Had lunch with high school friends. We have known each other for 50 years! The food was excellent and we appreciated that we could talk. (Not too noisy.)
Waitress was friendly and great, food was very good, everyone had a great time!!
The service and the food were absolutely wonderful! We dine at redstone Minnetonka often but Saturday night everyone and everything was the best
Waitress Laura was the bomb! Very attentive, humorous and pleasant...
redstones is a good restaurant with excellent food. It can be a little noisey at times. We usually go for dinner or happy hour. Nice ambiance, upscale sports bar.
Had lunch with a business client. Food was excellent, service was fast, we were in and out in less than 40 minutes.
Great service from Sarah and excellent food! Be prepared to pay a premium though, as class doesn't come cheap! 👍👍💓💓
Food and service were good. Noise level is too high for meaningful conversation.
Good food & service
Service is good. Food is constantly good and served hot. My only concern is that they raised prices again and it’s just plain overpriced.
I have celiac disease, and it is difficult to eat out with 100% confidence that my food is prepared properly without gluten and cross contamination. I had the sea bass. It was prepared perfectly and I could tell by how I felt in the 24 hours after I dined there that it was totally gluten free.
I had the chicken sandwich and it was outstanding.
Excellent quality and service; everything from reception, hostess, waitstaff and food quality. Always something to look forward to and never a disappointment.
We highly recommend Redstone. Great food and service. We especially like the sea bass, the flatbread and they make a yummy rotisserie turkey sandwich!
Really appreciate a restaurant that will take lunch reservations. I know Redstone is a very popular place and I don’t like to wait for a table. We were seated at my reserved time and were waited on promptly.
We arrived and it wasn't busy but the service was super slow. We ordered and it took forever for our food to come. (we ordered appetizers) When it arrived it was all cold. The server and manager did take it back and re-ordered it for us and then it came out quickly and hot and they comped our food which was very nice. I would probably not go there again though.
Great service and food. However, the noise level was so high we had to almost shout to each other in the same booth. Not a relaxing meal, but would be a great place to meet friends and drink.
We are regulars at Redstone in Minnetonka. We have never had a bad meal there. On this visit, our waitperson was outstanding, and listened to our "Keto" needs, and helped us make smart choices, and requests to accommodate our lifestyle. Food is outstanding. The ambiance during dinner is a little dark/romantic, but there is definitely a bit of background noise to contend with. Prices are a bit high, but since the quality is so good, we splurge once in a while.
The food was great. The staff was awesome. Definitely recommend.
Redstone has good food and great staff. Always consistent, and friendly. A good place to eat. They have a $20 corkage fee and you can bring your own bottle of wine.
The server could not have been sweeter. Food was fair. Better to go for drinks and appetizers then dinner in my opinion.
I really like the fact that the waitress knew her stuff and was making sure we were doing okay and if we like the meal.
I used to go to Redstone all the time when it was separate from Ridgedale mall. This was my first time dining there since they moved to the mall. Everything was just "ok". Not bad, but not great. I feel that the food and service have gone downhill and everything is just mediocre. For the price, I'd like it to be a little more memorable.
No dinner menu for the lunch time! Could not have boned stake for lunch. That was the only set back.
I USUALLY LIKE THE FOOD VERY MUCH AT REDSTONE. ON MY LAST VISIT I ORDERED THE WALLEYE. WALLEYE SHOULD BE COOKED IN BUTTER. I DID NOT REALIZE THAT THEY WERE GOING TO PAN FRY IT IN LEMON OIL. MY MISTAKE. ANYWAY, IT WAS AWFUL. I DID NOT SAY ANYTHING BECAUSE MY FRIEND, NEXT TO ME, ORDERED THE SAME DISH AND LOVED IT. SO I WILL ASK MORE QUESTIONS NEXT TIME. THE RICE WAS NOT VERY GOOD EITHER. THE VEGGIES WERE FABALOUS.
We have generally had good experiences at Redstone, Eden Prairie, however, our experience with our family of six recently proved disappointing. First, two drinks had to be returned, then a prime rib ordered rare turned up at least medium well. Then we were told there was no rare left, and they substituted a higher-priced steak and charged that amount. Finally, though less frustrating, the service was slow particularly between entrees and dessert.
I really like the service of the people who work there
Nice-looking restaurant, but disappointing food - hamburger & prime rib French dip sandwich both served sloppy with soggy bun.
Took a long time for the server to greet us, then another 10 min to get the water for the table I requested. Apps - 1 was extremely disappointing (meatballs) portion was so small and we didn’t find any cheese (mozzarella stuffed, per menu) and buffalo shrimp was brought out with blue cheese (requested none at time of the order). Took another 5- 10 min to get a new one out. No manager ever came over, nothing was offered for our inconvenience. I’ll stop there- doesn’t get any better. We spent over $200 for 4 people and it was so-so. Disappointing Redstone... seems to be getting worse.
Even though we had a reservation, we still had to wait about 10 minutes to get seated. We were attended to right away and right up until our food was delivered, but then it was as if we were forgotten about for a 1/2 hour, never checked on, water glasses dry. The food was very good and our second round of drinks were delivered right away. You could tell our waitress was busy with other tables, but never made it back over for quite awhile, when she did, she stated she’d go get the check, my other guest asked to get desserts to go, we weren’t offered an option before we mentioned we wanted to order them. We were celebrating three birthdays in one family and it would’ve been nice to be attended to a bit more, even after the food was delivered.
The food was amazing but the restaurant was really dark and quite pricey. Our server was great and very accommodating. (I'm a picky eater) We will definitely go back
The food was awesome and fast! The server was nice but spoke a little too fast for one to really understand what she was saying. The ambiance was beautiful (quiet & dark but not too dark). My husband and I don't get out much due to busy lifestyle (4 children) but this was the perfect date!
Very pleasant way to spend Valentine’s Day. The food was excellent with a big variety to choose from. The appetizer of scallops and the house salad was ample for me. Hubby had hamburger and could only eat half. Want to go back.
Awesome service and great food very friendly staff
Valentines Day. Was nice. Food was great
Great food and experience as we always enjoy this restaurant.
Busy night for Valentine's Day - excellent food as always.
We've typically enjoyed our meals at Redstone so decided to go there prior to Valentine's Day for a night out. Unfortunately, the menu selections didn't include one of our favorites, the calamari recipe had changed (too much breading more shrimp than Calamari) and the sea bass was mushy. They did take the fish back and credit it. Since my husband already had his food, I just ordered a salad. In the end, we had a mediocre meal for too much money. Simply wasn't worth it.
The hostess has a horrible attitude
Way more hassle than have reservations should ever be.
Had to get the manager to even get a table where requested and confirmed when reservation was made.
NOT customer friendly
Busy Saturday night and had reservations, but had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Brian, our waiter, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and offered to make substitutions if we desired. We ordered drinks and later our dinner entree - Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass with brandy-garlic crust, stir fried vegetables with Asian sesame vinaigrette and basmati rice. My wife had the Blue Cheese-crusted Filet Mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and root vegetable medley. My sea bass was delicious and perfectly cooked and flavorful. I substituted grilled asparagus for the bell pepper medley and glad I did. The wood-fired asparagus was slightly smokey, tender crisp and delicious. Unfortunately, plating was a mess. There was too much rice (about 2 cups) covering the plate with asparagus spears scattered over the top then the sea bass on that so it made the sea bass look small by comparison. My wife ordered the 10 oz filet medium rare, but it came out raw to rare so she ate around the edges that were cooked correctly. Her roasted root vegetables (butternut squash, sweet potato and parsnips) were undercooked as well. We had to ask to see Brian so we could get the filet and vegies re-fired or replaced. When it came back, the filet was mostly medium to medium well with 3 separate pieces of meat on the plate and the vegies were untouched. They should have prepared a new dish to get it right but didn't. I ate while she waited then I waited while she ate. I hate when that happens. When the manager came over to check on everything, we told him what happened with the filet so he comp'd her dinner. The filet was tasty, just not a good experience. We ended with Sebastian Joe's ice cream with delicious caramel and hot fudge toppings, but it didn't make up for the disappointing experience.
