I booked on open table but I think refinery has their own reservation system that this was not fully in there system. I got emails and txt as if my reservation had been overlooked. When I was there we were told we had a time limit on the table Which made the experience feel stressful as we were reminded of this during our time at refinery

We were in NYC for a long weekend. We booked this restaurant 2 weeks in advance. We loved the experience there. The appetizers were delicious and the drinks were fun! We were seated on the couches outside and it was a really gorgeous day outside. We had the view of the Empire State Building behind us. Our service was really good as well. I would highly recommend this place for a date, after work, night out with the guys/girls.

With a limited lunch menu and fresh ingredients, Rooftop serves nice food. Outstanding, however, are the staff and ambiance of this stunning penthouse eatery. It’s also an excellent stop for a cocktail or wine after a busy day in the city. We’ll definitely be back to see the culinary progress.

Food and service were okay, but the restaurant should accept Apple Pay. Didn’t have cash or physical credit card, so I had to go back to my office to get a credit card, leaving my lunch companion at the table. Ambiance on patio was very nice.

It was delightful in every way. The space is very NY with a cool vibe. The staff is so approachable and kind. The man who seated us was particularly lovely. The view of the Empire State Building makes the experience even that much more enjoyable. Drinks and food were good too! We’ll definitely be back.

Awesome ambiance, lovely view, and good music. They also have a very chic Christmas decor which is perfect for pics. The drinks were average but the ambiance made up for it. For lunch, we tried the veggie sliders and the butter squash flatbread. Both items items pretty good. I would definitely return to try other menu items.

I hosted a former colleague and other family members from Australia for lunch. Right from stepping off the elevator it felt like this was going to a very good experience...and it was. We were greeted with a warm welcome and reception was most accommodating to a last minute addition to our party. The menu is varied for a broad range of tastes, and the service was professional, helpful and friendly. Our server, Mackenzie was incredible. Most of the party was visiting the USA/NYC for the first time. There are differences, and Mackenzie was patient and most interested in making certain everyone was well served and happy.

The waitstaff at the Refinery Rooftop is always cordial and attentive, and the food is terrific—the lobster roll one of the best in the city, and the fried calamari comes with a bit of jalapeño that gives it a bright and unexpected punch. And the view of the Empire State Building is always impressive.

Amazing views of the Empire State Building! Great food, the Lobster Roll was delicious as was the Kale Salad. I have come here for a casual dinner and drinks and also for lunch, and both times were wonderful.

Good food, not great, understaffed, waiters working very hard, but forgetting stuff, a bit disorganized. Great place on the roof, nice location. For us this was late bday celebration, they brought us a piece of cake after we asked for the check which was a bit awkward.

The salads we're good. The flatbread was bad, poor dough, skimpy and overcooked toppings. The planked chairs were uncomfortable. The open space was nice.

Loved everything about this place! The ambiance was perfect and I loved the vibes of the exposed brick, the rooftop patio, the glass ceiling, and hanging plants. The food was delicious and fresh and the cocktails/drinks were great. Not extremely overpriced considering it’s Manhattan and the views of the Empire State Building made it all even more worth it. Highly recommend this place to locals and tourists alike!

Experience was ok- they originally sat us outside with no heaters, when there were open tables inside. We asked for a heater because they had multiple on other tables. After they couldn’t accommodate outside, we were moved inside.
