We ordered the crab dip as an appetizer and it came out cold. Two dinners ordered were the Parmesan crusted walleye. They were both good. The third dinner was the special ahi tuna puttanesca. That was not a good dish. The tuna was way over cooked and the sauce had way too much salt in it considering that the olives and capers are already very salty.
Redstone never disappoints!!! Great food, atmosphere and service.
Chilean Sea Bass was amazing!!! Our server Jordan was very helpful in picking out appetizers, cocktails and entrees.
Our waitress, Katie, was very helpful and personable. Ribs, sea bass, burger, and beef Wellington were great. Chocolate cake and cookie sundaes were awesome.
Food was great as usual, we could talk comfortably, server was great. We all enjoyed it tremendously.
Used to be a great place with upscale feel. Service and food have suffered and no longer worth the value. J Alexander’s is a better alternative.
Our waiter was Tim and he was wonderful! I am pregnant and in the middle of the meal wasn’t feeling well and Tim knew how to act without saying a word. Thank you so much!
Our server was very nice and attentive. Our food and drinks were horrible. My husband and I used to come here all the time for date nights and we haven't been in awhile. The quality of food and drinks has gone done and it is nothing like what I remember it to be. The drinks tasted very watered down and bland. We ordered our meals and they came out less than 15 minutes later. Nothing on our plates were hot. I had the prime rib and it was chewy and cold. My husband had the rotisserie chicken and it was also cold and nothing but bones.
Found the restaurant area to be very loud, not enjoyable
The service was great; the ambiance was charming, cozy and romantic. I did not care for my food; dry and tasteless steak in a good salad. My husband’s lasagna bolognese was dry and poorly seasoned. Also I thought the food was quite pricey
I was happy to be able to talk at my own table without loud music. The music level was perfect. In addition, I didn’t have to listen to any other table. The food was fine. They delivered what was promised in the menu. We had ribs and Redstone burger. The ribs were fall off the bone and burger was cooked perfectly.
We totally enjoyed this repeat visit to Redstone. Lot's of good, savory choices on the menu. My shaved prime rib sandwich with rich au jus for dipping was totally satisfying. Our party enjoyed excellent Bulleit Manhattans at the bar before our table was called. Our server, Maria, was totally pro and a huge credit to Redstone's service and hospitality reputation. We'll be back...soon!
Poor service. Inattentive wait staff. Waiter only seemed to address my husband. Never brought drinks we’d ordered. Seemed to have an attitude about us using a gift card. Food was amazing but service left such a bad taste.
This was my go to spot for a great ribeye steak. But lately I’ve been disappointed by the way my steak was cooked and the tenderness of the steak. Maybe they got new cooks or something. I’m gonna give it one more try but I really hope they get their act together.
Excellent service, food, & environment! Love your menu selection as well.
Out of our last four visits this redeemed our third visit. It may be a new regular.
It is a little loud, but otherwise consistently good service, and very good food.
My British wife had the Wellington, and approved, wholeheartedly. I had the ribeye with a corn salsa, and it was just the right amount of heat, and expertly prepared medium rare.
Looking forward to nicer weather so we can enjoy the outdoor seating.
Food is always excellent! Never have had a bad meal. Valerie was such an awesome server. Always helpful and prompt. Even with us being there on Easter. You are lucky to have her. Will be coming back soon
Pleasant environment to have Easter Brunch. The food was pretty good, but I don’t eat meat so there were not many options for me. The service was perfect, our server David did a great job. The desserts were mostly stale, sadly. We got a great fam picture...but the bottom line is that we paid way more than the amount of food we ate. We will probably do Easter at home next year. My husband and I may go back to the Redstone sometime by ourselves though since the service was exceptional.
The food and service were wonderful, as always!! One of our families favorites.
The seating was very tight last night. The kids Mac&Cheese was dry and my Rice pilaf was hard. Please note my waitress was excellent and accommodating.
If you want Applebee’s quality food at Wildfire prices, Redstone is the place for you. Everything is smothered in a sugary glaze that attempts to mask the poor taste of the low quality food, deep fried, or heavily salted.
Our server looked and acted hung-over. The man-bun wearing host pranced around the restaurant in a most bizarre fashion.
Avoid Redstone and go to the Clubhouse,
Reel Club, Wildfire, or any of the nearby Oak Brook restaurants. You will pay the same, but be more satisfied with the food and service. I can’t imagine how Redstone would ever get any repeat business.
Staff was very attentive
Love the Sunday brunch. Enjoying the new donut holes but missing the morning bread.
The food was Great and the service. Love the ambience. My husband and I have been here twice. We were impressed both times. We will definitely return.
We sat at the bar and the crew-specifically Pepe, was outstanding-great suggestions for drinks, apps and dinner-really made the experience that much better!
We had a great evening with family. The menu has lots of variety -- suitable for everyone in our group. We always enjoy our nights out and lunch at Redstone -- I recommend Redstone to everyone.
Went for my husbands birthday. We were seated immediately. The waitress was great and the food was very good.
Service was very good! The buffalo shrimp were amazing! Our dinners were disappointing.
They have a very nice bar with ample seating. Dinner was really tasty.
We loved our waitress (Isabelle) and the meal was excellent! I had the crab cakes, good size portion, delicious fries; my boyfriend had the burger, really good.
Always good. Never disappointing.
The best buffalo shrimp EVER. Always great service and great food.
I had made a booking thru open table, when I went there on 3/17 lunch with 3 of mu business asscoiates , I was schocked that they did not have me in the system, as usual they have to say " sorry "
atleast they could have given some cold drink on the house or any sweet in the end
I was insulted in front of my business clients....NEVER AGAIN THRY OPEN TBLE
Overpriced with a very limited menu
Great food. No bread offered. Extremely expensive. Waitress asked if we wanted anything and then didn’t bring it. So, why ask? Also, like so many restaurant, no dessert options for people who can not tolerate chocolate or dairy.
The quality of the food had diminished tremendously.
Great food and service. I would highly recommend.
Overall our experience was good. My biggest complaint is that we kept smelling garbage. We were sitting somewhat close to the kitchen and bathroom areas, but it was rather disgusting to smell that while trying to enjoy our meal.
Another issue I had was my steak was undercooked. I ordered it well-done and it was Medium to Medium Well at best. I looked for our waitress to ask for them to cook it a little longer, but after about 5 minutes of waiting I gave up and just dealt with it. I was able to eat the Medium Well parts, and then my husband just finished the rest.
Other than that little issue, everything was great!
Good food and drinks! It was my first time there and my boyfriend and I enjoyed it. Waitress was very nice and friendly
