We were packed in a corner with two loud parties crowding us. Half were too hot near the fireplace. The food took forever. Food was good but overall experience wasn't terrific.
Thanksgiving buffet was very good, best turkey I've had! Desserts were blah.
Many options, including some standard "kids menu" items. Great service, delightful atmosphere, Would highly recommend Redstone's Thanksgiving buffet to even the pickiest diners. Everything about it was done well.
I asked for my food to not have a couple of items because of food allergies. As I was eating I tasted the ingredient it wasn’t supposed to have. It wasn’t one stray bite, it was all over the dish.
The server and manager were both very apologetic and offered to remake my food, but the kitchen botched that. Fortunately it wasn’t a life threatening food allergy, but sure ruined lunch.
Our server Kari was amazing she offer good suggestions and knew her stuff
Mary was a wonderful wait person.
Always good food! Servers and all are well trained and accommodating. Love the ambience. We always go back
Good time. Orders got a little messy but General Manager more than made up for any mistakes. Great Staff.
The waitress gave us the wrong bill
Redstone is My favorite place. The food and wine is Always good.
Pretty noisy. Otherwise things were fine.
Food was warm. I sent it back to be heated still warm. Bill was given while we were still eating. Overall just a poor experience. Food was not good either. Crab cake was dismal. Need a new chef. Server was pleasant.
Great food, great service!
First time trying the prime rib. It was a tough cut of beef and I expect more for price.
I cannot believe we were nickel & dimed on the Crab Dip appetizer. We were a party of 4 sharing the app which consisted of a hearty portion of crab dip and enough chips for a Toddler. When we asked for more chips the response was, “They cost $2.00”
Talk about ruining an otherwise great meal. Every time we asked for something after, we prefaced it request with, “Will it cost $2.00?”
Shame on you, Redstone.
Food was good but it was very loud.
The service was VERY slow and the restaurant was not very busy. My drink was not refilled. Waited a long time for server to take order. Did not get good follow up service. Everything was very slow - getting boxes to go - paying check - no coffee refill
My personal mark of a good dining experience is in getting outstanding service. If the food is mediocre, I won't complain if the service is top notch.
In this case, my food was spectacular - but I was annoyed - when I don't get good service, I resent paying high prices and it upsets my dining experience. I wanted to enjoy a nice brunch with my friend.
We love Redstone already, but our last visit was exceptional! Our waitress/the bartender was amazing. She was so attentive and helpful, I wish all restaurant experiences could be like this. The food was phenomenal- get the steaks with the Blue Cheese Crust added!! No complaints at all.
The Hostesses were so accommodating
To find us the table we wanted.
They were backed up in bringing our food but the waitress was always there to keep us posted & topping off our coffee.
Food was Great as usual.
Prime rib cut not the best...but portions big and flavor great. Waitress was excellent!
great casual restaurant that has a strong menu and good service.
A few bumps in the road. Initially bad seating. Then food availability. They made an effort to make it right. Took a while to gets drinks and refills. But it all worked out eventually.
Excellent food and service.
I regret not remembering our waiter's name as he was outstanding. I think it may have been Chad.
Thank you for a fantastic experience.
Jesse provides great service. Was surprised the Sommelier didn't want to be bothered to come to the table regarding my question, given I'm a level 1 Somm.
Oh well, Jesse did a great job.
The food and service were excellent. A friend and I wanted to spend time visiting, and we were given ample time to do that. We never felt rushed to finish, although the restaurant was not extremely crowded at the time. I would definitely go back again and recommend it.
Very disappointing experience from start to finish. We used to be big Redstone fans. My husband held his staff luncheon at the Ridgedale location last December. But our experience Saturday night was incredibly disappointing. Drinks were weak - and staff scoffed at our complaints. Our first waitstaff made it clear he wasn't happy with our leisurely approach to dining when we opted not to order entrees until we received our appetizer. Midway through the evening, a second waitstaff appeared saying she was taking over from our original waitstaff.
Second server was phoney nice - very patronizing. We felt patronized - marginalized. Food was adequate. Once upon a time the food was very good. No longer. Short rib burger was our favorite - now only on the lunch menu. And prices are ridiculously high for a shopping center restaurant. Sad that a former neighborhood favorite has lowered its standards.
I think this is the last time we will visit this restaurant. Food is extremely expensive and not that good anymore. Used to be one of our favorite places. The vegetable came out burnt to a crisp and they still served it to us. No discount for that. Stomach ache afterwards. Done.
Service food wine ambiance all outstanding It is the perfect setting for a business meeting or a fun night out with friends
Redstone Minnetonka has improved much since they have re-located to Ridgedall Mall. We were seated in a side room which was more quiet than the big dining room. Our food was good and portions were good size.
As always, Redstone provided a great meal and experience. Wyatt and his protege were quite attentive, and the food was perfect for our needs.
We very much enjoyed our nice quite dinner and the food was excellent.
Their sea bass and walleye is absolutely superb
The braised lamb shank was wonderful and the parmesan walleye was good as ever but thought the caper bernaise sauce was a bit stronger then normal.
Not our best experience this last visit. Even though it was early dinner hour, our waiter was inattentive and we had to ask the bus person for things. Food was not that good. Steak over seasoned, vegetables were cold, ribs tasted warmed up and fries too salty.
Food was absolutely delicious!
Atmosphere was bright and vibrant. Food was excellent! Manager on staff was extremely happy and cheerful.
Very good. Enjoyed our meal
Highly recommend the buffalo shrimp! Absolute fave!
Great food, wonderful service!
Met a friend for a birthday lunch. Shared the jerk chicken fondue - SOOOO yummy! Followed up with the best banana cream pie in the Twin Cities.
