Redstone American Grill - Plymouth Meeting Ratings and Reviews
Waiter was "surly" and treated us like we were an imposition on his time. Noise level was so loud that we had trouble hearing our conversation. Food was well prepared and presented and tasted good. Prices were on the high end. Will avoid returning to this restaurant.
This restaurant is a great "go-to" place for my family. Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Everyone can always find something on the menu that is great. The cornbread is a must and buffalo shrimp. Centrally located, to all my families locations - its a great place to enjoy each other and have a great meal. Service is on point and everyone is friendly and fun! Would recommend this place over and over again.
From the moment we walked in we were impressed. Beautiful ambiance and patio. Our server Mike was very knowledgeable and prompt. We had some cocktails which were great and jerk chicken fondue app which was clever and delicious. I had the beef wellington and my wife had the walleye. Buffalo shrimp looked great. I'll defiantly try that next time. Each had a glass of merit age from karamoor a wonderful local Vinyard.
Service was fine but on this occasion the dinner was not as great as in the past. My wife and I ordered the Short Ribs and they were nothing like we enjoyed before. My wife ordered French Onion Soup and it also was a disappointment. The part of the dinner was the salads. This has not been the case in the past when our meals were an experience that we would want others to share and would recommend.
We would more than recommend Red Stone but will be reluctant to make the big patch that we use to in the past. Maybe this was just one of those bad times and the chef did not put his or her heart into preparing the meals.
Hopefully we will go back again but sometimes restaurants start to go down hill.
I made a reservation in advance to celebrate Sweet 16, and waited 5-10 minutes for seating. My waitress was very nice and checked on our needs frequently. The food was delicious and portions of food was huge, the price point was on point as well. Would definitely go back for any occasion.
My daughters baby back ribs fell off the bone. She said they tasted delightful. I ordered the 14 oz prime rib and my son had a bacon cheeseburger. Food was scrumptious!
Our family of 7 went here for daughter-in-law's birthday. We had been here before, but going on a Saturday night was a mistake. It was so crowded and noisy that we couldn't hear each other talking at our table. We had a reservation, so we were seated right away, but people were waiting in the lobby for at least an hour. Our food choices were very good. We love the salmon burger. It is also one of the most reasonable prices on the overpriced menu. If I was to spend $30 plus for an entrée, I would want it to be in an elegant atmosphere, which this wasn't. The kids entrees were satisfying; one had grilled cheese and the other sliders. The restrooms are not easily handicapped accessible; extra chairs were being stored in the hall to the restrooms, limiting access with canes or walkers. Valet parking was available at the door for $4, which we appreciated, since no close parking spaces were to be seen.
This Redstone has continued to decline in service and food quality. This time we needed to return our steaks 3 times to the point we took them to go. It used to be my favorite restaurant and for my 55th Birthday I chose it over Capital Grille and several local restaurants. I am so disappointed.
