Great service ) had the Redstone burger keto-style (no bun, grilled asparagus vs fries) - delicious!
We got three different servers (different one for drinks, food order and check) and the one who took our food order kept asking us to place main-course order even before our appetizers had been delivered to the table. Left a bad taste and we left without ordering any main-course.
Service was good. The food tasted great. However at 230am in the morning I got violently ill. Coming out of both ends. My husband did not get sick. We ate everything the same but I had the chicken sandwich and he had a steak. Previously I had eaten at 1230pm so it would seem it that it would have been from the food at Redstone. I had no fever and did not have any repeat symptoms after that. Thank goodness.
I hosted my book club at Redstone. The table was ready for us. Everyone showed up because everyone loves the food. Our server was excellent. We had a wonderful time.
Food was good but portions were small for the price. Wine came late for the entree.
Awesome Parmesan encrusted walleye, good wine in a comfortable setting
I've always loved Redstone. Our waitress was very informative and cordial. Our cocktails were not very good. Had 2 OldFashioneds and 1 Cosmo. There was a lot of cranberry juice and little Vodka :( You don't want a red Cosmo. My husbands and my food was great but my daughter had hair in hers. Sent it back but by the time she got it we were done with our meal. It was her birthday. Initially, the waitress told us they don't do anything for celebrations so I was curious why it was on the form when I made the reservation.
Ended up having a great experience at this Redstone. Initially was seated in a part of the restaurant that was set aside from the rest, almost felt detached completely. My date and I moved to the bar and sat bar side in a great spot for dinner. Enjoyed the energy there and the service from the bartenders was well done. Setup similar to a regular seating. Overall save on the experience that initially was feeling kinda blah.
My husband and I had a delicious Valentine's Day dinner at Redstone Minnetonka for a second year. Both times we have had great service and really yummy meals, but also had to wait 30-35 minutes, (both times), beyond our our reservation time to be seated ) and that is frustrating.
Baby back ribs are absolutely amazing, overall everything I have ever had was awesome. It is more expensive but totally worth it.
Everything was fine except we had to edit an extra 30 minutes after our res. To get seated
Service was exceptional food was very tasty.
Always enjoy the blue cheese/shrimp. Was a business lunch, service was prompt, food was good...
The tables were not cleared well enough to serve the entrees, it was too crowded of a table top.
The food and service was outstanding! Drink refills were waiting before we finished and service was friendly but not overbearing! The chiliean seabass was quite good and the fillet mignon very tender. The fondue appetizer was a great start to the meal!
I had been to this location once before when it first opened and did not like the atmosphere so had not returned. We used to go to the old location across from Ridgedale all the time. I really love their food so decided to give the newer location another try. We had a booth so that made it more pleasant and we had great service. I had blackened Mahi Mahi and my son had ribs. The fish was excellent as were the ribs. My only complaint would be that I feel the sides were a little lacking - the vegetable that came with my simple fish was carrots...they used to do asparagus or broccolini, which I much prefer. And I thought they did a pineapple salsa with the fish but I got pico de gallo (maybe because I ordered it blackened?). Also, the ribs just came with a sparse pile of fries...the presentation could have been a little better. But we did have the brussel sprout appetizer and that was great. They really have a great menu. I will definitely go back.
My husband and I made last minute reservations for a Saturday night at 7:15. We did not get seated til 7:20. Our waiter was very receptive to my dietary issues and helped me navigate thru the menu to find what I could eat. Our food came back as ordered and was delicious!
Mall food. Service was nice. Seated on time for reservation.
Very good food.
Everything was wonderful except we ordered the sweet and sour lettuce wraps and the might have been two table spoons of chicken
The food was absolutely delicious. Generous portions, with great presentation. Service was fast and courteous. We will definitely make Redstone a regular stop for our lunch gatherings!
They changed out our favorite meal (jerk chicken fondue) and raised prices/reduced portion on many other items. The rotisserie chicken salad was $17.50 (!) for about a third smaller than it used to be. Super disappointed. Redstone used to be on our short list of family favorite and girlfriend meet-up spots. I won’t be back - overpriced and not impressed with the food options anymore.
Excellent service and food. Servers was great, have children with severe nut alllergies, she made sure all of the items were safe before taking order. Children’s menu items are very expensive.
Very nice and knowledgeable staff. All meals received 👍 for the Hawaiian chicken sandwich, BBQ ribs, Cajun ribeye. The meal was not rushed at all.
Would certainly recommend Redstone to a friend or anyone.
I am one of those people who usually orders the same item or one of a couple items on the menu. Saturday, it was the Steak Cobb Salad. I prefer my steak to be rare and it has always been cooked exactly like I prefer. My wife was so happy that they brought back the General Tsao lamb burger. She was so disappointed when it left their menu a couple years ago, but now it is back.
Our waiter, Andrew, is one of the best. This is probably the third time he has waited on us and has always been pleasant and done everything anyone could hope for from a waiter. Thanks, Andrew.
Several items were off on this evening: 1) Specifically asked for tables not a booth as 1 party is 6'6" and another is 6'5" so the U booth is quite a challenge, adding to the frustration was looking over the center tables unoccupied, 2) The birthday we were celebrating had to be pointed out to the staff, made for an awkward moment, that was on the reservation, 3)The food was marginal as the flatbread pizza was asked
to go lite on the red pepper flakes was to hot to eat, that went un-noticed, 4) For what ever reason they were low or out of to-go boxes so the full rack and a half of ribs left over ended up being a rack of ribs instead because they would not fit in the tiny box they had. 5) a compote of ketchup was dropped and sprayed ketchup all over 4 parties including the Birthday guest, this was actually handled very well by the food runner as he brought hot towels to clean up etc... however the waiter's response was " I didn't see it" so going unnoticed" 6) Lastly this might of all been smoothed over had we had a visit from the Manager ( as is almost always the custom at Redstone) but that also never happened. In closing I tipped as I always do but as I thought about this visit I became more irritated to the point of another visit to Ridgedale Redstone will be very unlikely. I'm not looking for anything just hate to see another good establishment fall to the wayside. Sincerely, Greg H
Service slow. I love the chicken salad, but sometimes it is short on lettuce
Disappointed with the menu changes. This used to be my favorite restaurant!
I had the short ribs. They were good but the liquid they were in was very greasy. Way too much butter. My wife had the bone in ribeye and it was very average. Served with broccoli that for some reason was black. Service was good but a little slow at times. It was my mother’s ninetieth birthday and they brought out their flaming fountain.
Came for the ribs! seemed a little different sauce, still good, disappointed in the fries were not served in the silver cup but laying on the plate, seemed like less fries and also got cold quick! The coleslaw was good but was very skimpy. Seems like you get something that works and you go changing it all the time.
The food is overpriced for the portion size. My steak salad was a joke. The steak tasted good but they forgot part of the ingredients for the salad and the lettuce was shredded and wilted and had little flavor. I didn’t eat the lettuce and when it was left alone on the plate it was maybe half a cup of lettuce. The server rarely came around. When I complained twice they took it off the bill
Late night reservation for 2. Sat in bar area. Server was nearing the end of her shift and you could tell as she was a bit impatient. The drinks were excellent but overpriced.
When sitting in the bar area, the cold wind from the doors opening was strong. We moved, and while it was still noticeable, it was not as cold. We probably would have stayed longer and ordered more if not for the cold. The food was good-love the chicken noodle soup. Service was great.
I came early before my party. They said I don't see a reservation. Open table. But gave us a table. Found out later I had 11pm not 11am. Oh well she did call about the 11pm reserve while I was at the Restaurant. Silly mistake. Our food was good. Our waitperson was excellent. I highly recommend your Redstone Minnetonka location.
the majority of the food either was smokey or had onions, of which I am allergic so I just ate a small plate of french fries that cost $5.50???? I would not eat there again nor tell anyone else to eat there
A great dining start of the new year! Amanda made our experience great. We took advantage of the seasonal specials.
