Redstone American Grill - Plymouth Meeting Ratings and Reviews
We made a reservation, which really worked out nicely. There was a significant wait otherwise (Friday night at dinner time). The food was amazing. Definitely some unique choices. Service was a little slow and it was a but noisey, but would definitely come back for the food!
My server Erica B was outstanding!!! The manager Megan was great as well. Erica is the bartender as well as working the tables!! Can't say enough about her. Will come in to see her at the bar, my favorite drink is there!!
Note to Megan. Call corporate, ask them to add a create your own for eggs. This way people on diets can come too!!!
Otherwise a wonderful Sunday morning!!
Redstone excels in great food and reasonable pricing. Our lunch was a business meeting so we needed some quite and a waiter who was unobtrusive. We got both. The menu included some new offerings that were excellent. This is one of my go to restaurants for business lunches.
As always everything was very good as it relates to food and service, etc. My only compliant was that in booking I requested a booth and when I got there for the meeting, with others already seated, we were at an open table and not a booth. Not sure they viewed the comments section with the request
Consistently solid fare served in a comfortable setting. Prices are high (my opinion) for the food delivered. I would not be coming here for a $40 steak. Rack of ribs were well prepared ($28 for a full rack). Meat was tender and fell of the bone. Came out with cold french fries which took ten minutes to get replaced. Perfectly prepared hamburger nicely split for the two women sharing it. Beer originally ordered was not available, but was not informed of that fact until the server's return from the bar. Sat outside on a beautiful night in a very comfortable setting. Would certainly return.
I have been to Redstone for lunch before and rarely return due to the high prices for lunch. Disappointing that we ordered fish tacos and chicken with just one ice tea and the bill was $40 for 2 people for lunch. Even for a business lunch that's a little much. The good news is that my business partner loved the mesquite chicken and the fish tacos were very good. (BTW, the next day I had fish tacos at the Whole Food taco truck for $3 each that were equally as good . . . but not the atmosphere.) It will be a long while before I return for lunch again.
This is the second visit to this restaurant where something has come out wrong or not edible at all.
We frequent this place and used to love it but there is something wrong.
The last two times we have gone my salad had gristle in it that I had to spit it out onto my plate.
UGH! Also this past visit I ordered a flat bread that came out raw the first time. Like white and powdery still and they made a second one and the same thing. I think the flat bread was bad.
It tasted uncooked and powdery. The manager was nice enough and took it off the bill but at that time I had to go. Also for 2 sodas an order of buffalo shrimp and coffee it was 53 dollars.
I eat out all the time and never complain about price but it seems the prices are increasing and the quality is going down. This is a great place and we love it but it is getting tired looking and is in need of an update and also something needs to be corrected in the kitchen if this is the quality of food you get for these prices. I am sharing because you can't fix what you don't know about. Sorry but I would like to see you get back on track.
