My husband and I love Regina's. The food is consistent and the service is great. We are a regular there!
As usual, the service and food was great
We brought my cousin there to celebrate a special birthday. 2 hrs into the meal, s private party at the bar was taking place and the dj music was deafening.
We had to leave.
Additionally, I had a Groupon and told the server as soon as we sat down. As I handed him the print out, I marked it redeemed on my phone. He argued that he couldn’t accept it since it had been redeemed. He gave me a very hard time and finally when I showed him on the app the exact time I redeemed it, he accepted it.
However they did put a candle in the dessert of our guest as requested.
I will not be returning
Tried this place last night based on it coming up on my open table app as a good choice based on ratings. The food was terrible. My salmon was over cooked, taste like it came from a bag previously frozen. My husbands rib eye was more like a Salisbury steak. Mash potatoes were dusty tasting like from a box. Waste of money but at least we gave it a try. Hard to find decent food these days unless you go to manhattan.
The bar area was really loud. Didn’t bother us so much but if your seeking quiet type dinner, this is not your spot.
Friday night noise levels measured at 85-90 db (App on Smartphone). Overpriced for mediocre steak and veal chop. (medium rare ordered, pulsating delivered and had to be sent back)
Service was excellent. Staff very attentive. Food was ok but not up to par with previous visits.
We went on a Monday night for our belated valentines date- when we sat down the dining room was completely empty aside from two other tables but for some unknown reason we were sat directly next to both of them ( the rest of the dining room was absolutely empty) one of the tables contained a child which was not the issue she was well behaved- the adults however at the second table were practically yelling at each other and having an argument.... not the best while we were trying to have quiet romantic conversaition- fantastic food and great wine but if you were to make a reservation make sure to request a quiet table even if you think it’s gonna be a slow night lest you be sat next to an arguing couple and a kid on your special date night.
Great staff. Focused on a positive experience!
WE enjoyed our dinner at Regina's. Drinks were outstanding. Servers were attentive. Crab-cake and Mahi mahi were excellent. My husband's seafood pasta was much too salty and he could not eat it. This was the only negative.
Food was cooked exactly as ordered. Service was superb. waiters attentive of your needs.
Not happy to see pre-fix menu without any warning. For a “steakhouse” the choices were odd as was the too thickly sliced beef carpaccio Odd choice to serve beef Wellington. Had more fish options than beef. Gravy in veal tbine was odd too. Desert was still frozen.
It was our anniversary. Place was extremely noisy . Food was good, but my swordfish was overdone and full of seasoning. Sent it back and now it wasn’t cool. Sent back again and this time it was cooked and cut like rubber. Horrible. Made me quite sick that night . Very disturbing that management never came to see if I was ok
Regina's never fails to impress me. Whether I have a business meal of 2 or 15, the service and food are always exceptional. I will use them over and over again as everyone leaves happy.
Always a terrific meal. Excellent service, and very relaxed.
Great atmosphere, food was delicious, service impeccable
When friendly, professional, caring and delicious meet, it is called Regina's. The menu is large enough to satisfy and small enough not to overwhelm. The entire staff is caring and doting and nothing is too much.
The steaks are tender, delicious and prepared exactly as ordered. Appetizers are all terrific, especially the surprising lobster roll. All the sides are freshly prepared and always al dente or whipped to perfection.
Looking forward to coming back.
Went with 2 others for a nice dinner. Great value for quality and quantity. Nice service too.
Everything was delicious! Steak was cooked perfectly!
It’s all about the beef. This is a real “joint”. The bar scene is inyeresti g but go for the meat! One if the best filets in town.
They know how to cook a steak! Great but simple sides.
One of my favorite steakhouses anywhere
We’ve been to Regina’s about 6 times and it’s been very good with food and service every time. Little noisy, especially if the bar is crowded but the steaks are great and the service very friendly.
This is the second time we have been there in the past couple of months and have been so pleased both times. Friendly, attentive service that is never overbearing, steaks that were cooked perfectly and came with a generous and delicious salad, and just a generally lovely experience. We will surely go back!
Such a reliable place--always a warm welcome, excellent service and really good food. Tonight a lobster roll and mussels. The lobster roll was a mix of lobster and chopped veggies in a lightly fried wrapper (kind of like a Chinese egg roll). It was outstanding. The mussels were plentiful, tender in a flavorful broth. We will be back soon!
great happy hour drinks . then we had a great diner . place was hopping with holiday parties
While Regina's is never superb it is always very good. Warm bread is brought to the table after arrival. They are willing to make substitutions. My wife had salmon which was slightly overdone. I had a strip steak which I requested medium but was more medium rare. All steak orders come with a salad but not the salmon. Otherwise steak orders come with no vegetables so a side must be ordered for extra cost. Service is very professional and attentive. Portions are generous so we skipped dessert.
I love this restaurant. I’ve never had a bad experience and the food is great!
The bar is full of jovial people eating and drinking, The dining room is lovely with candles burning on every table, white cloth and dark cloth napkins. Seats are comfortable. Service is immediate--water filled glasses and bread & butter at the table with menus. The server told us the specials and handed us menus. Their strip steak was flavorful but a bit tough and the roast 1/2 chicken was crispy, full of juice and the creamed spinach delicious. The jus served with the chicken was a welcome addition to the plate, not that it needed it but it was really tasty.
All of the staff is pleasant and really seems to care if you are enjoying your meal. Will definitely return.
Regina's was simply amazing. Will be going back. The only thing we did not like was that we could not do 2 checks per table. We meet loved ones in the parking lot and would have enjoyed spending time with them. Can't wait to go back.
The food and service never disappoint. I had the special (surf and turf) it was great. The sides are big enough to share. Always try and get in for dinner when I'm in the area. You won't be disappointed.
Great! food good restaurant been there a long time. Familiar to locals.
Excellent food but loud beyond comfort. The bar scene smothered the dining room.
This was our second visit to Regina's! No matter what night of the week there was a large crowd in the bar, very friendly and welcoming. The music in the bar is quite loud, the dining room towards the street is further from the music and more conducive to having a conversation! On a Wednesday night at 7 p.m. a full six piece band was in the main dining room, phenomenal music a great vibe but definitely not perfect for a quiet dinner. The cowboy ribeye steak is unbelievable, Daily Soup specials both nights amazing... definitely worth a visit
We had an excellent meal with great service last weekend at Regina’s. We have never been disappointed going there.
The staff was friendly. The service was just okay. The food was good The restaurant However is way too noisy. You literally need to scream at the person sitting across from you.
Food was good, service was fine. The problem was that it was loud. They had a DJ in the bar and it all spilled over into the restaurant. It was hard to have a conversation. I would recommend it but advise you to check first about the potential noise level.
Great restaurant , great food , great service ,
Reasonable prices , good location .
Very good food, the service is paced a little to slow for my taste, but overall a very nice place to eat.
very good food, nice looking place. Had steak- great, cream spinach outstanding and great sal
Great spot. Good steaks and service. Good wine list.
This was our third time here and it was superb. Very friendly management and servers--especially Benny. Nothing is overlooked and everything is delicious. NY Strip steak and lamb chops--perfectly prepared and seasoned; garlic mashed potatoes were good and in huge portion. Apple crumble pie was excellent as was the scoop of ice cream.
Looking forward returning.
Many reviews mention the noise level. We arrived rather early and the music had just started before we left, but seated in the far room, it was quite manageable.
I've been here a few times, admittedly with a Groupon, but I wouldn't return if the quality wasn't good. I come back for the Cowboy Ribeye, which has been tender, flavorful and well cooked each time. It's enough for 2 (with a lunch left over) once you've shared some soup and salad. I particularity like their version of onion soup, with a cheese covered slice of bread, which someone found unwieldy, but is actually a nice touch. Not too salty either as is often the case. Neither was the tasty creamed spinach. A baked potato was enormous and could have benefited from a few more moments in the oven. The apple crumble dessert was very good.
The service was attentive and the wait to order or get the check not unreasonable. If anything my only complaint was that the dinner followed on the heals of our appetizers so quickly that we hadn't yet finished our salads. While I knew what I was planing on ordering I overheard offering suggestions and accepting substitutions at neighboring tables.
While overall perhaps not on a par with some of the well known steakhouses and chains, neither are the prices of the steaks (sides, salads, and desserts are similar.) The ribeye is almost a third less than Morton's or Capital Grill but it was certainly enjoyable. And while it isn't a Peter Lugar either, at least I didn't have to drive to Brooklyn! I would classify this as a neighborhood gem.
