Their online brunch menu looked great so we made reservations. We were seated and given a single drink menu. Eventually someone asked if we wanted drinks. We had to ask for menus to find out it was a buffet. We checked the buffet and there were three empty hot trays and nothing that was on the online menu. We left without eating. Disappointing.

SUPER SUPER small food portions. No bread at the beginning of the meal. Used to be our favorite place to go to but not anymore. Won’t be going back.

We have enjoyed the Redwater locations in the past but hadn't been there in a while. This time we and our guests were disappointed. The wine prices seem to be very high - $95, plus charges, for Catena Malbec!

We used to booked Redwater for many special family occasions, but after a previous extremely poor experience last spring (over 1.5hrs to receive food after ordering) we decided to give it one more try. and are now unlikely to return again. Unfortunately, this experience was just "ok". Speed of service wasn't an issue this time, but food no longer seems to be worth the cost - parmesan fries without parmesan, garlic bread that was the equivalent of their previously complimentary bread and had no garlic, and cold asparagus. Steak was unevenly cooked - mostly to order, but parts way too rare. Not a place I can trust for a special occasion any longer.

Redwater Grill is one of our favourite restaurants.
On this occasion the service was friendly and professional as always, but the meal service very slow. Enjoyed our food and the visit with old friends. Lovely ambiance

The short staffing meant our server didn't even have time to take a picture for us and his attitude was terrible as a result. Food was very disappointing.

Never go back. Went on a gift card and was very disappointed. My husband had their special and was so dissatisfied they removed it from the bill. Even the crab stuffed mushroom appy was mostly cream cheese. Would only go again for a drink and maybe appys.

Loved the surf and turf. Could use a larger serving of veggies with it and next time will get sauce on the side but otherwise a great dish.

They had just opened so it was quiet. I ordered a medium steak and it came out still super bloody. He took it back to cook more and still came back bloody. It definitely wasn't medium, it was rare. They didn't offer a discount or anything, and I didn't finish my steak. Otherwise good service.

Choose Redwater Rustic Grille for our anniversary dinner because of the pond view and the possibility of getting to sit outside. It turned out to be too cold for that but we still enjoyed a good view of the pond from our window seat. The food was delicious and that service was prompt and friendly. We would definitely go back.

Sorry to have to report that we were very disappointed in most everything. The service was slow because there were too few waitresses--- 2 is not enough to do an adequate job. The waitress was very pleasant and accommodating but just too busy. She told us there were only 2 in the kitchen as well. We thought we were going to have lunch but no, only brunch was served on a Saturday. That was very disappointing! We did manage to get some soup that was Luke warm. At one point we were going to go to Original Joe's next door but the majority agreed to stay.
The complimentary birthday cake was a very nice touch. This restaurant will not get good reviews until the owner hires more staff.

Do not go this restaurant on a Sunday evening. Items on the menu will not be available. The substitute also had only one item. The quality of the Prime Ribbon was below standard, it would not yield to a steak knife. The later evening Manager refused to deduct from Bill but offered desert which was supposed to be included according to Manager at time of ordering. I will not insult anyone by recommending this restaurant.

The restaurant was pretty quiet for a Friday night, we had reservations but didn't need them. Had the calamari as an appetizer and it was good but things went downhill from there. It took an hour and a half to get out main courses, margarita pizza was cold and the medium rare steak was blue rare.
Had high expectations of Red Water but were extremely disappointed

There was an 'issue' in the kitchen last Friday night that resulted in delays between seating and serving.
We were not in a rush, and accepted the delay... the food was wonderful.
Other guest were less obliging of the delay, but we saw the Manager repeatedly intervene to try to mitigate the 'issue'.

We'd eaten here before and it was my husband's suggestion as a place to celebrate his birthday. Though we had a reservation, the table was not prepared for us, the table we were shown to had not been properly cleaned, even breadcrumbs on there. Overall we found the server brisk and not very interested. Our appetizer took a long time to arrive, and was not what we ordered but this was handled very pleasantly. Our main meals when delivered had obviously been under the warmer a long time and we thought later we should not have ordered them at the same time as the appetiser. We found the restaurant a bit grimy and run down looking. Would not go back to this location.

very nice place very good service very cool spot but the food was below average which was disappointing. i had mash potatoes with my meal and i didn't even get an ice cream scoop size serving and the taste of my small serving of mashed potatoes was horrible. the fact that i could get better mash at a chain restaurant disappointed me and would prevent me from going back. nice place tho

Our table for four had excellent service from, water wine, salad, entrees, and coffee. Everything was delicious and there was a hum of satisfied customers inside and happy people on the patio. Very pleasant.

Food was mediocre at best. I had the salmon and my daughter had the "surf and turf" - both were very bland. I'd heard Redwater was not doing well, but thought I would give it another try. On a Friday night, the restaurant was almost empty. I think I've given up on this place.

I've been enjoying Redwater for many years. This time my two guests were underwhelmed by the Chicken Papparadelle they ordered - the chicken was not of nice quality. They did enjoy their sorbet dessert, while it was my turn to be underwhelmed by the chocolate dessert.
The service was initially good but ended with dirty dishes not being removed from the table for quite some time (server even running to get dessert menus without removing dirty dishes) and then taking a very long time to take a dessert order. I guess he was much busier then than when we first sat down.

Nice outdoor patio on a hot day that stayed cool and had a nice breeze. Staff were excellent in providing additional umbrella shade when it was needed. Service was prompt but the food took a long time to arrive, which was surprising considering the small number of patrons. Thankfully, we didn't have a time constraint and could be leisurely. The menu is limited, and didn't match what the website said was available. The food was less interesting than the menu suggested. I wouldn't recommend this as a place for foodies.

Even for an almost empty dining room, service was very slow.

We ordered a bottle of wine that wasn't brought out until after we'd already finished our starter and right before our meal came out.

The reason, It turned out they didn't have the bottle we ordered. Twice. Got stuck with the house white.

Also, they only had one type of ice cream, so the chocolate dessert my wife got had salted Careamel ice cream instead of chocolate. And the gelato dessert that was supposed to be three different flavours was just three scoops of the same kind lol.

For a babysitter date night out I unfortunately got would up and dint enjoy it as much as I was looking forward to.

Sat on the patio where there was little noise.
Fabulous service!
Had starter of calamari - it sure could have used some more spice as it was bland.
My main was the spicy sausage pizza. Pretty good and I took the leftovers home.
Good selection of wine.

Th food and scenery were great. The severs were polite and friendly. The only problem was: I had requested, upon online reservation, for a bouquet of flower on our table as it was our anniversary. I didn't get any feedback. So, the assumption was there would be no problem and it would be provided. But when we got there, there wasn't any flower and surprisingly, no one was even aware of such a request. When I made an inquiry about the subject I was told the manager was not around and was on vacation. I was thinking if it is part of the online reservation form, somebody should possibly takes care of it and have a look at them. They could have sent me a feedback as the request could be done or not. It was completely ignored.
This was a little disappointing and probably needs to be looked into a bit closer for future.

quality of food has come down significantly. Surf n' turf was nothing to brag about. seafood Linguine was ok. Not much seafood. Sad when the kids meal is better than the entrées. However, the veggie Platter for kids was simply a bunch of celery and a dip. Service however was excellent. For what we paid, the quality of food was definitely not worth it. Regional thoroughly disappointing

The food was delicious, service excellent. I find the menu rather small, but everything on it is consistent and tasty. It is our go to restaurant as it is near our home.

Our daughter eats Palio due to allergies - the could be more palio friendly, and include a couple more vegetarian selections.

We were extremely disappointed in our visit last week. The service was very slow despite the restaurant being almost empty, and worst of all the food was terrible. My friends had burgers and I had the tuna burger and the buns were so dry they crumbled and couldn't hold together. I've eaten there years ago but it sounds like it has really gone downhill. We will not be back.
