Wow! What a gem. We travelled from South Gloucestershire on a shopping trip to Clarks village, so booked Sunday lunch as this wonderful pub is not far (15 mins) . The food was amazing, we couldn’t fault anything. One of the best roasts! We had the belly of pork, which was perfectly cooked with a variety of vegetables. We received a warm welcome from every member of staff. Service was great . Wouid highly recommend.

Another very enjoyable meal at the Cross Keys in Sherborne, Dorset. The staff were very friendly and efficient, the allotted table was well positioned and the food was excellent as was the house red and white wines. We shall definitely return.

I love this place and we go approx twice a year. Only because of the distance from home but also so it remains "special". The garden is a delight whatever season you visit. The menu accommodates all parties and is always interesting and a twist different. I brought my English friend who now lives in Australia and she said it was simply the best food she'd had. She loved the walled garden too- it made her a bit homesick. Great value for the standard and quality and quantity of food. Excellent drink choices especially their Sprigster range. Highly recommend 👌
