On a Saturday night, really, really loud--way beyond conversational possibilities. I guess that means everyone else was having a great (loud) time.

Food was great and so was the service. Thought it was overpriced for the setting. Looks like it needs a little sprucing up.

Great restaurant with fantastic food, service and bar seating. Never disappoints. Staff is attentive, efficient and friendly. Bartenders are always friendly and conversational without being in your face or obnoxious. The atmosphere is lively but not too loud around the bar, and there are quieter or more intimate areas within the restaurant if that's what you're looking for.

I requested a large, quiet booth and was seated at a booth next to the bar. Other than that, everything was awesome.

We dined here for a special anniversary celebration on a Sunday evening. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience. Our waiter was very scatterbrained and continued to forget even the smallest requests. What was most disappointing, however, was the fact that they were out of many of their dishes. We had to choose, re-choose and re-choose again, because we kept ordering things that they had run out of. There wasn't any notice given to us upon arrival. The manager came over and explained that that happens frequently on Sunday evenings, and it's not the best night to eat out. Huh?

The food and atmosphere were very good, but I realized when I got home that I was charged $4.95 for my friend's virgin Bloody Mary, even though she was not able to drink it and sent it back because it was too spicy. She ordered a diet coke instead and we were also charged for that.

Very nice, comfortable, casual atmosphere but still nice. Service was outstanding. Most of our group had the chef’s brunch with complimentary refills. Left over fed and very happy. Our waitperson was about seven months pregnant, and she busted her smiling self like a marathoner. We waited for *nothing* and she had anything and everything we asked for immediately. She had at least four other tables at the time and they were all happy.

This is one of our favorite restaurants which is a must stop every time we go shopping in Oak Brook. This time was still great, but not quite as special as previous visits. The short ribs were tender but could have been a bit more flavorful. Despite having a reservation, we still had a 15 minute wait. And the server was competent but not as warm as others we have had. The wine list is great, but a tad on the expensive side. Of course, the cornbread is always spectacular. All in all, a pleasant experience, just not up to past standards (which was a very high bar).

Our waiter seemed bored and put out serving us. He had a huge hickey on his neck, appeared hung over, looked disheveled, and was incredibly distracted. Our orders were repeatedly wrong and all they did was comp us for a side salad. Our dinner was $200 and the service we received wasn't in the ballpark of a high quality and fancy restaurant like Redstone.

Disappointed. I have been taking special friends to Redstone for years, lunch, dinner, drinks whenever I wanted to share a wonderful dining experiance. However I was very disappointed this time. Upon walking in I noticed that the decor is looking very tired, the reception area was a mess. We were walked pass a number of open booths and brought to the back party room which was noisy, way too bright and oh so sad looking. It felt like Denny's. Our server was very attentive however, the managing staff shouted across the room as they set tables up for two large parties, with no regard for the guests already seated there. The food was good, however the overall experience was only average. Redstone needs to update their decor and train the management staff to be more aware of their guests. It will be a long time before I return with special guests.

We have been to Redstone 4-5 times in the past usually with good to excellent results. I was a little disappointed this time though. My wife and I ordered a Caesar salad to split. It never came. When we got our main course we mentioned it to the manager but he seemed very ambivalent and actually kind of grumpy. I will say this, the main courses we had were very good but the attitude of the manager really turned us off. If he was a little more apologetic and offered an apology, this would have been forgotten right away. But now it sticks in our memory a little.

We will probably come back again at some point but not for a while.

I wanted to celebrate my birthday here since I heard so many great things about Redstone. Let me tell you...this place is superb! This was my first visit to Redstone and I absolutely loved the food, atmosphere and coziness of this place! I had an amazing time!

My friends brought a cake in and the crew at Redstone placed a sparkling candle on it. I love fireworks so this was absolutely delightful! Thanks Redstone for doing such an outstanding job! I will be back to visit!

Had a wonderful steak dinner there. A nice blend of some unique offerings as well as traditional foods. The steak was excellent and done perfectly. We had the grilled asparagus and root vegetables also, both of them being very good. The service was excellent. We did have a bit of a difficult time locating the restaurant, as there is not a sign outside that is visible from the street. We followed our noses to get there, but it was definitely worth it. It was a bit pricey, however, we visited on Veteran's day when they were offering a discount to Veterans, which was great.

The most awful dining experience of my life. From being seated 45 minutes past our reservation time, to running out of bread and half of our table’s entrees (and not being informed until 30 minutes after order placed) to the sputtering manager who was appalled when I suggested we be compensated for the horrendous experience we were having, I will never set foot in this abomination of a dining establishment again. After wasting two hours of our time, we cancelled our entrees and headed across the street to McCormick and Schmick’s where they welcomed us with open arms and actually fed us.

We were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary. We were welcomed at Reception by first name, which put the evening on a more personal level. Our waitress was attentive and food was excellent. I had a wonderful piece of Prime Rib and my husband had the Parmesan Crusted Walleye. Both were very delicious, along with the Lobster Bisque soup. We decided to have the Warm Chocolate Chip cookie for dessert, and they served it with an extra special sparkler for our anniversary. Someone was there to take our picture too! A very wonderful experience and meal.

It was our 39th anniversary, so we thought we'd spoil ourselves to a nice evening out.
I believe that for the money spent, we could have gotten better food/service elsewhere.
Don't think we will be returning.
Service was just ok, nothing special, food the same.

The food was great. That is the only positive feedback I have.
For the prices the ambiance was lacking. I made reservations for a special occasion, I listed that in my reservation mentioned it to the seating attendant and nothing was done.
We were seated in the 'party' room off in the back - it was packed and so loud we could barely hear conversation at our table.
The wait staff was understaffed. Meals were forgotten, our dessert was delivered to another table and the waiter - it seemed was new. Not someone that should have been waiting on a large group.
For the over $500+ bill we had I walked away not impressed - and very disappointed.
If you are looking for high end dinner options go somewhere else.

This is one of our favorites. The Sea Bass is always excellent, and when I see it on the menu, no question as to what I'm having. Other favorites are the Salmon and Barbecue Ribs, garlic mashed potatoes and roasted root vegetables. We always have a flatbread, which are always excellent. Stoli Doli is a favorite drink of mine. All the food is good here, these are just my preferences. Good service too, always friendly, and helpful.
