appetizers and drinks before our pizza. All the food was fresh and delicious. Our friend was looking for a special rum and while Reilly's didn't stock that brand, the bartender mixed him a drink that he liked. We'll return, by ourselves if not with friends. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
We had three pizzas. It was hard to choose a favorite. All three were excellent!
Food was great. Service was awful. Waiter had no interest in us. He had a smart aleck attitude. It will be a long time before I go back.
Wonderful Food and Drink at Reilly. I would recommend that you try a craft cocktail, or go old school with a Manhattan, Old Fashioned, or a Sazerac.
It's one of our favorite places in town. Don't forget to go downstairs to the bar.
They have very good PIZZA and always are responsive to reservations and always very friendly staff.
Went back to Reilly's for the 2nd time and it was once again terrific. The pizza's and pasta's are excellent. They have a great selection of beers on Tap, bottle and new IPA's. The pancetta, Brussel sprout appetizers were outstanding. It has a cool speakeasy bar in the cellar and outdoor space. Former funeral home converted into a lively restaurant/bar.
We were looking for a casual place to have some pizza and pasta and this hit the spot. The pasta bolognese was excellent and so was the house salad. Decor inside was very interesting.
Pretty good food overall. I ordered the chef's whim pizza which was butternut squash and fennel with truffle oil. It was yummy but a little skimpy on the toppings. The restaurant was quite loud and conversation was a little difficult.
This is one of our favorite spots downtown. We love the Beer Garten and the Tough Luck Club as well as the great food.
Hidden GEM in downtown Tucson, that's Reilly Craft Pizza. We've seen this little place many times, so finally made reservations for a Sunday night. GREAT ambiance, in an old mortuary, skillfully renovated with open kitchen, trendy bar area, lots of tables, and an outdoor beer garden. Pizza and salads were excellent! Desert " to die for" served in little jars!! Got really crowded by 6PM. Make a reservation to be sure of getting a table.
The pizza here is the best in town. Margarita is my favorite. Great happy hour value with $6 glasses of wine. We need to each get our own pizza or one and a little one to share if it is happy hour. It is just easy to eat a lot with the thin crust. Not a lot of cheese on it, but that is my preference. My husband would like more cheese. It gets crowded even on weeknights. It is hard to carry on a conversation with wooden floors. I'm not sure how they could fix the noise level. Maybe some carpet in places? That is the only negative. Service is hit or miss, but mostly good.
The toast is phenomenal as well as their pizza. We find reasons to come down from Phoenix to eat here. Love it!
Ahh Reilly - what's not to love? Great service, amazing food, and awesome selection of drinks! Cheers to another successful friends' get together!
This restaurant is in an old mortuary in downtown Tucson. Have eaten both lunch & dinner there on several occasions. Food is always good as is the very attentive service. Food favorites are the Brussels sprouts & meatball appetizers & the delicious pizzas. Also the various topped breads. Nice atmosphere too.
We had never been to Reilly's but we had heard from friends, it was a great place for dinner. They were right! The food, atmosphere and service was great! We would definitely recommend Reilly's!
We sat in the front and received good /attentive service. Staff was also friendly. Food was great. We would return again as well as recommend it for others looking for a nice, casual environment.
Took my granddaughter (UofA student). Atmosphere was great, food outstanding, wine superb. Even ordered a pizza to go. Overall a great choice!
My girlfriend and I went here for Valentine's Day. We were excited because the place had a great atmosphere and the vibes were awesome. The service was great!! Unfortunately, the food was just really bad. We got the truffle fries and they were soggy. The vodka drink we ordered needed water as a chaser. The sausage pizza we got was incredibly burnt as well. As much as we wanted to like this restaurant, we were just overall disappointed.... But hey, it makes a good Valentine's Day story!
Long story short: pretty good service save for an awkward seating mix-up. Good pizza, good drink list, unique atmosphere/setting as it's a funeral home-turned-pizza-place. Good wood-fired pizza that's all the rave, extensive drink menu, a little on the pricey side but good for a date. Read Yelp! review for full details.
Delightful evening after the initial attempt to seat me at the bar, even though I had reservation. Ended up in comfy lounge seating with a great server. The Valentines special Beets 3 way salad was delicious. I had the fennel and sausage pizza that was also was marvelous. Good, but limited wine selection.
We had a wonderful Valentine's Day lunch there everything was delicious. We even took home dinner for this evening love the food so much
We've been to Reilly's several times. The speck and egg pizza and the beer garden are where it's at. I also love the toasts. Honestly hard to go wrong!
We had such a great server. She was just delightful. And as usual, the food was fantastic. Thank you for a fun evening!!
I sat at the bar and had excellent recommendations. Don't get here often enough but it's really terrific!
Excellent food, great service at good prices. Good choice of beers from microbreweries.
The staff and service were OUTSTANDING!!
Very good food...my wife said it was the best pizza that she's had in Tucson.
Excellent food. Bring a jacket-- it's chilly inside!
Flexible menu, delicious tomato soup and grilled cheese, incredible service - Jimmy is very attentive
Louran was our terrific server. Toast was delicious as were the Brussel sprouts and the fries. Pizza yummy too, also the soup! We will return!!
We had reservations through Open Table for a Saturday afternoon at 2PM. They had a full house with one group waiting. The hostess said "I'll note you have checked-in. You'll have to wait a little." I asked her for an estimate of how long we'd wait. She said, "Fifteen to twenty minutes." That time extended longer than that, but only two tables were occupied. Those two tables were groups of about six each. The rest of the dining room was open, but they didn't call us. I stood up with arms folded, and watched two employees clean and reset all the 2 and 4 seater table in the house. When they proceeded to hang out in the back and separate dishes from trash, I'd had enough and walked calmly to the hostess podium. A different hostess soon noticed and came up. I told her the same thing I told the first one, plus the fact that we had been waiting much longer than we were told we would. She again asked my name and how many, as if it mattered - All the 2 to 4 seaters were still empty! At least she moved into action at that point. She seated us and said she was sorry. A server quickly arrived and asked how we were doing. I said "Better now since we should not have waited so long." She said she was sorry, too. The food was fine, but the place was disorganized and they were out of regular cups, at least for us. We got to-go cups, and were grateful later that they would still do refills in them. The only other 2-4 seater there was next to us, and starting their service too. They ordered drinks and our orders were taken back together, but they got dining-in cups. The food was hot and fresh and good. I hope they were just having an off-afternoon. But we felt like we were the left-overs.
