About
The Reichenbach Hall has wooden communal tables, barrels, bags of malt, sports on big screens, and an overriding Oktoberfest-tent vibe that will make you want to stare people in the eye, and yell "Prost!".
It was a wonderful time in celebration of my husband's bday.
Unfortunately they didn’t have the hot wine, which is signature German cold weather drink :(
Needs management. Not a well run establishment
Great experience for our group. The only thing, since it was Mardi Gras/ Karneval Tuesday, it would have been nice to have scheduled more entertainment towards the theme on that particular day.
The Food was absolutely horrible and overpriced.
The famous Berlin Currywurst was not recognizable.
The Food was bland.
The only Good thing was the true German Beer.
As a German who lived in Berlin for many years
This food is abominable and does in no way resemble a German dish.
Never again!
Vielen Dank!

The restaurant is convenient to our hotel so I got on their website and easily reserved a table. I like that they accept reservations. Our server answered all of our questions since we were novices to that restaurant. The beer (both lager and dark) was good. They gave us a taste first so we'd know what we wanted to order. We split a pretzel with beer cheese and spicy mustard and the chicken schnitzel with mushrooms. All very good, we licked our plates clean. The service was excellent, although it was a slow night for them.
Food was good, service was fine, but didn’t feel authentic German like in some other German restaurants that I’ve been to
The 6 of us enjoyed ourselves....stayed quite a while and drank beers and had some sausages.
Very good. Fun.
Very strange greeting, told kitchen was closing in 15 minutes and server was leaving and could go to order food at bar and maybe be able to take food to a table, very abrupt and not welcoming at all.
Person at bar was completely different, she told us to go to a table and she would serve us which she did and was very nice.
Food was average and there was no atmosphere
Whenever I'm in the City I always make time for Reichenbach. The best place for German beer and food. It has a great atmosphere and friendly waitstaff.
A delightful Biergarten and a must stop for me every time I'm in the city!
Awesome food good prices and great customer service
There were a lot of items on the menu that were not available
Lots of fun. The place invites you to enjoy and be around friends. The bench tables makes group meals fun and informal. The loud noise does make chatting a bit difficult but managaeable. Get the liter sized pilsner and platter sized pretzel to start! The schnitzel are kinda dry but everything else was pretty good. Have fun!
Saurbraten was listed on website and menu in window is no longer served I was disappointed but snitzel and goulash were fairly good
Hard to tell, yesterday we confirmed our reservation for 12 at 1pm today but was told while waiting outside that they didn’t open until 2pm. We left and found a Plan B.
Awesome German food
Great atmosphere, great beers and good food. Was not thrilled about the $3 per person cake cutting fee for birthdays, but otherwise, a nice place to get a group together and enjoy.
Can imagine great for Octoberfest. For a moderately priced German meal in December choose another spot. Service was poor. Food was bland.
Service was horrible. Took 15 minutes for waitress to show up. Then was non responsive.
For a fun night out and good German food. Not romantic bu any stretch, and it helps if you like beer!
Service could have been better, but you can forgive any slack because of the type of restaurant it is.
They need to get German potato pancakes on their menu!
Great beers and food, ambiance is as expected from an ale house! Really enjoyed
I enjoyed my visit to Reichenbach Hall very much. The food was very good and authentic, the service was excellent, and atmosphere was fun. My only problem was the music. This was club music and I think it took away from the authenticity of the place. I'm sure it was done to cater to a younger crowd but if the place is authentic, be authentic! Otherwise I enjoyed the place very much and I would go back.
Hi from Buffalo visiting my Brother ! Was an amazing night at your place with friends and family we will be back !! The waitresses were amazing! Thank you for a fun night !! Food awesome !!
We asked for a menu item (pretzels) and were told they were sold out. After several hours of drinking and ordering other items we saw pretzels being delivered to another party. Manager did absolutely nothing for us for their error. I have hosted a few large groups here before and space is good but will rethink ever booking again given the poor customer service.
We arrived late so there was little noise, but I can imagine it might get loud when crowded. Great place for big groups, family gatherings. Yummy food, good service.
Went the day after Thanksgiving to meet with friends. Food was delicious! We expected to hear German music, but it was a mix of pop songs instead. Will definitely return despite the music!
What was served was good and enjoyable. That being said, I went there with my family in hopes of enjoying some German food but they were all out of Pretzels, Red Cabbage, and French fries. A little disappointed about that. The service was also a bit on the slow side, especially considering that they weren’t busy at all.
We had a pleasant lunch. Food was fine, wait staff accommodating.
Beer was good. One out of three dishes was good. I ordered Swedish meatballs that were inedible, hard and flavorless. Skimpy serving of gravy. Waitress was new and sweet but didn't seem to have been sufficiently trained. Place was really loud.
The food was fine, but the service was extremely poor. When we arrived, the restaurant was mostly empty, but it took around 15 minutes for wait staff to take our order and then 30-40 minutes for them to simply deliver fries. Moreover, many items such as pretzels, wurst, and some beers were not available to order. To top it off, there was a staff changeover during the meal, but this did not seem to be communicated which resulted in us having to wait 15 minutes to pay our tab.
Overall, the food was fine, but due to the poor service, I would discourage others from visiting this restaurant.
We had a fun time at the Reichenbach. The beer selection was great; many different kinds from Germany, plus some house brand selections. All excellent. Like in Germany, the tables were either for four, or long with bench seats to accommodate a group of friends. The size of the mugs are either a half-liter or a whole-liter, so come thirsty. The food was great as well. I got the mixed brats, and my wife got the brat plate. We've spent some time in Germany, and our dinners were absolutely authentic.
Great Bavarian beer and food. Several good beers available on draft. Food is pretty good and the service is great. Had a really nice evening.
We ordered and watched others enter, order, eat and pay and we were not served. After I inquired about the delay the server said they were not sure they could do the naked chicken but just decided they could. An apology but we decided we wasted too much time. Server should have been proactive and let us know or offer a beer while we waited or something. We got up and left.
Once again great evening. Food was wonderful and service outstanding. Had been there many times.
Everything was delicious from beer to the bratwursts you will not go wrong. The atmosphere was fun and loud, it’s a German beer hall what do you expect.
Good typical German dishes that can be paired with equally good and authentic German beers
The food is always good and the beer is outstanding!
This out-of-the-way German beer hall is worth the trip. Lots of atmosphere, lots of beer, lots of good German food. We were unhappy briefly when our entrees arrived moments after our soup, but our server quickly took care of that problem. We'll be back!
Coming here for the past 6 years for Oktoberfest. Prices have definitely gone up. Portions of food are smaller as well.
