Redstone American Grill - Marlton Ratings and Reviews
We went for brunch this morning and it was pretty good! We got the buffalo shrimp but had it grilled and it was delicious. I had the eggs Benedict which was okay. The hollandaise sauce was a little runny but not bad. My friend got a salad which she said was good but the chicken wasn’t cooked completely. Still, we had a nice time.
took advantage of the online reservation. was there about 15 mins before our designated time. seats were available with only a 5-10 min wait. food was amazing and didn't take long at all to come out. the pumpkin cheesecake was mouth watering. although we did ask the waitress to box it for us in the first place and it was brought out on a plate so we ate it there anyway. would definitely go back there again.
I find that the salads have gotten smaller.. I just ordered the house salad which I think is priced somewhere around $9.00 Not worth the price..I enjoy the Salmon on the Plank and a Burger.. But I think the Chopped Chicken Salad shrunk.. Just thinking the salads not worth the price.
I took my wife here last weekend and we had a really nice time. The food was excellent even though it is a little bit pricey. It is a nice quiet, dimly lit atmosphere and they have a nice variety of choices on their menu. I am curious to go back and try other items that sounded delicious. The service was excellent, friendly, and attentive and served in a reasonable amount of time. My wife and I will definitely be returning in the future to this comfortable place with a great ambiance and variety of items on their menu. Great for a date night or to go with a bunch of friends. I have also been here in the past to sit at the bar with friends and had a positive experience. Just as good of a place to hang out for some cocktails as it is to sit down and eat. I definitely recommend checking it out!
Second time service issues abounded. It was not crowded or exceptionally busy. Orders were delivered separately with extended wait in between. Second order arrived not as ordered and had to be corrected. Had to track down server for more coffee. They were pleasant enough but dismissive. Please don’t tell me it was because on both service issue occasions the table consisted of two women. That would be a shame.
WE WERE CELEBRATING THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF OUR 1ST DATE. THE STAFF GREETED US, AND WISHED US A HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. OUR SERVER, GARY, WAS WONDERFUL. HE MADE SEVERAL SUGGESTIONS THAT HELPED US TO DECIDE WHAT WE WANTED TO ORDER, SINCE THERE IS SO MUCH TO CHOSE FROM ON THE MENU. MY SALMON DISH WAS DELICIOUS. MY HUSBAND'S RACK OF RIBS WAS FALLING OFF THE BONE, AND QUITE TASTY. WHEN OUR DESSERT ORDER WAS DELIVERED TO OUR TABLE, EACH ONE WAS TOPPED WITH A LIT CANDLE AND WE WERE AGAIN WISHED A HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. ALL IN ALL, A LOVELY EVENING. WE CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK,
Not what we remembered. Placed in dark, undecorated depressing room directly on left as we walked in. Large see through fireplace could be an eye catching electric fire. Instead is empty & sad.
We ordered fondue & buffalo shrimp- both good. Then had rotisserie chicken salad, meatloaf, ribs & rotisserie chicken meals. Last 2 very worthwhile- meatloaf was terrible (Marsala was a gloppy cold mess in a dish- were we to dump on the hamburger shaped "meatloaf patty")? Rot. Salad overdressed. Hard to get waters filled. Waiter appeared to get (being generous here) "over tabled"- as he completely vanished. At one point we yelled his name - instead he busily bussed dishes from other tables. Saw front desk hosts (who clearly saw us agitated- no help). Very aggravating. We waited 30 minutes with dirty empty dishes & no bill. We had plans for dessert but couldn't leave fast enough. Will not return.
We’ve eaten at this location before, but feel that the quality of the food and service has deteriorated. Granted, most of the tablewas vegetarian and the restaurant didn’t even offer avocado in place of bacon. What restaurant doesn’t have avocado on site?
The restaurant also charged extra money to substitute vegetables for hashbrowns, but didn’t tell us upfront.
My friends sausage patties or so hard-she couldn’t even eat them. She could have complained, but she chose not to so I am doing it here.
Everything was perfect except if you bring a cake, they charge you $1 per person in your party to cut the cake. It was the most insane thing I have ever heard. And when asked if I could just cut it myself I was told I could not. Being charged ten dollars to cut a cake? Seriously? And if we had a bigger party? Forget it. That really ticked me off. It’s not that much extra work to cut a cake. Our server was nice the food was good, pricey, but good. Will likely not have any events involving cake here again. Maybe just stick to date night.
We've had the Sunday brunch at Redstone a number of times, and it's a always great meal and great value. This time, we went for dinner, and it's quite pricey. Our experience did not live up the expectations of this $120 meal. The selection of dinner entrees is decent, with beef, chicken and seafood. I ordered Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass, described as "brandy-garlic crust, stir fried vegetables with Asian sesame vinaigrette and basmati rice." Sounds great, but it had very little flavor in the fish and veggies.. quite bland for a $38 entree. My husband had the Signature Filet (Mignon). As you'd expect, it was tender and tasted as it should. We also tried an appetizer from the Specials menu: Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs in Marinara, described as "special grind beef, pork and veal, Ciliegine mozzarella, sweet marinara sauce, Grana Padano cheese, garlic rubbed ciabatta croutes." Sounds mouthwatering, right? This $14 appy consisted of 4 average-sized meatballs that were tough with hard, crusty exteriors and the tiniest speck of something that once resembled cheese in the middle. They arrived in a small skillet of red sauce, with unremarkable ciabatta triangles on the side. Service was exceptional, but that can get you only so far. The food has to be great when 1) you're charging those prices; and 2) there are so many other lower-priced dining options with better food with in a 2 mile radius of this location. Summary: We'll stick to Sunday brunch from now on.
