My favorite restaurant in Lincoln. Excellent food, great variety of choices, quick service and staff always very friendly and helpful.

I first saw the Pyewipe from the A46, 4 years ago when my daughter started university in the city. I finally got there on graduation day, and it did not disappoint. I will be returning to visit the city at some point and after yesterday’s visit, I will be stopping there. I had the Stilton Stuffed Chicken Breast with Spring Onion Mash and Stilton Sauce…. It was to die for.

The lunchtime session was extremely busy, with a graduation ceremony in the city. The staff coped extremely well, and efficiently, and the food maintained its usual high standard. The 2/3 course lunch special is exceptional value, given the quality of food.

Quick bite to eat after son’s graduation.,very busy , plenty of efficient and friendly staff. We were short on time due to having to catch a train home, I advised our waitress and she was so helpful ensuring our food and drink arrived very promptly. Food delicious, fresh and hot , lovely rose Rioja , a bottle of water was on the table when we sat down which I always appreciate. Maitre d made a fuss of all the diners who had graduated and they were gifted a lovely ole ole bottle opener and complimentary caramel liqueur. Perfect ! Sadly unlikely to ever visit again as our son’s time in Lincoln is over. Thoroughly recommend.

A nice quiet restaurant upstairs at the Grainstore, tables spaced out, no dogs and the no us of being able to book. Able to relax over a meal and not feel hurried. I have been before and recommended it to others.
