   I was there with a group of 12 and the staff managed our orders and service extremely well. It was very festive and the food was great. Everyone had a terrific time!

   Worst dining experience! -Though Made an open table reservation when I arrived I was told there would be a 20 min wait ( we ended up being given a table by the door @ a table for 2 though were 3. - the noise level was horrific ... rowdy millennial raucous Not for me! - the Avocado brunch special “ ran out of avocado” R u kidding me? -the restaurant thought they were doing me a favor To go out & buy more .. though they failed to tell me the lunch would be delayed + 35 minutes Food was cold not worth waiting for !!

   The pasta’s are all Fantastic and the sauces are authentic Italian recipes. I have eaten here many times, can’t really go wrong.

   unfortunately one of the two of our entrees was not sufficiently cooked . but the owner and waitress quickly and kindly took care of the problem. but the timing of our meal was off. and then the coffee was undrinkable.

    I ended not having dinner at Regional. The place was crowded and loud. When I told the host that I had a 7pm reservation she said to me “we are busy but we’ll try and accommodate you.” I said we had a reservation, so that is not an appropriate answer. She just shrugged her shoulders. When my dining partner arrived we both decided to go somewhere else because of the noise level and the rudeness of the host.

    Everything we ordered was very good - especially the special salad with burrata. Eggplant parmesan was also excellent. The only disappointment was the chocolate molten cake, where the inside tasted more like pudding than pure chocolate. But the cake was cooked perfectly. The service wasn't particularly attentive - we had to ask for the wine three times - despite it being almost empty as it was fairly late in the evening. I would recommend it as they have a nice range of dishes from all over Italy and the prices are very reasonable. I will go again.

    Hard to like a place that makes me wait 55 mins for my entree (admittedly, I ordered no starter). Server basically dealt with the slow kitchen by completely ignoring us, and averting her eyes from our attempts to learn what had happened with our dinner order. No apologies, no offers of "would you like more bread?" Nothing. Dinner stops being a pleasant experience of being served a tasty meal, and instead becomes a high-tension ordeal in which you realize just how hungry and tired you are, and you wonder what you've done to earn such shabby treatment.

    This was a birthday celebration for one of 3 old friends. So pleased that we were not rushed. The food was very good. Love the beet salad. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

    We went on a Tuesday night for the price fix menu and were delighted. Beet salad excellent. Lamb chops and short rib even better. The service was outstanding, solicitous but not smarmy. We definitely will go back and next time bring friends.

    This was our first brunch at Regional. We have in the past enjoyed dinner at Regional and so were excited to try brunch. Brunch was so disastrous that we’re crossing the restaurant off our list of neighborhood favorites. 1. Service was horrendous. It took an hour for our order of pancakes, omelettes, pasta to be served to our party of 4. The restaurant was at less than half its capacity, and so one cannot excuse the poor service on understaffing. 2. Food was mediocre. Omelettes were dry. Pasta was average. You can’t really screw up pancakes. There are many other great brunch options within the neighborhood. Better off going elsewhere.

    Prodigal returns to Upper West Side after 20+ year hiatus. Regional was an eye opener, good food, attentive service, very reasonable prices, good wine selection, neighborhood feel. Wish this had been around earlier.

    Unfortunately none of our food was stellar. Drinks were good, my lasagne was not that warm, non pasta dishes lacked oomph, the ceiling vent leaked on us. I will say the waiter and apologized for that, and quickly relocated us. This was our second time, and I just can’t spend anymore money here. The half price pasta or wine days might be ok, but don’t deviate at all from those 2 things. Perhaps it was just our luck.

    Food was great. Their pre fixe special is a great deal. My only complaint was the plate clearing while others were still eating or as soon as I put my fork down.

    I am a regular at Regional the food is always delicious. The pasta dishes are some of the best in NYC. Try the Macaroni with eggplant sauce, its my favorite. The atmosphere is casual and there is outside seating. The wine list is Italian with some very smooth entries.

    I dined with a friend at Regional. We couldn't be happier with the savory dishes, ambiance, and friendliness of the servers. I had pan seared filet of branzino with fried leak and couscous; my friend ordered roasted chicken with mushrooms and mashed potato. Both dishes were tasty and well presented. I will definitely go back.

    Took wife out for Mom's Day dinner. She's a vegetarian, and she had plenty to choose from. Everything we ordered tasted quite good, vegetables very fresh and nicely prepared. It was a little too loud in there at first, what with all the kids in Mom's Day gatherings, but as those broke up the noise subsided to a level we like. Glad we went - my wife enjoyed it!

    It was mother's day, so it was PACKED! Absolutely delicious food though, and the muffins they give you as complimentary bites are on another level. Itnalsonsems like a great first date place. I'll definitely try to go back.

    Had to wait 1 hour to sit after our reservation time. Food had no flavor. Very loud and noisy couldn’t hear anyone. Extremely packed. No order in service No greet at the door. Price was reasonable.

    We’ve been here a few times so we were surprised by our experience today. The food was cold (not warm - like close to ice cube cold) and they delivered only 3 of our 4 meals. We waited another 15 mins for the 4th. The waiter was very hard to get the attention of so we just ate the cold food since it took so long. We are nearly finished dining after the long wait when we were told they needed our table soon and started taking our plates. Small things like asking 3 people for mayonnaise that came as they cleared our table didn’t add to the experience. Unfortunately it’s done downhill over the past year. Plenty of other spots nearby we would recommend instead.

    My friend and I met for dinner there on Sunday evening, and shared a very good bottle of Pinot Grigio. We also split the Tuscany salad, but I didn't care for it much. She ordered the hanger steak which was a little overcooked but she ate it anyway, and I had the bronzini which was delicious but the portion was too small. We decided to share the ricotta cheesecake which was supposed to come with blueberry compote but the waitress said they were "out of the compote" and gave us a small dish of plain blueberries instead, which we considered a poor substitute. I'm not sure I will come rushing back here anytime soon...

    I love coming here every time. The vibe is perfect. Everyone is always so nice and they’re always paying attention to your needs. Whenever I bring a friend here, they always come back and bring their friends too. It’s such a gem, I almost feel bad about exposing my favorite secret with everyone.

    Looked for a brunch place on the UWS and looking through available times, this restaurant popped up. We entered a very buzzy, neighborhood place. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess, however, she did not seat us until our entire table was there, in spite of a reservation. I always find that to be a bit annoying and nonsensical, but whatever. It was very busy and took time to get us a waiter for a food or coffee order. Not too bothersome but we did have to ask twice for a simple coffee. What was great were unlimited mimosas, bloody marys, etc. with brunch. My eggs over easy with sausage was overcooked, they weren't runny as they should be, but I knew since it was so crowded I'd never get it redone by the kitchen in time. One of our party ordered a salad and it was large and fresh looking. Another had steak and eggs, which looked very good. I wasn't completely disappointed and would go back in spite of some bumps. It's a great little neighborhood place and very friendly.

    We had relatives in from out of town and were a party of five. There were wonderful choices for each and every one of us and everything was delicious. The service was attentive and made us feel special. It was simply a lovely night out dining and we had a great time!
