Even though the restaurant was relatively empty the server seemed to be rushing us. Food was great!
Oyster rockefeller too dry/overcooked...prime rib not too good quality meat n not tender enough...not enough variety of favorites...table closer to the buffet tables was requested for a handicap in the group when reservation was done online. But receptionists were not aware. Thank you.
👏👏👏👏👏👏 very good
Service was especially slow to start and a little slow throughout our meal, but food was good and service friendly
Our order was screwed up. Our waiter was inattentive. We were treated like it was a hassle until they screwed up the order. I appreciate their efforts to try to remedy it. For a fresh fish restaurant the cookery was lacking. The Mahi Mahi was over cooked. The Parmesan crusted chicken when it did arrive was not properly butchered & it was soggy thus leaving the breading to be more like pudding. When preparing shrimp cocktail you have to clean & devein the shrimp. When you combine bad prep with poor service you have a poor experience.
Everything was very good. The clam chowder was super tasty as was the rest of our food: crab legs, steak, and sides. Shrimp cocktail was meaty, there were 7 shrimp and a superior presentation. Special cherry crostada was delicious for dessert, but mounds bar (a coconut dessert) was not so great. Macaroon cookie on the bottom was hard. I would definitely return. Nice raised booths. Waiter was attentive and told us about the Sunday brunch that we will try.
Great Seafood and Steak menu. Terrific sushi and appetizers. This is definitely on our list to return!
The worse dining experience ever. Service especially the receptionists are bad-no personality. We were rushed and we did not enjoy our brunch. I would never go back or recommend this restaurant to anybody. Stay away!!!
The food was very good. It was a Mother's Day brunch menu and there were lots of options including premium items like crab legs and shrimp.
The only negative was that we waited a long time to be served once we were seated.
Been here many times, but this was very disappointing. Food quality has significantly decreased. Mother’s Day brunch was more like sub-par wedding caterer. Likely won’t return.
I visited with my mom, husband and children for Mother’s Day brunch. My party arrived and was ignored from the time we entered until my husband located a manager. We were at the hostess stand for about 5 minutes before being noticed. After being seated, no one greeted us and as my husband tried to get the attention of servers passing by they kept walking. It wasn’t until he stood in the aisle and literally said, “excuse me, anybody” while waiving his hands did someone ask if they could help. This was totally unacceptable. Once the server came to the table he was really nice and personable. Unfortunately, we had to once again wave down someone to clear the dirty plates several times. The food was delicious and our server was good, unfortunately our overall experience was terrible.
First time here. Came here for Mother's Day brunch which was OUTSTANDING. Wide variety of seafood choices, breakfast choices, salads, desserts, EVERYTHING. Great value for the money. Service was excellent. Our waitress was absolutely the best. She treated us like kings and queens!!!! Will definitely come back here.
The food was incredible, but hard to get to because the buffet was in such a tight space. The size of the isles with as many patrons that were present made it rather difficult.
Went with kids and grandkids for brunch on Mother’s Day. Lots of fish and seafood offerings on the buffet and all we tried were very good. Really liked the smoked salmon. Large selection of dishes and everyone liked what they chose. Service was attentive and a few special requests were quickly filled.
It is a great restaurant. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food. Ww will come again soon.
Food is overpriced for a place with too ma y tables stacked on top of each other. Food didn’t seem too fresh.
We enjoyed the food and service. We had made a reservation on open table early in the week and yet still had to wait almost 20 minutes past our reservation time. This was disappointing. Everything else was great.
The service was great and so was the food. I 'll come again and recommend to others.
One of the things I like about this restaurant is that many of the desserts come in half portions. Sweet tooth is satisfied without stuffing yourself after a wonderful meal. The popovers are delicious. I had the 1 and 1/2 pound lobster which was cooked to perfection.
Food wasn’t very good
Usually I love going to the Reel Club for their California Rolls! This time they weren't good - I had quite a few shells (from the crab) in my rolls -- I would have told the waiter, but he wasn't very attentive.
Great sea food buffet! There is even enough choices who may have shellfish allergies. Prime rib was not cooked to my liking at the carving station, our waitress took to kitchen to have cooked to my liking and it was done perfectly!
Service was great both at the bar and at the table. My wife’s food was good but my meal was a little disappointing.
Excellent food and menu; a variety of options but not too many. Very friendly and attentive staff.
Excellent food & friendly service.
Good food, good service. However, they seemed a little understaffed for number of patrons. Our server was really running to keep up.
Always a pleasure to dine at RC. The halibut special was fabulous; 3 of the 4 of us had it. Good Lobster Mac and cheese to share and nice starters, such as sashimi (very fresh), chowder and shrimp cocktail. Kyle was a great server; she gave us plenty of time to visit with our friends. The wine list is very good, if you like wine by the bottle.
Mediocre food and poor service. Also had worst table right by kitchen entry with no door, constant sound of plates banging and staff shouting
service was not very attentive nor was he engaged in speaking with us. The food quality has diminished in the last few years. the menu offerings were standard - nothing exciting or different.
Everything was wonderful! We’ve never been disappointed at Reel Club. Crunchy munchy shrimp is a must!
Food And ambience was excellent.
Lots of good choices. The server and manager were both very attentive and considerate of our dietary needs. The fish was very good but dessert was absolutely fabulous!!! All in all it was a great meal.
Food was good tonight. Service was very good.
I don't feel that Reel Club is a classy restaurant.
One pound of king crab legs consisted of two claws with all knuckles, no actual leg/thighs. Quality was average at best and price was steep. Daughters Chilean sea bass was a very generous portion with good sauce but sadly was not the flaky light and tender filet one expects, it was rather meaty, more like swordfish. The scallops my wife ordered also was a generous portion and a few were “sandy” the remainder very good. All in all, for the money, would go elsewhere for fine seafood.
The trout is always good there. Popovers are always a hit.
Food was great, service ok, little pricy.
Go for the cheese popovers, stay for some seafood, which is good but not outstanding. The clam chowder was made with bacon and tasted overly salted. The caeser salad was large and excellent with cheese croutons...much tastier than bread croutons. Our fish entrees of whitefish and halibut were, as I said, good and came with large sides of spinach and mash potatoes. Wines by the glass in all of the LEYE restaurants have always been on the predictable and unmemorable side and they were that again at this dinner. The staff was most accommodating in changing our table due to being seated directly under a cold air conditioning blower/vent. Our wait person was friendly and attentive but needed to learn to stop saying "you guys" and referring to us as "we"....as in "are WE ready to order yet and do WE have room for dessert?" That would help make for a more polished experience.
But, WE will return again for dinner and those melt-in-your-mouth popovers.
Very good food. Somewhat expensive but wine, dinner and dessert were very good. Good service also. Definitely recommended- just bring extra money. Valet service available, which is also very nice.
Food was great and server Javier was excellent
Dante, our server, did an outstanding job
