Reel Club has a new triple ceviche option. Order it. You will not be disappointed. Salmon avocado, lobster shrimp, and tuna watermelon, this last one AMAZING. I ordered the scallops on a bed of "risotto" farro. I brought some scallops home! My husband had salmon and enjoyed it entirely. Our waitress was peach. Always delicious, but the ceviche deserves special mention...
Food and service were OUTSTANDING!!! A bit pricy. But we truly enjoyed our evening
We asked for a different table and they immediately accommodated our request. The food was good. The waiter was attentive but not in our face. Overall an enjoyable evening.
The restaurant is about a 40 minute drive from my house, but has always proved to be worth the drive. I ordered the ginger-glazed salmon for lunch, and it was delicious. The only negative was that, although I asked for a quiet table, we were seated between two large tables of birthday celebrants, making the noise level rather unpleasant until the parties broke up. Overall, it was still a very satisfactory meal.
We have dined here several times and always had a good experience, tonight was different. My son ordered the King crab and it was very dry and had no flavor at all, not to mention that the legs were not cracked at all and very difficult to eat. The meat was mushy and flavorless. My husband and I each had the snapper which was mediocre and a small portion. We had a shrimp cocktail which was good but we had to ask that it be brought out after the waiter brought the drawn butter for the crab, in the past our appetizers were delivered very quickly. We were very disappointed in the meal and service tonight and may not go back.
The dishes we each chose were so tasty and fresh. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and very attentive.
It was our families first time eating here. We started out with the calamari and the blue oysters. The blue oysters were fantastic I was a little disappointed in the calamari though.
We ordered the shrimp chop salad, beer battered fish being Friday and Lent. My son had the lobster tail and I must say everything tasted delicious. We did have dessert I had the Mounds with ice cream which was to die for. Our server was phenomenal really enjoyed him.
We will definitely be eating hear again and highly recommend too others.
The popovers and appetizer veggie rolls were delicious! Then dessert...our table shared the Mounds dessert and Salted Caramel pie...will be back for sure!
Not sure what happened to this restaurant but it was horrible. We had been there numerous times over the years and it was excellent. So disappointed!
Kyle is fabulous!
Was there to celebrate a birthday. The food and service were outstanding. Hostess at the door needs to be more friendly. No greeting and never even looked up when talking to me.
The main courses were very good. I had the seafood trio. The wife had the red snapper special. Stay away from the deserts. They claim they are home made. My wife had the chocolate mousse cake, it tastes like a store bought frozen cake. I had the coconut banana pie and there were only two pieces of banana inside.
The reception desk was alert, seating us immediately. Our waiter was attentive, and answered our questions without hesitation. Cocktail and wine service was prompt, and the wine selection offered enough by-the-glass selections to cover the menu selections. I had the Mahi fish taco, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The Dragon Roll was just OK. The rice was a bit mushy, but the seafood flavors were fresh. (I probably wouldn't order that item again - I really like sushi, and this roll didn't cut it.) I would go back to this restaurant, but I would probably go for dishes that didn't require too much preparation.
Service and food was great! Fun night! Hadn't been there for a while so happy to have gone back. Wont wait so long to go back!
haven't eaten at Reel Club in a few years...it use to be a favorite BUT the restaurant interior seemed run down. We were seated in a booth in in the path of the restrooms and had a continuous stream of people walking back and forth the entire evening!! Some people thought it was appropriate to stop in front of our booth to talk!! Also at 7:00pm lots of small kids screaming and babies (that should have been in bed) crying!
PROBABLY NEVER COME BACK!
The food and service were very good tonight. I appreciate you getting lobsters for our dinner.
I noticed that the managers were doing the work of the servers tonight. Did you have a shortage of servers or table cleaners?
Until this most recent frequent visit, I would have easily said the Sunday Brunch was the best brunch I have ever been too. In fact, I wish I had posted something sooner, although I have told many people about the amazing brunch at The Reel Club. Sadly, it seems the restaurant has decided to cut back on some things, including the mimosas and hand desserts. While it may not seem like a lot, the changes to maximize profitability are the very things that will cause us to stop coming. We travel 45 minutes each way to enjoy the “best brunch ever”. Hopefully, they bring it back soon!
This is the second time we've been disappointed with their brunch. Literally the crab leg pieces on the buffet were covered in ice. Frozen solid. Inedible. The shrimp had a fishy taste to them. On top of that they discontinued the unlimited mimosas.
Hello, the brunch was great, no complaints here. The service was a bit slow... Our server was nice, he came to the table to introduce and explain the brunch. Then he was no where to be seen. I kept seeing other servers pass by and asked 3 times that our server was no whereto be found. We were celebrating a friends bday.
We have been to Reel Club in the past with great experiences. Unfortunately this was not one of those. The bacon wrapped shrimp was tough, the popovers were doughy inside, the Chilean sea bass was fishy tasting , the green beans were hot but hard as a rock, and the garlic mashed potatoes were cold. A really disappointing experience.
Excellent menu, attentive service, great seafood. The lobster roll was wonderful and the fish and chips was great. The clam chowder was the best we've had outside of Boston. Will be coming back for lunch soon.
We always enjoy reel club. Even if someone doesn’t like seafood there are some great option like chicken or a nice filet mignon. Great food isn’t cheap though...
Special end of week Friday during Lent dinner was delicious and very relaxing! We had clam chowder soup, green salad with grilled shrimp, Greek style salmon, and lemon meringue pie! I would do a repeat on everything. Their gluten free buns are yummy also.
Food and service was excellent!! Our waitress was wonderful and never rushed us to order our food. She took our appetizer order and waited for us to finish the meal before taking the main course. I really appreciate that!!
Absolutely the best shrimp cocktail I’ve ever had!
Food was fair but not that good. Service was okay too.
The place was very empty. It seems to have changed for the worse since your business profile was reorganized to make you part of Capital Grill.
I like it better when you were part of the Sea Food group of foods.
Food is always great. Service is always top notch.
We had a relaxed dinner, before a theater event. The service was impeccable, well timed, not rushed and the wait staff was unobtrusive. The food was outstanding, well prepared and presented. We live more than a half hour's drive away from the restaurant, and the trip is well worth the dining experience. All around outstanding.
The food and service were outstanding. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal. It was delicious. Timing was quick from appetizers to main course and everything cooked perfectly.
Delicious! An Thank You
Waitress was horrible. No customer service. Food taken away without asking. Had to ask for butter, bread and water.
Waiter was rushing us. Fish was greasy. Busboy was make noise at his station. Lots of plate and glass noise.
Service for my last three visits was not good... unattentive, perfunctory staff. This time my friend and I shared an entree after a big salad and appetizer, and the waitress refused to split it in the back for us. We were unable to split the fish entree without the proper utensil so we asked the water guy to please split it for us. He took it back to the kitchen and a minute later back comes the dish again with the waitress... not split! She huffs and takes it back again... when it returned it was split, but cold fish just is not good. Ate it anyway. The two visits before this one were not good service either. Unfortunate because the food is very good!
Our server was honestly the best server we have ever experienced!
We really like Reel Club but this time felt that we were rushed out door. Just kept hearing that the restaurant was closing and they may not have items that we had requested- like bread?
I have dined here many times. Usually all good. This time is n the table next to mine a parent changed a diaper on top of the table. The smell of poo filled our area.
I told the server and a manager came to me and said sorry. I told him his staff could have politely informed the guest this was not appropriate. The table was under the eye of my entire party. No sanitation approached the table top, not even a cloth wipe down.
The general manager handled and took of of our bill for a party of 6.
We come here a lot. The food is good and we have always had great service. The prices are decent for the food we get. We love those popovers, too!
Had noon reservations , we were seated promptly and greeted by our server, Javier. He described the brunch menu, took our drink order, and then w/o being intrusive, was attentive to our every need. When he happened to meet my wife as she returned from the buffet and he asked if she needed anything, when she, in jest, mentioned they were out of oysters rockefeller, he went back to the buffet (or maybe kitchen), and brought a plate of oysters rockefeller. Service was wonderful making it a very pleasant experience.
The Sunday brunch was excellent as always!
