Amazing from start to finish. Scott made us feel welcome and Carol saw us off after a fantastic feast. We cannot praise the Wheatsheaf highly enough.

Good parking. Nice tables plenty of room. Lovely knowledgeable staff. Comprehensive menu. Food well cooked and presented. Good selection of beers and spirits.

Lovely stopover spacious room. Breakfast great pre-book on arrival good idea lots of selection. We had meal in restaurant which was lovely cooked fresh to order so there is a wait but well worth and not expensive. Lovely little pub which has won lots of awards and customer service is great even the chef came out to check everything ok and at breakfast. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Have visited for Breakfast Buffet on several occasions. Choice is very varied and something for everyone. Food has always been excellent however on the last but one occasion the pancakes were a let down - not cooked, waiting for one to be cooked but given to another guest who had just requested the same. Overall cannot fault the buffet - proper butchers sausages - and lovely choice of yoghurts, ice cream and fresh fruit. Also suitable for gluten free diet on request.

Steak Frite full of gristle which is rare for Cote. Manager didn’t charge for desserts -appreciated them making it right for us…,
