   Pre-Oktoberfest lunch. Service was a little slow but beer is great, as was the currywurst.

   My favorite place in NYC. FOOD IS NOT THE REASON TO COME HERE!!!! BEER and SERVICE ARE. Very authentic place where you cannot get a table or any seat between 5 and 8.

   This is a good place for traditional German food without the frill if a fancy restaurant. The environment was very relaxed and basic.

   The restaurant is very similar to a German beer hall with one large space filled with longer tables and a nice bar. The atmosphere is one of celebratory camaraderie with an associated noise level to match. The beer selection is great and the menu (while not exactly as what is posted on their website) offers enough variety to satisfy most tastes. Two of the entrees we had were very good and one other was mediocre. The service was spot on with everyone, from the bartender to the wait staff, friendly, helpful and efficient.

   worst food ever! as i am travelling a lot, sometimes i like to see a german bierhaus, alleays good memories. not this time. the food was disgusting and not even close of beeing german style. complaining didn‘t bother the f&b manager to come to my table ( 5 guests at the bar and 2 tables - might have been busy or he/she knew what to expect if talking to someone from the old world)

   Wait staff was good, but didn’t have the menu represented on their website. Wine was very limited, and 3 of 6 meals were poor. I will not return.

   Great German Pub atmosphere and decor with the wait staff appropriately dressed for the theme. This really gave an amazing ambiance to the pub. The food was decent with some sausages being bland and the rest being regular bar fare. Great beer selection, though.

   German beer hall. Reasonably authentic and affordable for NYC. Meals should come with authentic side, such as spätzle, German potato salad rather than fries.

    Menu didn’t match what was posted online and it became more limited when several entree items weren’t available on a Saturday night. Food quality was very good and price very reasonable
